I’m not too big a fan of the original Top Gun, I like it but it isn’t my favourite, but I was still excited for Maverick- and it’s the only movie I’ve ever seen in theatres where it lived up to and far exceeded every single expectation I had for it, easily my favourite movie of last year and one of my favourite sequels ever.
Agreed. The first Top Gun is fine but the second is legitimately awesome and was quite a sight to see in theaters. Even at home on my big TV and soundbar it was still a blast
