I started this with my Facebook group called Dana’s Dollypalooza because I sell Blythe dolls to them, and some wanted wig ideas. Thank you. I’ve been watching you for years.
😲 those are great wigs!! Thank you so much for the quick tutorial on how to make the bold cap work with the dolls! I've seen the ball cap for sale multiple times but never quite understood it
I think this is a great way to give a doll a fresh new look. Curious on your thoughts about the pull strings… I have a wig but don’t know the size. I’m just careful when I change the eyes…
I meant to mention this in the video as pull strings usually be a topic with wigs...for me it's not really an issue. I hole the wig/top of the doll's head while I pull the strings. The wig lifts up a little but it's not a big deal. I know some have cut holes in the back of the wig for the strings to go through but I'd prefer not to damage the wig. I don't play/pull strings as much as I think some do though so I guess it would depend on what is convenient for each person. :)
Great video, what is the best brush to use for mohair wigs? I have an American girl wire brush, but I wouldn’t want to damage the mohair. Also, do your use hot or cold water to wash mohair?
I use baby brushes or fine tooth combs for my mohair. As far as washing I would use only cold and be careful not to scrub it too much or it could become matted. For me just a little water on a fine tooth comb usually does the trick.
@@JutaStokes I might look into offering the synthetic at some point as well. Just a lot of colors and styles to begin stocking up on. I appreciate the point. :)

Thank you!

Great video very helpful and informative, the wigs look lovely 💙💜💛😊
Seems obvious, just put the wig on! My question was how to get my doll ready for a mohair wig. Thanks for the help.

@@BeBeDolls thank you 🙂
Are these actually mohair or synthetic mohair?
Actual mohair. :)
@@BeBeDolls Thanks. I'm vegan and don't use animal products so I was hoping they were synthetic.
