"You talkin' to me?" Taxi Driver is still one of Martin Scorsese's best pictures of all time, and one of my all time favorites! Sony really needs to release the others on 4K individually like David Fincher's The Social Network, Ivan Reitman's Stripes, and Kramer vs Kramer.
The thing about great cinema is you can't get caught up for too long on 1 movie. If any movie carries the lesson that obsession is dangerous it'd b this movie
"Taxi Driver" remains as one of the absolute classics that Martin Scorsese directed, along with "The Departed" and "Goodfellas". And Paul Schrader's screenplay is cherry on top, and I also recommend Schrader's films that he directed such as "Affliction", the A24 movie "First Reformed", "Hardcore", "American Gigolo", "Master Gardener", "The Card Counter" and "Light Sleeper". Also, Schrader's newest film "Oh, Canada" premiered at Cannes back in May, along with "Anora" and "Kinds of Kindness".
Mine just arrived today and already watched it! It arrived dent free as well which I’m usually afraid of when ordering steelbooks online. One of the best movies for sure for me and De Niro is one of my favorite actors of all time. 🙌🏾

Criterion actually released Taxi Driver but only for laser disc
