    I think the elephant joke is my favorite from the series, it's just so perfect.

      That joke brought the biggest laughs from us. Sinthu was laughing til she had tears in her eyes lol 😆

      That one is definitely great. I also always go back to the Becca jokes from the last episode. "Bach? Not Vivaldi? You're insane!" "Fine, you also book Beck." "Yeah, or a backbone." In a lot of ways, I feel like Chickens is the weakest episode of the series (probably because it's so disconnected from the main storyline, like Pari pointed out), at least after the first few in Season 1, but those jokes always land with me! Right up there with the running typo'd banner and Erica jokes.

    I think what Corduroy should have done is to inform his girlfriend that he's doing such a dangerous thing, and to inform her when he's doing it, perhaps even have her on standby to be safe. It's a similar principle in BDSM where partners have a safeword in order to mitigate any risk. Otherwise, what people do in the privacy of their own homes is entirely their business.

      It's a difficult thing to talk about, especially to your loved one becuz your life is at risk if not done properly. It find it tragic that Corduroy had so many aspirations and he dies at the end giving in to his addiction. The episode was hilarious but it had tragic undertones.

    Sinthu - "I don't wanna know!"
    Cut to an entire episode of autoerotic asphyxiation. 😂😂😂
    Another great one, guys. Really hoping you can upload two week; these are so good

    It's always fun to see which episode concept sets people off more, Chickens or Higher Love.

      Yeah this episode goes out there to deal with these topics. I appreciate this series for dealing with it.

    Ok I have to stop this partway through just to share my glee at Sinthu's horror at Pari's explanation of autoerotic asphyxiation. Loving these reactions.

      And it just continued to pay off throughout the episode. 😂

    I love that Sinthu is so supporting of people going through suicidal toughs and really emphatized the diference between going close to death because you think you have no more options versus going near death because of shits and giggles. Also just aside note, erotic asixiation shouldnt really be about cutting your air, thats plain stupid, just limiting the blood flow to your brain by gently pressing on arteries on your neck would do the trick, if you are going for the chocking part, i guess its up to you, but that is more about defenseless fantasies(like rape) than to "get a more intense orgasm"

    I love how much you guys are enjoying this show! It just gets better, especially near the end of season 2 and onward. :) Can't wait to see your reactions to specific episodes, and of course hear your discussion on the more hard-hitting episodes!

    I feel like this concept is similar to smoking cigs. It’s dumb and I don’t know why anyone would start, but when they do they can’t just stop. Any addiction really. AEA was just the most narratively helpful because people could be revealed dead. It’s also weird enough that they are the first tv series to really explore it at this length (I never watched 6ft under).

    My local Member of Parliament died of autoerotic asphyxiation when I was a teenager, which was how I learned about it. Did you spot that that young guy used his belt because BoJack had suggested it as an alternative to his kit?

    • @PariView
      @PariView  3 роки тому +2

      Hey that's crazy. It's surprising how more common it could be. We just don't know about it. I noticed that Bojack inadvertently gave him the idea too. I don't think Bojack noticed tho. 🤔

    doing that alone is just really dumb and way too dangerous. but you can have the same rush with somebody else when they choke you or at least are there to save you just in case. alone is dumb af
