My recoil spring broke again, and after a few months I started getting the bubbles out of the NEW carb in the fuel return line, preventing me from starting it with a drill. I bought a stihl and I'm very happy. I don't know what's up with that carb but I'm happy to not be using it any longer.
I have older ryobi ry08548. When it sits & I pick it up some gas comes out from under gas tank. I don’t know where it’s coming from. It must be minor leak or gas would be all over. Under tank is plastic shield so I can’t see. I don’t know if it’s cracked. Any ideas on what to check? When I run it it doesn’t seem to leak.
Fuel hoses stretch around when you pick up the unit. I would first inspect all fuel lines for cracking or aging and recommend replacement. You can get a variety pack of fuel lines and primer bulbs online, they are relatively universal. Inserting fuel line can be tricky, try to cut a slit in the end you're sticking in so you can fold the tube into itself and fit it in the hole.
This helped me get my blower started! Thanks
Thanks very thorough video, you know your stuff😊
I reworked one couple of months back and I m not really happy with the way it built and how cheap it is
But it ran fine and he’s happy
