I use my hands because I typically have them on me! Made me giggle. Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been looking for a tutorial just like this. But first I think I must take the master class! You’ve inspired me to get up and make/ learn today. Thank you
I just love that !!! You are so good at making things , thank you for explaining everything so well. Im going to check out your other videos on wire wrapping.
Tha ks fir this video. Now I may bot be a beginner, but this was my first time doing these. You taught me so well in this, I forgot I was wearing rhw one I made, and took a nap with it in. This is a great model and I love it!
Excellent! You answered a few questions i had about custom sizing, i sooo much appreciate you generously sharing your experience, skills and opinions :)
Sorry to miss the live chat 😞 but I watched the video. It's always good to come back to basics. I haven't made these in a few years, guess it's time to pick it up again! Thanks for everything, Von!
20g or 18g wire your choice of metal/ color, some wire cutters and pliers and some beads (looks like maybe 6mm and 4mm) that have holes big enough to take 20g wire at bare minimum is what you will need for this type of project... But for starting in general I recommend you get various wire guages. To learn how to weave you will want a thinner weaving wire like 26-28g as well. Nylon jaw pliers for straighting out your wire is also an essential in my opinion but many go without it
Hello there, I am a subscriber love watching your tutorials. You can call me Grams Lorena LOL..I have a question my granddaughters would love these. Can I use (sterling silver-filled 18G) wires like the following: All sterling silver or gold filled: full hard round; dead soft round; dead soft twisted square; half round half square? I have a platinum account with FMG. But I would like to make good quality ear wire rings for my girls using sterling silver filled or Gold filled. How much wire would I need? In other words to make one ear wire how much wire is needed? I can figure out the rest. FMG sells wire by 5ft, 10 ft., 25 ft., and 100 ft. spools. I know I wouldn't need more that 25 or 100 ft. that is expensive even for me. How many can I make with 5 ft. ?
I'm a jewelry maker myself and I make certain kinds of jewelry but I watch UA-cam videos tutorials on how to make jewelry that I can do and some I did and most I didn't It was just to hard.
When you keep talking right in the middle of the next step and cover the work with your hand and rotate…you lost me. Which wire is the second bead going on?
Fantastic instructions. Also, the best explanation of how to fit and wear an ear cuff that I have seen anywhere. Thank you!
Thank you, I am glad you like it!
I love your work & I truly appreciate you teaching & sharing....Thank you!! ❤️

I have been wanting to get into wire wrapping, and this looks like it'll be a good place to start! What should I have on me to work with you?
