The reason I think Angel stands out is because he understands the balance between shred and melody. He creates amazing melodies, but will astound you with his skill.
I agree. You can tell by the intensity of the volume per instrument. Nothing is overpowered so that you can hear everything.

One thing I've noticed about guitarists who try to make technical music like this, is that they end up just making random notes mashed together. But this dude pieces it all together and it makes sense and tells a story in your head. Love it

Story time!
So! The first time I heard this song was on UA-cam Music a few months back, and that’s where I heard this song for the first time, and then I couldn’t find it! It was stuck in my head for the next 2-3 weeks, and I was doing everything in my power to find it.
One night before I went to bed, I got the idea to whistle end of the intro (which was the part of the song I had stuck in my head), and found THIS! It was right under my nose the whole time, because I listen to your music FREQUENTLY. So there I was laying in bed, at peace, knowing that I had finally found this song! 😂

guitar skills, yes. I make the comparison because EVH inspired generations of guitarist. Angel isn't what would be considered main-stream. Everyone knows of EVH, but only certain people recognize how talented Angel Vivaldi is due to how music is today.

What i like about angels music is that anyone can shred and play fast and learn the arpeggios and scales and just constantly try to be faster than the next guy. But alot of angels stuff is really catchy and has alot of feel. I can tell he doesnt try to be the next yngwie malmsteen and plays whats fun for him to play. And for that I thank you. Just got to know this album of yours. The playing is exquisite, and the guest appearance of the best guitarist from my country is the only moment this music touches the ground with his amazing contribution. You are soulful and etheral, yet aggressive at the right moment. A great chapter in contemporary instrumental music.

Just saw him live Thursday with Nita Strauss. Show was fantastic, sound was great for such a small venue, and they stayed and greeted everyone after. I was nervous and making no sense talking to him. I told him a funny story but I think he thought it was weird. :P
