Nice Addlist i wish they would do a Khorne Horde Hero.
As for requests or if you considering content, you should do a series on famous battles of the lore. I think it would help alot of newcomers with the immersion if they heard about stuff like the siege at Prag, the history of Mordheim, ect.
These Chaos releases are quite topical: Tzeentch deceived us, Nurgle was sick, Slaneesh got shafted, so Khorne brought his angry mates...
Maybe slaanesh got shafted by neferata? Probably takes a lot of bones to make a coven throne for the DLC

Karanak is good at buffing, buffing enemy to run faster and in different directions, hoping that Karanak isn't chasing them.

What about bloodbulls (Doombulls of Khorne) or Shaggoth characters? They were a thing. And I couldnt agree more about Arbaal. He is also mentioned WAY more in comments by fans than Skar is. He has a long standing cult fanbase.
Honestly, that Putrid Blightkings didn't make it into Throne of Decays and Tzaangor being denied their beaks doesn't sound veru promising for the Skullreavers and Wrathmongers.
I know they're End Times units, but by now, they've been a part of Age of Sigmar for longer than a part of Fantasy, and GeeDubs seems very adamant in keeping the two separate on some level (look at what happend to AoS's Beast of Chaos Army List).
Rot knight are the signature units of throne of decay, and he have also other units that they blightkings not added with him is not that much of a concern.

Random idea for Khorne but in AoS they have Slaughterpriest who basically where Khorne spellcasters but with "prayers" so what if Khorne's buff priest got powerful buffs that in the character skills were unlocked like mages unlocking spells but they were on a timer that decreases the longer the priest is in combat.
Love to have some big bloody skulls hovering on the battlefield and wrath-axe across the battlefield.
There is a mod with Kabandar that adds them. A review should exist on this channel.

You know if skulltaker is the LL, they could take the changeling’s mission mechanic. But theme it as doing task to draw out LLs of a theater of war that is the best fighter of a race or section of the map. Ending with quest to fight them
Maybe take inspiration from Achilles from Troy: Total War of seeking out and maintaining your status as the strongest fighter?

I would love to see a Demon Engine such as The Lord of Battle or a Brass Scorpion. These were in the artwork on some of the earlier Fantasy books and would certainly help make Khorne unique
Skulltaker might have some sort of fun skull-taking mechanics similiar to defeated lord mechanics, like - getting additional permanent bonuses for every legendary lord slain and smaller, temporary bonuses for every generic lord. And quite possibly double the bonus from defeated lord mechanics?

Youre not leaking bullcrap youre using your extensive knowledge of table top and understanding/experience with CA to really show us what we are possibly gonna get. I think its perfect.

Alot of people were saying "well the leaks allowed CA to see what the community thinks" and i think thats just not true.
CA doesnt get anything valuable from watching their fans get outraged at an outrageously fake leak.

Anything unofficial is just speculation. Someone telling you it’s a leak and you choosing to trust them isn’t their fault. They are just as excited as you and if they hear a leak they’re gonna wanna talk about it good or bad. Both created a area for the community to discuss?

Khorne could get a minotaur lord and hero. It would be unique because that would be the only mortal monstrous lord and hero options from the monogods. I would also for a higher tier manticore mount. Skulltaker(or Arbaal) could be a Lu Bu type of character. For every character you kill you get bonuses.
Honestly, i would LOVE a weapon swapping and minor customization to OTHER factions!
Nothing as extensive as Daniel's mind you, but at least SOME ELEMENTS to distinct the various Lords/Heroes beside giving them a funny name
It would be awesome to have a few basic options. If High Elf princes could use swords for melee and halberds for anti-large/duelling etc.
@@NaimHrustanovic I always thought that would be a nice addition to dwarves. Make the footlords, with no mount to change their playstyle, different equipment options.
An army customizer would be amazing. Especially if you could swap helms, colors, and weapons.
The mechanics for it already exist. The mount function works just fine for it.
@@roland228 Exactly. And much of the alure of Warhammer is custom building your army. Painting and converting till its unique and one of a kind. If CA did this, the game would probably get even more massive in popularity than it already is. I mean, look at the reaction around the reveal of Daniels customized options. People were blown away, till they found out as a character function-wise he was pretty weak. But that aside, the customizing features grew into mass hype.
If they did this for EVERY faction, this game would be untouchable at the top of RTS/SRPG's.
Keep in mind one of the most common units Khorne has and al has mutated are the Khorne mamooths. Who are heavy armour, insane charge bonus which their bones in their mouth and has also a blood shield who provide proyectile resistance!
The Khorne Slaughterpriest is actually a pre-End Times idea that could very easily be incorporated.
Here's my left field guess for the Legendary Lord: The unnamed Khornate son of The Great Kurgan.

Some Ideas I had Given CA's habit of dragging up things that GW has forgotten about It'd be nice if they expanded on Khorne's Industrial side. Perhaps a Hero with Chaos Runes, which used to be a thing in early editions. Could also give Khorne some blunderbusses because they do buy them from the Chorfs. If you're worried about them making Khorne less rush give them only 4 or so ammo and Skullfeast so they wind up cycle charging and shooting. Could also give Khorne "Flamethrowers" that sprays boiling blood because Khorne had a big boy version way back called the Cauldron of Blood
So some Ideas for units:
-Khorne Marauders (Blunderbusses)
-Bloodletters (Blunderbusses)
-Bloodsprayers
-Cauldron of Blood
-Feral Manticore
-Manticore Knights
Some ideas for Chaos Runes:
-Collar of Khorne, direct damage with Silenced
-Bloodburst, Like Windblast or Tidecall
-Brazen Defiance, Buff that gives Unbreakable and Cannot Die
-Call to Slaughter, literally just the Rune of Speed
-A "Heal" that just gives Gorefeast to the target
Melee Defense & Speed Debuff
A few ideas I had that might not fit would be a Wind spell that is just summoning a herd of Juggernauts to trample all in their path, a passive item like the chalice of Blood & Darkness that summons a unit of Flesh Hounds whenever an enemy casts a spell

Ka'Bandha isn't even that unlikely to happen if CA start focussing on the 40k game.
If we think about it, it's a major character in 40k, and they could start their 40k game with more legendary characters for free essentially.
The should also move the cockatrice for the beastmen maybe an undivided version instead of the tzeench one

Minor point, Undivided Daemon Princes besides Be'lakor have been a thing in the lore in older editions. I don't think that 8th edition let you take them, but I know for a fact that they had the mark of Chaos Undivided by default in the 6th edition Hordes of Chaos book and then could other marks as upgrades. I always thought it fit in the lore though I'll freely admit that I'm biased just because I always found the idea to be cool.
I saw a post on one of the Warhammer Fantasy groups on Facebook which suggested that a Khornate Minotaur could be a lord option?
Could be a good glass cannon option to compete with the more tanky mortal lord.
I really hope we get something like the Slaughterpriest from AoS, a buff machine Lord, with a Shaman Hero.
I’m really hoping that by the end of the game the monogods will each have 3 factions. A greater daemon, a lesser daemon, and a mortal. So fingers crossed that pans out.
Though that would probably mean Tzeentch would have to get their mortal via a FLC but I’m fine with that. Shrimp can Horstman would would great with some slightly modified mechanics. Just move the Changeling to Cathay and put Egrimm in the Empire and bam.

I know Nurgle does have a lot of characters to go left, and I personally really want Gutrot Spume. But I kinda hope that if we get more god blessed mortals in the End Times dlc that they go to Warriors of Chaos so we can have 2 god specific characters each there.

@@ekothesilent9456 yeah, i would have rather had valkia be khorne and arbaal be the WoC mono khorne to be honest.
As a hero/unit option they could do Ancient Bloodhounds and/or Exalted Bloodhounds.
The Giant Spined Chaos Beast also kind of fits for Khorne.
as for Chimera, I would expect it to be in Slaneesh roster instead, because it serves the same role with bloodthirsters. And Slaneesh would need them more now that thunderbarges is a thing
Slaanesh really needs air power. That's part of why I was so surprised that Azazel was made a WoC lord.
I wouldn’t say they fill the same role, simply based on unit tier. Think of it as cockatrice tier. Slaneesh does need something to fill that gap though.
chimeras should be available for all chaos factions not just a single one

I'd love to see an aspiring champion sort of unit for every monogod but since they didn't add one for nurgle I wouldn't get my hopes up
It's possible due to the relation in the lore of Blight Kings They might be saving them for an End Times DLC. But yeah I would love to see unique aspiring champions for everyone.

They really should make the Aspiring Champions more clearly Undivided. And maybe allow all monogod factions to be able to get Aspiring Champions, but preset with their respective blessings, which causes them to change color and motif, similar to the Daemon Prince.

With the recent addition of Doom Seekers I think Wrathmongers naturally slot in, as the animation work has been mostly done already. I would also wayyy prefer a Khorne Shaman in line with Warrior Priests or Rune Smiths.

That’s an AOS thing tho isn’t it? Doesn’t have slaanesh head because slaanesh is too fat on souls.
That is an AoS unit. It shares its name with Archaon's chaos horse mount in Warhammer Fantasy and only has 3 heads (at a time when GW was considering shafting Slaanesh)

I think gore and doom bulls of khorne would be a cool concept and help fill out the generic Lord and hero slot but they might just go the battle priest route

Doombulls of Khorne and Gorebulls of Khorne would be great for Lord and Hero options as Khorne already has access to Minotaurs of Khorne. That would also allow for a Khorne Minotaur army.
Regardless, I'm really excited for Khorne's time to shine in the spotlight.

This was the series I was waiting on! I hadn’t seen any of your vids on my feed yet and thought oh no he’s on vacation!! Lol
Kabandha would be cool. I understand why some are against him but I dig it. I still think its going to be Arbaal tho. khorne gors and slaughter brute and skulltaker are 100% locks. After that i feel like its wild wild west. The two end time units make sense and fit but a bloodbeast would be awesome. some new GW approved unit they plan on making for oldworld in future would be awesome. They have alot of options really for not having alot of options on paper i feel.
They could borrow ideas from the concept art for Warhammer Online and make a more juiced up mega chaos spawn
I'm expecting Arbaal, Gulgdemonetized and I'm hoping for a Forest Goblin character and other variants to finish the Greenskins off.

I'd love a khorne unit that has a super powerful mortis engine that only activates when a spell is cast on the battlefield, then the mortis engine turns of after a short bit

A chaos berzerker hero that could ascend into a daemon would be awesome. So you could either go dual axes armored, or go for phys res
Khorne should not get Chimeras and you forgot the following:
Doombulls and Gorebulls of Khorne Lord and Hero options
Bloodchariots - Bloodletter Chariots from 6th and 7th edition
Bloodcursed - Ethereal blood spirits from Ashes of Middenheim RPG 2nd ED
Brass Sisters - Female Khorne cultists from Tome of Corruption RPG 2nd ED
And then various marked stuff like Giants, Giant Spined Chaos Beast and Chaos Ogres of Khorne. A fitting Undivided monster would be the Gigantic Chaos Spawn.

Id like to see a wrathmonger lord or hero choice, especially if they add in skarr bloodwrath. However i think it will be arbaal and then skulltaker as FLC if they copy ToD format which would be great.
I think they could add some kind of rune system like the Dawi's, instead of magic for Khorne. Just like his army ability that summons the giant sword. They could have some things like that instead of magic, 1 or 2 damaging and then the rest could be buffs to make them even stronger in melee.
i think Arbaal could collect gifts of chaos perhaps he would earn kills and victory's and wen the bare fills up he gets a random buff and he might have slots like dwarf ruins that he can put them in and his other factions leaders might have them as well and he can gift them to those lords he could also create a large spawn when he is killed in combat he might also have quest chain group like Malakai Makaisson
It’d be nice to have a duel system for Skulltaker since that is his whole schtick. You have the option to fight a lord or legendary lord of a nearby army and if you win against that lord, skulltaker and his army or the faction as a whole gain bonuses. The duel itself would be fought like an actual warhammer battle with skulltaker and the enemy lord or LL in the field plus and dismounted as well
I don't think that the slaughterbrute would rampage unless its bindings somehow broke. the entire point of them is that they are puppeted by their connected character.

Good thoughts. Not being a Khorne fan myself, aside from as an obstacle for heroes to overcome, it never really sunk in that there were even still options that Khorne didn't yet have access to that weren't just other lords.
Shifting my thoughts randomly, while its still in my head... Dogs of War...
I remember thinking, for the Dogs of War, Daniel's customisation would have been fitting for their LL, (or AN LL, if CA do as I've seen quite a few begging and having Morgan Bernhardt as a faction). That way the player was creating their own mercenary force, and certain dilemmas picking what troops you can recruit from amongst every faction - Basically you get to be one of those rogue armies with the army composition that cannot normally be done, with a legendary lord who is fully customisable.

Are you saying that being in force march with Skarbrand and be unable to change it and attack..is not a feature?
I know range is not realy a korne thing but some sort of precusor type "hybrid" unit would be nice. Specufically i think something along the line of the norsca "ranged" infantry, just with less ammo and more melee stats or maybe even in a simmiliar style to exalted plaguebearers.
The closest to your idea of making Khorne Lords/Heroes customizeable that I could see CA doing was letting you recruit different loadputs of Khorne Generals and Heroes- like how Dark Elves can recruit Dreadlords with Sowrd and Shield or Sword and Crossbow. And even that would feel kinda lackluster.
I think the Shamans from WFRP is more likely, and cooler, but that's it's own messy thing. If they can't expand Bretonnia to have Herimmaults, then I dunno if we'll see it.
Also worth noting- Tzaangors don't have the Halberds that most Tzeentch units have, and Peatigors don't have the sword-and-shield that most Nurgle units have. Marked Gors have thus far added variety of weapons and options to their monogod rosters, and I don't think the Khornegors will be different. I think either they're pretty likely to have Halberds just to give Khorne a proper anti-large option.
I think a good idea is using skulls as a means to create advanced structures. That way money is meant for units and initial structures, but skulls are needed to create higher lvl structures for units.
Other thing is having blood armies work like disciple armies of slannesh. Have them need to fight or be in high khorne corruotion to keep from falling apart, but not hurt upkeep. That would save needing to completely redo the economy of khorne and kerp collecting skulls.

They should get the band Korn to promote the Khorne DLC.
they should also get the Big Corn agricultural lobby to come up with a red-colored GMO corn to promote it

Belakor being the only undivided daemon prince was an 8th edition retcon. For 7th, 5th and 5th is was just the first but not the only.
I think a problem with further additions to Khornes roster is that thematically his niche is pretty simple, simple enough that the first couple passes have him adequate choices for all flavors of big stick at all expense tiers. Granted I’m not the biggest war hammer fan in terms of knowing what from the table top could be adapted
Warrior Priest of Khorne are a good call. More axe throwing units? Wish they would make more actual anti-magic/magic immune units rather than crappy spell resistance. Weapons swaps sound dull for lords but ok I guess. God I hope no Beastman DLC - enough Chaos already! Not keen on Skullreapers or the ultra silly wrathmongers. Abrael should auto die if he breaks and and runs though :)
I really hope the Slaughterbrute gets an aura that prevents enemies from using spells around it. Like you can't target anything around it with any magic. Then you could actually bring things like Chosen in multiplayer and protect them from just getting Bjuna'd to death by enemy wizards.

Arbal was around in 4th edition. I have the army book and the model (my brother's actually). I kinda gave up playing sometime in 6th edition but it's so weird to me that some characters who were so prominent back in the day are just minor footnotes to be shat on while others endured.
Please CA no Centigors of Khorne.
For small characters I really want Bertrand the Brigand (LL) with Hugo le Petit (LH) and Guis le Gros (LH) for Bretonnia. Add them and Duke Bohemond the Beastslayer of Bastonne and Duke Theoderic of Brionne as some more nuanced Dukes. Characters like that would give Bretonnia more flavour and some reworks and new units.
I've been putting off a Valkia campaign because I knew they were getting something eventually, so I'm glad this got moved to the forefront, but I do hope we get Slaanesh still. If only because I think High Elves need something to make them more interesting. Specificially the brothers and Alarielle.
From this one, it's the Greenskins I'm most looking forward to.
A little Off topic but do you think *Luthor Harkon* will ever get his anti magic field now that that is an actual effect in TWWH3? (kinda hope they update Vampire coast as a hole in the future)
Also I hope we get some cool khorne deamons... they dont really need any new human infentry since they practically have A+ or S tier infantry.

But yeah, Abaal seems to be the logical pick for a Khorne lord, though I hope he will go into the Khorne faction rather than WoC but we will see. It also helps he has a unique mount in the shape of Khornes Hound, which is supposed to be quite massive compared to the regular Fleshhounds, so he stacks up well next to Tamurkhan. As for his starting location, I do hope it will be in the far south of either Lustria or that Ind gets opened up... though I imagine Cathay will be less than pleased to have yet another powerful Chaos faction to deal with, one that is on the wrong side of the Wall.
I'm thinking for Khorne we get the following;
FreeLC: Skulltaker
LL: Arbaal
LH: Scylla
Generic Lord: Bloodfather
Generic Hero: Slaughter Priest
Units:
- Slaughterbrute
- Chimera
- Juggernaught Chariot (were in concept art and would seem fairly easy)
- Brass Sisters (personal hope but a deserter Flaggalent style unit)
- Khorngors
I agree with a lot of what you said here Nathan, I want Arbaal the undefeated we have been teased for so long about arbaal and I do really like the idea of a slaughter priest( I know that is the AoS term) as a lord and hero variant just to give a small shift in what a khornate leader brings to the table.
Would be nice if CA gave us another option for spending skulls like even how orges spend meat before battle. Allowing you to give more melee attack, charge bonus, speed etc because only having skulls to spend every 15 turns or whatever it is for skull throne and paying for occupying settlements isn't enough. Hell even a forge type thing would be dope for making weapons with skulls.

I think Khorne heroes can have magic without having real magic. For example a whirlwind attack that can be activated or a long jump attack, a battle cry... instead of winds of magic it uses blood and skulls that replenishes as you kill enemy troops.
As Lord I Imagine the Other model version of the Demon Prince with the Big Axe and not Wings. Hero a Khorne Gore Bull. Units maybe The Khornegors , Slaughterbrute , Skullreapers 2 Variants , I hope the Undivided version of the Khorne warriors mission ( same style as the other faction but with the same idea they did for Slaanesh Marauders )and the rest probably the Chariot of Khorne ( we have already the Model in the Draw at the beginning of the game) the last I believe will be some Norsca or Beastman Variant.
I assume we will probably get Slaanesh next time considering the first 3 DLCs (not including CoC and CD which were both focused on a single faction) each featured one of the mono gods. Realistically, that means the 4th will be Slaanesh + 2 other factions... guessing Vampires (since we got Dwarfs, Orcs and Empire in the first 3 so rounding out mono gods AND Warhammer 1 races with the 4th DLC would make sense) and one other faction... maybe Monkey King?

Funnily enough Slaughterbrutes are mentioned in Throgg's diplomacy lines. So maybe they can be added to Norsca too or just to Throgg
So we know that the game plan for a dlc focused on the mono-gods has not been scrapped. What I think happened with the Slaanesh DLC was they probably made it in a similar way to the Changeling. A campaign that you play once and doesn't have much freedom. I think we are getting the Khorne DLC to satisfy us while they rework the Slaanesh DLC.
I hope they will bring the khorne minotaurs to the beastmen roaster.
And the god touched gors must be at one level with the bestigors!
Would it make sense to maybe make Skullreapers be a hero? Maybe even like the buffing hero?
When did the slaughterpriest come out? Could they use that for the generic Lord/Hero of Khorne?
For the lords I’d say we’re probably gonna get something along the warrior priest line. A likely name for the lord would be something like slighter priest, and for the hero something like blood priest would work. And if they add skull reapers that’s probably the mode they’ll take inspiration from the most, and skar would make a decent hero I know he’s technically a lord but characters have been upgraded and downgraded thru out the history of the game so I doubt that would make a impact on CA that much. Otherwise yeah cyla is probably the pick.
I really think it should be Vampire counts, Vamp Coast and Tomb Kings. Then Wood Elves and Norsca. That's probibly all I need.

A Khornate cultist unit could be a fun option? They could be pretty good in melee (if left alone), but would be pretty squishy (more so than marauders). They would stand out by having unbreakable and could be act as flanker unit for Khornate armies.
Cultists of Khorne already exist.
My suspicion was that the Chimera would be the centerpiece monster added along with Slaanesh’s DLC. Just because Slaanesh doesn’t really have a massive monster to bring, and the Chimera can kind of slot in anywhere.
I think that going into the WH Roleplay sourcebooks for additional content would be a good idea since Cubicle 7 have done very good job with aditional generic character options. Also I think that Khorngors are not really a valuable addition because I can't see what role they would fill on the battlefield... maybe if they could be anti large 🤔
Arbaal for Khorne and Egrimm van Horstmann for Tzeentch would be great adding some more Chaos Warrior Legendary Lords. Then Slaanesh man I can’t wait for their DLC.
Crying in Slaanesh not getting the DLC yet… However maybe that means we will get something along the line of Slaanesh, Vampire counts and an elf faction? Like Dechalaa the denied one for Slaanesh, Neferatta for the vamps and maybe a high elf or a Dark elf involved in trying to destroy the cult of pleasure present in both the dark elf lands and Ulthuan ?
Man i really didn't expect to see Ork in this new DLC. I mean, they fit the theme perfectly, just really didnt expect it at all.
