I'm afraid of heights, I was scared in the cable car from Grindelwald to First. So, I thought I would try the First Flyer, because somebody who is as afraid of heights as me would probably get a thrill doing that. I did it, but felt absolutely nothing. I was not scared at all. So, if you're unsure about doing it, you might want to save the money and the time by skipping this activity.
Hi Lucas! It's interesting you say this because we kinda wondered the same thing. It just honestly didn't look that thrilling to us, especially for the money. We were huge fans of the Trottibike though!!
Hi Lucas, I saw that the Firstbahn AG is closed for maintenance from 24 October until 17 December. Did you still manage to ride the cable car during this period? Would really love to know as I am heading over before 17 December and I don't want to miss visiting First 😭
@@Hkimhaseals Hi. I was there in late May. The place is great, with fantastic views. But the views are fantastic everywhere in the Jungfrau region. In my opinion, the Jungfrau region in general is a must-see, but not First in particular.
Hi Lucas, I've just gotten the reply that the cable car is still under maintenance and no other way of going there. I don't feel so sad about missing First now that you mentioned it. Thanks!
Really nice is also the hike from Schynige Platte zu Grandelwald First. And the place to go from Grindelwald is Männlichen. There you have the best view. Greetungs from Switzerland, Benjamin
Hi Benjamin! We actually hiked from Schynige Platte to Grindelwald First a few years ago and loved it! That's why we mentioned that specific trail in this video. And we absolutely love your Männlichen recommendation! We often recommend the trail from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg for panoramic views too!
Thank you. We are in interlaken 🥰 finally here. You two are amazing and helped me to plan my travel. Heading to top of Europe tomorrow morning on our way back stop Grindelwald ❤️
How awesome that you are literally here right now! We hope you enjoy your travels so so much, including Jungfrau and First! If you see us around, please stop and say hello 😊
Just a amazing place Grindelwald been there about 20 times over the years used most of them over the years public transport in Switzerland is amazing compared with the poor transport system here in Britain
Bought your 1 week guide to Junfrau region, great info! One question remains, if visiting Jungfrau area for 5 days, then also going to Geneva, Ascona, and Montreux for a trip total of 14 days flying in & out of Geneva in Sept, is it smart to buy a 15 day Swiss TP AND the 1/2 fare card? Or would STP be sufficient on its own or the BO & 1/2 fare card as you highly recommend?
Hi Lisa, thanks for purchasing our guide! It really depends on what you'll do during your time outside the Jungfrau Region. If you'll be HEAVILY riding the trains, then it might make sense to buy the Swiss Train Pass (but do not combine it with the Half Fare Card). However, in most cases, it's not that expensive to travel between cities and towns outside the mountains, and you're likely to come out ahead with the 1/2 Fare Card. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your videos because there's so much to see in the region yet time is limited. Once we've finished at the top we hope to walk down to Schreckfeld to ride the cart and then on to Bort for the Trotti bikes. Do you know if that's possible or if the views make it worthwhile or should we just take the gondola down? Thanks
Hi there! Your plan is absolutely possible. But during peak season, the mountain carts can get really backed up (a wait of 90-120 minutes), so keep that in mind. We've never seen much of a wait for the Trottibikes though!
@@AplinsintheAlps We'll be visiting for our 10th wedding anniversary the last week of September, and all we have are flights booked so far! We're leaning towards basing ourselves for 6 nights between Lauterbrunen and Grindelwald, and then will finish with 3 nights in Lake Como Italy. Everything in the area looks so scenic, so it'll be tough narrowing down whay to see, but it'll be fun! You've done a great job of laying out all the options in your rail pass video!
We just got back from our trip there. From Bachalpsee we hiked to Faulhorn for amazing 360 views. Then hiked the Schynige Platte trail, possibly our favorite hike of the trip, even after doing the Eiger Trail and Panorama trail from Mannlichen, which were both beautiful. Great ridge walking and scenic views the whole way. Oh, and my daughter and our 82 year old friend also went paragliding from First! I started watching your videos before our trip and they were so helpful for planning and inspiration.
@@AplinsintheAlps Schynige Platte to First is a great hike, about 6 hours! Fantastic views. And, of course, don't _even_ get me started on paragliding, I fly my paraglider whenever I go there, it's awesome, with cows mooing underneath 🙂
Hey guys i am going there nxt week thnx for the many Infos i wu'd love to Rent a bike and ride arround this beautiful places. Do you know if there is a Rental bikes everywhere in Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen?
That sounds like lots of fun! We haven't yet rented bikes here, but locals have recommended Imboden Bike in Lauterbrunnen and Flying Wheels in Interlaken multiple times. Hopefully one of those shops can provide what you're looking for!
Hi Jana/Brett, your videos are very helpful to us first timer. I have a question thou, instead of taking the trotti bike (I’m afraid I’ll fly over) can I just walk down for the view (selfie😀) Thank you in advance for your advise
Wow! So helpful. Thank you! Is it possible to reach Grindelwald by gondola from Wengen via Wengen-Männlichen-Holenstein-Grindelwald Terminal? It looks possible on google maps. Just not sure if that makes more sense than taking the train.
It's possible either way! But if you go Wengen-Mannlicen-Terminal, you'll have to then take a bus or train from Terminal to the First Station. Otherwise you can train from Wengen-Luaterbrunnen-Grindelwald Bahnhof.
We honestly don't recommend buying the adventure package. You can buy online in advance, but you can't pre-book times for the individual activities. And we usually see 2-3 hour wait times PER ACTIVITY by even mid-morning. We think it's a much better approach to pick just your top activity and do that one, saving yourself more time to explore. Hope this helps!
Hi there! No, unfortunately none of the adventure activities are included with any of the train passes. But since all your gondola rides are fully covered by the BO Pass, it makes sense to just pay for whichever adventure activities you want to do. Good question!
Thanks Jana & Brett. Really appreciate your videos and learning a lot from them. With a half fare card will any of the adventures by discounted by 50%? thanks!
Hi Jana and Brett, thank you for making all these videos. They are very helpful in creating our itinerary. We will be in Switzerland 2nd week of October. Am doing our itinerary and I just want to know if going to Grindelwald Cliff Walk, Grindelwald First and Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe) in one day is possible. We are staying at Interlaken OST and would just like to do the Cliff Walk and toboggan run, then see Jungfraujoch. Thank you.
Hi! You could do Grindelwald First cliff walk and Jungfraujoch in the same day, but there is not a toboggan run at First (although there is one nearby at Pfingstegg, but you couldn’t do all 3 in one day because of the travel time and opening hours). Hope that helps!! 🙂
Thanks for such a detailed video...even though I have a few question 1.if we have Jungfraujoch - Top Of Europe tickets will grindelwald first is covered with it. 2. we are visiting Jungfraujoch then should we visit grindelwald as well. 3. And is it possible to cover both in one day. Thanks Loveneet
Jungfraujoch and Grindelwald First are different places so they will require different tickets. It’s possible to do both in one day, although it would be a very long and very full day! (Make sure to note when the first/last rides are at both destinations so you don’t get stuck)
Great video! Question, what do you mean by regional pass? Are the day passes (Tages Kart) considered as regional pass? Do they cover the cable card and other activities?
Glad you liked the video! Day passes are used within a specific city where the regional passes let you travel throughout several cities that make up that region. You can look on the website for whatever pass your considering and it will show you all the routes and what/if cable cars are included.
Amazing video, this is getting me super excited for the trip, I have a question though, once on the first, if I do an activity like the flyer, how do I get back up to the first? Do I have to pay a Gondola ticket again?
This video has really been helpful and I have seen this many times now, really good. I have 1 question, if we want to go to grindelwald first and take the adventure package, we need to buy cable car tickets + adventure package tickets, right? This doubt is because on adventure package page, it is mentioned, The Adventure Package includes a ride on the Firstbahn. (unlimited) so I am bit confused that if I buy only adventure package ticket, can I use normal cable car? Could you please help me here?
Hi Karina! The nice thing about Grindelwald First is that there are also two intermediate stations on the way up (Bort & Schreckfeld). You could actually stop at each one, and there are great hiking trails all over the place. So you can absolutely hike in this area, by picking the station low enough to be clear of snow!
Love the Mountain cart. Do you have any advice on Renting mountain bikes and trails that would give more freedom to explore as well as trill rides? Have reservations for Aug1-7 Maybe ill see you at Steiner's again.
Great question Austin! We haven't done any mountain biking, but there are lots of Intersport shops (and plenty other shops as well) in Grindelwald that will rent bikes for the day or even part of the day. Having done lots of hiking (but no mountain biking), I think we'd choose the area from First down to Grindelwald, especially the area in the hills between Bort and Grindelwald. So many beautiful places to stop along the way!
@@AplinsintheAlps Have seen rental places in Interlaken, even electric bikes. will do some more reasearch online. Im excited to go again, starting my count down.
I am going to visit First on this 25 June 😊😊 I don’t know whether or not I should buy tickets online in advance? Can online tickets help me to skip the queue? I will come to First at around 14:30 so I am afraid that I may not have enough time to enjoy the trottibikes due to long queue, which makes me waste my money for the online ticket. In your opinion, under my circumstance should I buy online ticket in advance? Or I should buy ticket when I go down to Bort from First?
Hi there! The online ticket won't help you skip the queue for the adventure tickets, unfortunately. But in our experience, there usually isn't too much of a wait time for the trottibikes, though you can never be sure. We suggest using the SBB Mobile App to buy your cable car tickets. That way, you can literally buy them in the moment without standing in line. Have a great trip!
@@AplinsintheAlps Our last trip was in '07, but we plan to go back next year for a couple of weeks, so I've watched all your videos to catch up with the latest. Great info!
Hello. Great video! Quick question. If I plan to do the mountain cart activity, I assume I still need to buy the return trip ticket on the gondola to get first get to Schreckfeld and then from Bort down back to Grindelwald correct ? Thanks!
With a Junior Pass, is the ticket for gondola ride free? Another questions is can foreignor purcase Junior Travel Card and what would be the condition to purchase one? Do I need to purchase a Travel Pass myself first. Reason I ask is I only intend to purchase normal ticket as I will only spend a few days in Switzerland.
Hi guys, Do you now which activities works in Grindelwald on november? This november is going to be my first time in swiss Your videos are really helpfuls Thanks so much.
Hi..thank you for nice video.. I have a question.. for me I m not allow to do hike coz of disc herniation.. what could be possible route to reach first cliff walk after gondola ride?
QUESTION: My husband and I will be staying in Murren in August 2024. What is the best/easiest way to get from Murren to/from Gridewald/First and back. Is it a doable (recommended) afternoon excursion from Murren? We will only be there for two days.
Hey there! Great questions. There are actually a few ways to get between Mürren and First, and it’s possibly in a long afternoon! As always, the SBB mobile app is the easiest way to get directions. I know you’ve followed us for a while (I recognize your name from other UA-cam comments😁) so be sure to stay tuned for our Swiss Transportation Guide that we’re publishing next month! It will answer your question with practical ways to navigate from A to B!
If you have a train pass covering the gondola, or have already purchased a roundtrip ticket, that will be all you need. But if you only bought a one-way ticket to the top, you will need to buy another one to go from Bort back to Grindelwald.
Dear Jana and Bret, We ll b landing on Oct 2nd for a 6 nights trip to Switzerland. Am coming with my 2 1/2 yrs daughter and pregnant wife. It would be really helpful if u can help us planning our itinerary. Since my wife is carrying adv enture activities are limited and we wish to stay at calm and country side areas. Probably a close life with Swiss villages and farmers to understand more about their culture and living. Hope you both can guide us.
Hi Anish! So happy you'll get to visit here with your family! We'd love to help you plan your trip, but we're unfortunately booked up until October. We're sorry we can't help directly, but we're planning to release 3 more videos between now and when you travel, so we hope those will provide some assistance. In addition, check out our other videos as well as our blog: aplinsinthealps.com/blog/ Hope this helps!
Hi Is it possible to get to the other side without having to do the cliff walk. I am terrified of heights, and my partner isn't, but I would like to meet him on the other side at the viewing platform. Can you walk across the top? Thanks
@AplinsintheAlps thank you. That's good to know. I am going to try it but I am sure I will have to turn back but I really wanted to get the photo opportunity at the end. Thanks again, love watching your videos, I have been able to plan so much from these. We go in September. We are doing the Berina Express from Italy then the Glacier Express from Chur to Zermatt. We will stay in Zermatt then on to Grindelwald and visit the fabulous Lauterbrunnen 👌
I’m going to Grindelwald First on August 16, but I don’t know what to wear. Do you think it’s going to be cool or warm? Bdw It's my first time traveling to Switzerland.
If it's sunny, it will likely feel pretty warm. But bring a light jacket just in case...clouds or wind can make it chilly even in the summer, so it's best to be prepared for both. Have a great trip!!
Thanks for the travel tip! But I was just wondering if we don’t get the adventure package. How do we purchase the activity individually? Do you do it online or at the place itself ?
Hi there!!! Nice video!!! Anyway, I will go there next month, if I already have the 'top of europe pass', do I still need to pay for the adventures activities? Or is it free?
Hi Steven! Unfortunately the Top of Europe Pass doesn't provide any discounts on the adventure activities. Skip the adventure package though (unless you plan to do all four)-you'll end up paying more since the lift rides are already covered by your ToE pass. Hope this helps!
@@AplinsintheAlps hi! thank you for the feedback.. but my plan is, to go to the top of jungfrau and also doing the hiking, cliff walk, and also the adventure activities, which pass should I get? i will go from interlaken anyway, thank you so much for helping
What should I do coming from Paris to Grindewald by train. We also want to go to first and top of europe. We have 3 days in Grundewald. Should we buy the Swiss 1/2 fare? Thank you you are awesome!!!
I would just like to confirm because i have a niece that is 11 years old and will be travelling with his father in switzerland. If my brother will purchase top of europe pass+swiss half fare card and they will have this swiss family card so that means that my niece will be free of charge with transportations and attractions like this?
It's definitely possible if you mostly just ride up to enjoy the views. But we generally recommend splitting those into two separate days because there are just so many things we'd hate for you to miss near each of those spots. Hope this helps!
Once I get out to visit the stations before de top, can I turn back the gondola to keep going up with the same ticket? Can I chose to do it going uo or down, or just up?
Hi there! You can stop along the way, as long as you don't backtrack. With a return ticket, you could stop either on the way up or the way down. Enjoy!
Does the first clif cost any money to do ? Cause I definitely wanna do either the carts or the glide, the lake and finally the first clif but that depends on how much eventually that would cost
Hey guys!!! Thanks for always sharing such amazing recommendations! I'm planning to visit Switzerland soon. And as a solo traveller, it might be hard to deal with my backpack for some activities. Do you know if it's allowed to wear my backpack while riding on the First Flyer???
@sarindraalisoarajaonarisat5276 when going to the glider, you can wear your backpack! Just avoid having things on your hands. While riding the flyer, you have a place to let your backpack 💜
thanks for the information, planning to go there in afew months. but im a bit confused, is the grindelwald first still opening during like in February? was checking on the website but still has no info.
Hi Jun! Yes it does cover those routes. But before you settle on the Swiss Travel Pass, be sure to check out our Ultimate Guide to Swiss Train Passes if you haven't already: ua-cam.com/video/kk6wuDzvSPg/v-deo.html
Hi there! If you're talking about the adventure activities, the ToE pass unfortunately will not cover those. But it does cover unlimited rides on the lift between Grindelwald and First.
Hey if i go up to the top , and take the glider do i end up at the bottom and have to buy another ticket to take the gondola back up? Or will my one ticket i bought to get up there in the first place still work ?
What is the other end of that cliff walk? If anyone can please provide an answer..i got vertigo and fear.of heights...so not planning to walk that trail..😊
The cliff walk stays right next to the cliff side the whole way until the very end, where there's an optional section that goes straight out over the valley. It's not very long, and you can skip it if vertigo kicks in. Hope you enjoy it!
Hi, can you get the Swiss Family card for your child without you yourself getting the Swiss Pass? And how old does the child have to be to qualify for the Swiss Family Card?
It's doable, but you might have to rush a bit in order to make it happen, which is why we don't recommend it. But if you want to, we'd probably recommend going to Jungfraujoch first thing in the morning, then going to Grindelwald First in the afternoon. Hope this helps!
We’re a mid 50’s couple and would love to do the trotti bikes from Bort to Grindlewald, but have seen many reviews about how dangerous they are. What do y’all think?
If you hold the brakes and stay in control (instead of flying downhill) we think you will be a-okay! 😊 we were! But yeah, if you never pressed the brakes you could certainly fly off the trottibike!
Hi Angie! The Berner Oberland Regional Pass and Jungfrau Travel Pass both cover the cable car rides. But they do not cover the adventure activities unfortunately!
@@AplinsintheAlps ahhh okay I got it now. Thank you! I actually felt bad in a thought that regional passes covered it, since that's what I use everytime I travel. But I'm happy it wasn't haha 😂
Very useful tips from you guys. Thank you! My wife and I are visiting for the first time and would spend most of our time in the jungfrau and the Zermatt region. How do you think the weather will be in the first 2 weeks of October? We are from India and don't really have an idea on winters abroad. I'm basically asking if it would look like something in this video.
We hope you have a wonderful time here in October! This video was filmed in July/August so October will likely be colder but probably won't have snow. If you want more details on temperature, we include some charts in our Mürren Guide! aplinsinthealps.com/resources/1-day-guide-to-murren--gimmelwald-switzerland/
Hi there! It depends on your plans, of course. It might be a little earlier for hikes high in the mountains (depending on how much snow we get this winter). But it's a beautiful time for wildflowers and waterfalls, and that's a little before the busy summer season.

So glad we were able to help you enjoy Grindelwald First! And we agree, those trotti bikes are pretty neat!
@@AplinsintheAlps thank you. If we see you that would definitely make my day x Thank you guys
8:20 How about for Swiss Travel pass? Thank you!
Hi there! Unfortunately the Swiss Travel Pass only gives a 50% discount.
So glad i found your videos! Thank you!!!❤
We’re so glad to help!!
Which month did you travel ? And how long did it take you to cover everything you mentioned ?
The day I'll be heading to Grindelwald will be when it finally opens after maintenance during the December month :D cannot wait
We hope you have a great time visiting in winter! We bet it's lovely in the snow 😍
Another great video!
We'll be visiting First during our upcoming trip to Switzerland, and this is a great informative video!
Awesome! When is your trip to Switzerland? So grateful to help you plan your time!
So glad we could help you! We celebrated our 10th anniversary this year as well!
Is there any discount on Grindelwald's first activities with Jungfrau pass+ half fare card.
I followed your tips, thanks for sharing
We just got back from our trip there. From Bachalpsee we hiked to Faulhorn for amazing 360 views. Then hiked the Schynige Platte trail, possibly our favorite hike of the trip, even after doing the Eiger Trail and Panorama trail from Mannlichen, which were both beautiful. Great ridge walking and scenic views the whole way. Oh, and my daughter and our 82 year old friend also went paragliding from First! I started watching your videos before our trip and they were so helpful for planning and inspiration.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time on some of the best panoramic trails! We're so glad we were able to help you plan such a fantastic trip 😊
Hi! Does the Top of Europe winter pass cover any of the gondolas!?
Hi Jana/Brett, your videos are very helpful to us first timer. I have a question thou, instead of taking the trotti bike (I’m afraid I’ll fly over) can I just walk down for the view (selfie😀)
Thank you in advance for your advise
Wow! So helpful.
How far in advance do you recommend buying an adventure package? Is the day before too late?
We honestly don't recommend buying the adventure package. You can buy online in advance, but you can't pre-book times for the individual activities. And we usually see 2-3 hour wait times PER ACTIVITY by even mid-morning. We think it's a much better approach to pick just your top activity and do that one, saving yourself more time to explore. Hope this helps!
Hi Jana & Brett! I have a question, if I buy the Bernese Oberland Pass that means that all the activities are included?
With a half fare card will any of the adventures by discounted by 50%? thanks!
Hi! Unfortunately the half fare card doesn't provide discounts on the adventure activities.
Hello! Jana & Brett, what it is included in the ticket? Do we have to paid extra for hiking and going to the cliff ?
Thanks for such a detailed video...even though I have a few question
1.if we have Jungfraujoch - Top Of Europe tickets will grindelwald first is covered with it.
2. we are visiting Jungfraujoch then should we visit grindelwald as well.
3. And is it possible to cover both in one day.
Thanks
Loveneet
Jungfraujoch and Grindelwald First are different places so they will require different tickets. It’s possible to do both in one day, although it would be a very long and very full day! (Make sure to note when the first/last rides are at both destinations so you don’t get stuck)
@AplinsintheAlps can you hike down from First back to Grindelwald? If so how far it is? Thanks!
You can! It's a lot of descending so might be hard on the knees, but totally doable!
(unlimited)
so I am bit confused that if I buy only adventure package ticket, can I use normal cable car? Could you please help me here?
Hello Guys! Thank you for the video, do you think is worth it to go in april ( like the 11 or 12) or would you recommend to go to other place/hike ?
Look into Flying Wheels in Interlaken or Imboden Bike in Lauterbrunnen too!
@@AplinsintheAlps Thanks
Great video Guys! A lot of things have changed since we were last there.
Thank you so much Alan! When was the list time you visited Grindelwald First?
@@AplinsintheAlps Our last trip was in '07, but we plan to go back next year for a couple of weeks, so I've watched all your videos to catch up with the latest. Great info!
So glad we can help!
This november is going to be my first time in swiss
Your videos are really helpfuls Thanks so much.
Hi Sebastian! Are you wondering about activities up at First, or down in Grindelwald? First will be closed in November unfortunately!
All the stations in between the route to Grindelwald will also be closed? Is there any other chairlift that we can avail in November?
Hey can we use our Swizz travel pass for cliff walk in Grindelwald. Thanks
Guys, do you think it’s worth it to go this time of year.. mid march. Thinking of going soon please do reply!
Just depends on what you want to do!! There's fun to be had any time of year :)
Hi..thank you for nice video.. I have a question.. for me I m not allow to do hike coz of disc herniation.. what could be possible route to reach first cliff walk after gondola ride?
Is it recommended to get a return ticket for the gondola ride or can you walk back once you get to the lake?
@@AplinsintheAlpsfantastic! Will look for that upcoming video.
When you go down at bort station, do you need to pay to hop in the gondola again?
If you have a train pass covering the gondola, or have already purchased a roundtrip ticket, that will be all you need. But if you only bought a one-way ticket to the top, you will need to buy another one to go from Bort back to Grindelwald.
Dear Jana and Bret,
We ll b landing on Oct 2nd for a 6 nights trip to Switzerland.

Does Berner Oberland Pass cover Grindelwald first activities?
Unfortunately no it doesn't :(
Hi
Is it possible to get to the other side without having to do the cliff walk. I am terrified of heights, and my partner isn't, but I would like to meet him on the other side at the viewing platform. Can you walk across the top? Thanks
Hi there! Yes, you can meet him at the end! The Cliff Walk ends at the restaurant terrace, so that's where you can meet him. Enjoy!
Have a great time!!
Hi, thats a great video. Quick question. Can we walk down from Bort to Grindelwald if we are not using gondola or trotti?
Sure, just follow the yellow hiking path signs to get from Bort to Grindelwald!

Hello, are you Swiss? I particularly like this place. It is a very beautiful country.
wow this looks fun!
It is fun - and beautiful views too!
I would just like to confirm because i have a niece that is 11 years old and will be travelling with his father in switzerland. If my brother will purchase top of europe pass+swiss half fare card and they will have this swiss family card so that means that my niece will be free of charge with transportations and attractions like this?
would it be possible to do both Grindelwald first and Schilthorn in the same day?
It's definitely possible if you mostly just ride up to enjoy the views. But we generally recommend splitting those into two separate days because there are just so many things we'd hate for you to miss near each of those spots. Hope this helps!
Once I get out to visit the stations before de top, can I turn back the gondola to keep going up with the same ticket? Can I chose to do it going uo or down, or just up?
Hi there! You can stop along the way, as long as you don't backtrack. With a return ticket, you could stop either on the way up or the way down. Enjoy!
Hello, are you Swiss? I particularly like this place. It is a very beautiful country.
Do they work in may ? Cable cars and can kids go in
The cable car is running in May if that's what you're asking about!
Does the first clif cost any money to do ? Cause I definitely wanna do either the carts or the glide, the lake and finally the first clif but that depends on how much eventually that would cost
Nope, the First Cliff Walk is free! Which is nice for your budget 😊
Thx ❤️
Hey guys!!! Thanks for always sharing such amazing recommendations! I'm planning to visit Switzerland soon. And as a solo traveller, it might be hard to deal with my backpack for some activities.
Do you know if it's allowed to wear my backpack while riding on the First Flyer???
I was wondering the same question, where do we put the backpack?
@sarindraalisoarajaonarisat5276 when going to the glider, you can wear your backpack! Just avoid having things on your hands. While riding the flyer, you have a place to let your backpack 💜
thanks for the information, planning to go there in afew months. but im a bit confused, is the grindelwald first still opening during like in February? was checking on the website but still has no info.
It’s open in the winter as there’s a ski area up there
does swiss travel pass cover interlaken to grindelwald or lauterbrunnen (just the towns)?
Hi Jun! Yes it does cover those routes. But before you settle on the Swiss Travel Pass, be sure to check out our Ultimate Guide to Swiss Train Passes if you haven't already: ua-cam.com/video/kk6wuDzvSPg/v-deo.html
So the Top of Europe pass covers all 4 rides? Because that's what I'm planning to buy anyways to visit the top of the Jungfraujoch
Hi there! If you're talking about the adventure activities, the ToE pass unfortunately will not cover those. But it does cover unlimited rides on the lift between Grindelwald and First.
@@AplinsintheAlps thank you! The plans keep on getting better at gathering information from you guys!

@@AplinsintheAlps Thank you 😊
Hi, can you get the Swiss Family card for your child without you yourself getting the Swiss Pass? And how old does the child have to be to qualify for the Swiss Family Card?
Can i cover First Cliff Walk and top of Europe in one day?
As a Swiss I‘d say if you use your common sense they‘re not dangerous and just fun! Enjoy your stay!
So with regional passes it is also cover the cable car going in First? And also for the flyer?? 😮
No

You live in Grindewald or near First?!? How amazing! You live in an incredible place!
Can I buy the cable car ticket from the SBB app? I can see the price in the SBB is the same with tickets on website.

Only the cable car ride! All the adventure activities are a separate purchase.
Is it good to visit jangfrau region on middle of May month ?
Hi there! It depends on your plans, of course. It might be a little earlier for hikes high in the mountains (depending on how much snow we get this winter). But it's a beautiful time for wildflowers and waterfalls, and that's a little before the busy summer season.
