@@tp7393 I'm not against Ryan Blaney in any way. I met his grandfather Lou when I was about 10 at Frank Crash's (he sponsored Lou's sprint car). Lots of relatives have raced at the Blaney's track (or worked at the track).
Yeah the guy who hasn’t, and will never win a championship, and sits below 20th in points. And the guy who’s a washed up angry old man who hasn’t won a race since 2020. Yeah, I’d call this a win for you as a fan of them for sure 🤣
@@Vault13CanteenFNV if you count the Duels at Daytona then a year. If you don't, then 2 years. Oh I must add that he was 20 when he won the duel and I believe 22 when he won at Watkins Glen. Not a huge fan of the NextGen on short track. However, RIR is not your typical short track. Hope to see better racing at the Paperclip and Bristol Dirt.
At least we got a nice strategy element we usually don't get. Richmond has typically been really dull for a short track. Only time it got interesting was when it was the cutoff race for the playoffs and NASCAR in their infinite wisdom decided to spice things up with a safety truck in the middle of the entrance to an open pit road. ***I'm fully aware that they didn't do that on purpose***
@@trailerparkprdgy8536 Richmond has provided some good racing over the years, even before the Chase to the Nextel Cup. I just expected more at Richmond from this car.
I'm a truex guy but the 19 team lost that race. They got laser-focused on the 24 and abandoned the strategy that got them to the front in the first place.
Maybe Ty isn’t ready for cup yet and Joe is probably giving Hamlin a few more years for Hamlin to prove he is capable of finally winning a championship
If you can't appreciate good strategy racing and think a race sucked because there weren't crashes you may want to look in a mirror and evaluate if you're actually a race fan.
@@trailerparkprdgy8536 If it were F1 or something actually interesting then yes, but there are more penalties for speeding in the pits than causing your opponent to crash. So the best strategy is cause all other drivers to crash since there are no repercussions
What was your favorite moment from this Radioactive?
Hamlin winning
Truex leading the race
Blaney and Chastain beefing on the track haha
Cliff Daniels in the beginning
Hamlin taking the lead with 5 to go.also the 99 sideways, good driving skills.
Denny’s driving at the end of the race was a joy to watch.
Yeahhh it is ! :)
True
Ehhhh
Year so far:
Blaney needs to win. Reddick and Chastain are totally exciting to watch. Go Trackhouse! 23XI wtf?!
What about the hot start from Cindric, but nothing to follow it up, or Brad Kesso's early season struggles?

I had a great time at this race.

I loved watching it
This race had Darlington vibes. Fresh tires were the difference. It was fun to watch Hamlin make up an entire lap and get the win.
