Some people have those annoying little brothers, but no matter how frustrating they can be, the love between siblings always shines through. These two marine brothers show that perfectly. The younger brother, on the verge of death, isn't calling out to be saved-he's telling his older brother to save himself. And then there's Luffy, pushing the older brother to rescue the little brother he may not always like, but definitely loves. It's such a beautiful moment.
yeah that moment really hit hard for me. the instinct was to save himself in face of danger but just hearing luffy say that gave him the courage to move. beautiful moment! Luffy saved live without even knowing it. beautiful writing.

we watched everything until the end rasengan but we cut it because we were scared of copyright when they rolled the credits. 😭 we should’ve left some cuts in there including the ending scene with luffy and the gang. that’s our fault man. it was truly beautiful though. it was indeed the cherry on top as you mentioned!
