He then gets 2 remora triggers and draws and it just so happens that 1 of those 2 cards was force of will. That's some shuffle luck there.
True true. One of a number of things I lucked out on that game, most notably Dylan answering the Razaketh which I'm pretty sure I couldn't have stopped at that moment
Considering the set is the brothers war, i think you need to have Urza and Mishra st the table. Doesn't matter which version, but both should be represented

Hella spicy plays here, this was a bit of an arm wrestle, you love to see it, especially if you're Tyler. Also, my 2.5yo son would like details for your dogs' litigation team. There are many things for which he would like to be absolved of blame.
Suggestions for Brother's War talking points that I've seen: One card that stands out is Thran Vigil for decks that want to assemble a persist sacrifice loop for a wincon, which is a cheaper and more effective way I think than any previous ways in black decks without white or green. Might be awesome with Yawg decks. Fallaji Archaeologist is kind of like an Augur of Bolas except it also fills your graveyard, and can draw you any noncreature spell, dunno if any decks are looking for that effect but for 2 mana and a body, any breach decks can make use of it I feel. Though I don't think I've ever seen Strategic Planning used in cEDH. Arcane Proxy's prototype is possibly really efficient at casting some strong spells from the graveyard like the suspend cards, though I can't think of any that immediately stand out as game winning. Might be part of a Gale deck. Haywire Mite is like Caustic Caterpillar which I don't know if it sees any play, but being able to exile cards like Breach seems relevant for any green decks that want to have modality with exiling artifact/enchantment based wincons.
Dylan had multiple opportunities to capitalize and failed to. Also having grinding station allows him to wish with the talisman and sacrifice it in response so it doesn’t shift control.
For the commander game, I would probably have one of them be The Archimandrite. Advisors, Artificers, and Monks are pretty strong creature types, and the commander lends himself pretty well to a Stax deck.
I freaking love your guys’ content. I can’t get enough! I would love to see an episode where you guys do a “why Kinnan is good in CEDH.” I thought the Jeskai/Blood pod episodes were rad. Would love to get Tyler specific opinions on certain cards. Guy definitely knows his stuff!

Nah man I'm just a monster. One Patreon playday I was like "you know, I want to resolve ad naus in kinnan. I'm gonna try perplexing chimera for the memes." We film on Sundays so usually I'm coming from church nah just kidding magic is all the church I need and I'm just a weirdo and wear button downs like half the time for no reason
Hermit Druid trying to force his win through two blue players especially with one of them being kinnan is a prime example of cedh. If someone letting someone draw insane cards as well as sucking interaction and giving the game away to the next player in order. Also the big debate of how hard should you push a win, perhaps it’s better to hold back if you get stopped once or twice just so you don’t punt the game
Pasting because there's a few comments on this Chimera can steal any spell, which makes it act like a counter that can hit anything so it blanks a bunch of other cards. While Kinnan does also want to cast spells (and therefore doesn't really want an opposing chimera once you trade it), it can basically win just on kinnan and thrasios activations, so giving the chimera to someone else hurts it much less in late game than any other deck - and giving it away means it's still on the board. If it's still on the board, it's still stopping 2/3 of my opponents from winning - and I still may be able to get it back (I run homeward path, crop rot, gilded drake, chain of vapor, unsubstantiate). If they trade for the spell... I still get the chimera back. But the vast majority of the time, it just sits on the board and says "don't cast good spells."
Tyler is that guy who always asks the teacher if there is homework. Great game! It's hard to force interactions when the control player has Rhystic Study / Mystic Remora in play.

In regards to the top 10, I can name a few cards, but honestly, most of this set power seems to be mainly in the command zone. Meticulous Excavation, one mana one card combo with dockside. Machine Over Matter is more or less an objective upgrade to Alchemist's Retrieval in Shorikai decks. That's all I can think of honestly. Honorable mentions to Sardian Avenger, I think some people may test him out to see how he stops treasure combos, but honestly, I don't think the loss of life he provides is enough to stop anyone from winning beyond exactly Korvold and even then I think it would be somewhat weak. I.e. an ok card that people will overhype for a month but probably isn't playable in cedh.
So like... yes, but with the way the board state already was a deflecting swat is pretty significant. Also chimera can steal things like naus and creatures which deflecting swat can't, so it blanks a bunch of other cards.
