Especially the advice if you play defense when it comes to crossing a border and everything that entails bureaucratic responsibility, such as the example given of the sale of the car. It's better to know in advance... than to suffer from not knowing later.
Very informative. It sounds like you covered pretty much everything. I have no plans to head to Mexico. I’m currently residing in New York State but I do want to go south of the border at some point. Thank you for the knowledge sharing.
It's been awhile since we've driven down Baja. Besides FMM, is there another document needed to cross the state border into Baja Sur? I seem to recall making sure we got this document in the north before reaching the border between the states. Thanks for clarifying and thanks for making this video.

No they will just spray pesticides under the vehicle as you cross and ask for a fee. Sometimes they just wave you thru

Unfortunately it's hasn't been that way for decades. Definitely since 9/11
