@@the_UF365 thank you, that's such a sweet reply!!! One of the most important scenes with Stevonnie for me, as a Trans woman, is them shaving. It's the first time I think in a all of media that a femme-leaning character's body gets shown having a messy unshaven face when appropriate (being in a jungle). Stevonnie is the ultimate example of a gender queer character that represents a lot of our experiences.
When i was a kid I just thought that stevonnle was the fusion of Steven and Connie and that's it because i didn't knew intersex people exist, and now that i am older i discovered that stevonnie is intersex
I know fusions are always roughly a size comparable to both individuals together, but if we think about Connie and Steven being the little kids they are in this situation, it doesn’t make sense for either of them to be growing facial hair individually, so maybe for them it’s like their ages are being added? I have no idea why that would be. I’d be interested to see how big Stevonnie would get as they grew up.
@CarouselofStars Steven is 14 pushing 15 by the time Jungle moon comes around and Stevonnie feels older, considering they have the experience of 2 young teens in them. Plus, Steven's body responds to how old he feels on a consistent basis, so it would make sense that they'd have to shave, I suppose. That's just my theory.
@@the_UF365 If that is the case, and Stevonnie really is an early teen who just happens to look like that, they’d be absolutely HUGE by the time they were an adult.
@CarouselofStars I mean, Garnet's pretty huge in comparison to her 2 counterparts and so is Opal. Man, now I wanna look up Stevonnie as a full on adult now and see if there's non-gross fanart of that. Thanks for bringing that up 😁

i genuinely thought it was a fringe headcanon, it's canon??? that's awesome
@@dexicoma It was confirmed in a Dove commercial instead of the actual show, which does suck, but it's nice to know the coding was there for a REASON.

I like how every steven fusion is a being who talks like two separate people.
The survivor intro 😂

YO THE FIRST TRANSITION WAS GOLD
I’m so sorry I don’t even watch Steven universe at all but I do just watch random clip shows because why not but I legitimately had my mouth agape when I saw a community clip
"Purity that demands exclusion... isn't real purity🤔"
Its so nice to see other intersex people depicted in media :] it makes me happy...
Wish it was represented more, tbh. Due to the bible's chokehold on how society views things as ONLY a gender binary, the physical proof that the creator(s) of the universe build people different needs to be discussed at large more. You guys deserve better than all the neglect and indifference people give you as people :). You, just like Stevonnie, are a fascinating experience.
@@the_UF365 thank you, that's such a sweet reply!!! It's definitely one of the many things I wish was represented more, and I agree that a lot of the miss and under representation of intersex-ness is inherently tied to the Christian values of the west. I hope that one day there will be a world where everyone will feel free to be as authentic to themselves as they can be,,, and I hope that perhaps it'd be in my life time ♡ I hope you have a lovely day friend :]

@@Mrepic824 It was a once in a lifetime transition, to be sure😅
As someone who is Omnigender this is so relatable I have big Boobs tall with broad shoulders and pink haired legs. Like this is probably why I have a figure of Stevonnie on my shelf fr fr. Like I don’t think I realized it but I kinda saw myself in them. Also the fact that it’s cannon I didn’t even remember in that video. Also I always ohh and ahhed as a tween when I saw them fr fr.

@@cashbanucita0025 Certified truth spitter right ere.
They are a SNS user, they deserve my respect.
@@the_UF365 Good point!
