The totally new season 2 of This is Livin' and we got some really really big big super lit videos coming but for now enjoy koa eating the foods during the backdoor shootout. he gets one big barrel surfing ride during this episode but other then that he does the falling. I really enjoyed Pipeline when I was there recently....drinking my arvo beers, getting some great shots while going, whoaa, howd he make that, what the fark, no wayyyy along with everyone else haha. Got a nice sequence of Nathan getting slotted & plenty of others I didn't recognise. Magic place, look forward to our next trip. Bernie Baker was a great host & well located to your coffee stand & you should be eating those Bansai Bowls man wtf they're epic ; )

Ahh just read the above, vodka soda, gotta love vodka, I like mine with passiona or passito....comment on what I'd like to see...mostly more of the same, really enjoying the vids. Would be cool to see surfing around the place more other than Pipe. So many waves, I really appeciate seeing shots looking down the beach, the drone views, big waves smashing over rocks like Sharks Cove. Just like where the ocean meets the sea, more shots from pillbox 2 up behind Rocky when the swells big....but yeah the stuff you guys have been doing is great. Wondering if I missed a vid or something or just didn't notice before, how did Koa get that scratch on the left side of his face. Thinking lucky it didn't get his eye....cheers boys!

i love the backdoor shootout and the format, but it does seem with that many guys out there, there is a certain amount of luck in being in the right spot. So i wouldn't feel like a failure :) You gotta take the losses with the wins. Tyler Newton is never going to accumulate the record you have. I have to say though, if i drank that much caffeine, I would be such a wreck I wouldn't be able to tie my shoes, let alone surf pipe. But don't stop eating donuts-it's too fun watching you. That's what i want to see more of!! And you and Jack tormenting each other :) and Mochi!! more mochi in his vacay home. Oh, and was good to see Bruce.

Can you show people to the different ways to pop up on a surfboard please? I'm a beginner Surfer aggressively trying to move from soft-top to longboard and eventually down the fun shapes and hopefully one day not too far in the future shortboards but I know the pop-up is very different when doing it on shortboards. I have watch UA-cam videos on the chicken wing method and jumping from the thighs which is very hard and planting toes into the pad and stepping forward with the dominant and I just want to know what do most professional Surfers do and what do you like to do? For the pop-up. Thanks!!!!
