FYEO was one of the best movies in the Bond series, with the main character going back to the original spy from the books. The story was simple bud solid, the photography was just fantastic, Bill Conti's music was excellent and that motorcycle chase scene is still one of the best in the Bond series.
I love this intstrumental version of Sheena's alluring Bond theme and I loved it when this played during the underwater scene with Moore and Bouquet together. Thanks for posting!
This is so beautiful. There were some great films in the early eighties and this was one of them. It may not have had the spectacle of The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, but it had a more thoughtful, realistic and romantic feel to it, as personified by the music played here. The way the song develops around 1.02 is absoluetly lovely. Roger was the best Bond, and I think the modern Bond films lack the charisma and heart that he and FYEO had.
@mnyoung1971 Thanks for the kind comments! And I couldn't agree with you more about modern Bond films lacking heart and emotion. Also, I think FYEO had the most beautiful scenery out of any of the Bond films.
Yes, I cannot get over the beautiful scenic locations in For Your Eyes Only, and the theme justifies everything in that movie. I am rather impressed at Daniel Craig's heartless type of killing behavior!
piano77man77 do you have the instrumental to runaway by conti. that is one of my favorites. this is cool how you this set up. Please post more if you aready didnt.
Thank you! I've always liked the flugel horn in this instrumental......I've always thought about this song as being such a nice song when it is really warm outside or if you're in Florida ;D.
That's before the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer on July 29, 1981 in London, UK. I have to turn back time and start being a normal and healthy baby I was born on December 26, 1980, of my monkey year. I have to drink from a breastfeeding milk.
I used to hear this version of this song on KSEA-FM 100.7 back in early 1982’ on Daybreak Seattle, hosted by the late Jim Dai (1951-2022).
Love this version, every time I watch the film I rewind this part over and over,

I will make Princess Diana of Wales sing For Your Eyes Only in 1981. I will turn back time.

Absolutely beautiful. This and All Time High are my favorite Bond theme songs.
Thumbs up if you like James Bond - For Your Eyes Only!!
BEEEEEAAAAAAAUUUUUUUTIFUL!!!
This was the B-Side of the Sheena-Easton-single and I still love it even more than the A-side. 😏
Beautiful instrumental
Thanks a lot! I love this song as well!
Thank you!
Thanks!

It's locations were stunning but they're not represented on the video you have here with the exception of the first 3 seconds.
"For your eyes only, darling."
Really good instrumental version of the excellent title song, which I would rank as among the best in the series.
john barry ,john william, james horner , bill conti , ennio moriconne are
great genius of movies' theme

Supurb!!
Remember Albert Broccoli, Roger Moore, and Carole.
I didn't like the film as much as the other Roger Moore films, but this has one of the best songs
For Your Eyes Only wasn't the best Bond movie - typical storyline and really bad Bond girls.
The main theme song (Sheena Easton) was brilliant though.
thus the importance of theme song in movies
Thanks!
Thanks!
