YE landing Red Stewart Rwy 06 061023

My first of 3 Young Eagle flights today. Approach and slip landing on Rwy 26 Red Stewart Airfield. Notice the smoke in the air from the Canadian wildfires as I turn base to final. This young man of 8 was able to take control of the stick over Caesars Lake though he could not reach the rudder pedals. This was his first flight. A future pilot in the making.
