apocalypse high I once saw a lady get a footlong bacon and mayonnaise flatbread. Bacon and mayonnaise only. It was at a Walmart Subway.
Kyle J Brekke i get a slightly wierd look when i say this. *Extra Extra Extra Pickles.* i dont say this because they dont give enough, i do this because, if i had my way, every time we went shopping i would buy 3 jars of pickles. i REALLY like pickles.
and everything else is good.
When they ask you what kind of cheese you want *way* before they get to it. Then they ask you again because they forgot.
When I _don't_ get my sandwich toasted but STILL have to wait for the indecisive fuck behind me.
When there's another employee in the back doing god-knows-what while the line stacks up.
You say Subway is an inconvenience, until you go there and order the same thing three months in a row. Then you become me, able to walk into the Subway and they literally have the sub already made and waiting for me. And everyone in line just looks at you like "Who is this guy? Is he famous or something?" and I just walk to the front of the line and pay for it with just my Subway card, and they give me my receipt and tell me "You have 1504 points left." And I take my seat as everyone whispers "Holy fuck, did you hear how many points he has!?"
My meal tastes all that much sweeter.

***** I worked for like a week at an Italian Coffee (which is basically like Starbucks) in a little obscure ass town, and the manager there literally knew what every one of the customers there wanted because everyday the same people came in and ordered the same thing at the same hour. It was kinda depressing tbh

The end of that Subway rant reminds me of that one time I went to IHOP and ordered pancakes with a side of chicken strips. The judgy look on the waitress' face pissed me off so much. It's your job to take my damn order, not fuckin' judge me for it!

I actually can't stand his singing voice. He has good baritone notes but when he goes higher it sounds so whiny and nasal. It's terrible

The Sonic 3 series was the best. Just solid great moments all the way through.
i still love the subway rant, except one part is kind of your fault right at the beginning, you can't go into a subway and say "i want a chicken tariyaki yatta yatta yatta.... on flatbread", the very first words out of your mouth each time should be A. the kind of bread you want, and B.the size of the bread. if you say anything else, they are going to ignore every part before the bread, so by putting the bread type at the end of your description you are essentially asking to repeat the entire order
they need to make the sandwhich very methodically, and the base of the sandwhich is the bread, so first you discuss which bread and how long it should be, after they have the bread then you can start talking about what goes on it
jetkirby In my city they ask what you want, then they proceed to ask you in which bread you want it and so on.
They also ask you, if you want what you asked for made in the way it's "recommended" so if you say yes, that's it.

My speakers have been broken for more than a month-- the audio is all pushed to the right speaker. I've just kind of accepted it (it's my fault for kicking the wire around so many times) but for some reason... while they were talking about the abs and the really loud "MORE ABS" came in, my left speaker suddenly burst in with the beautifully balanced audio I have dearly missed. I feel like I just got a hearing aid for the first time. My whole left side is tingly now, it has been blessed with the vibrating glory of sound. I've reached enlightenment.
Yeah so I was going to play Terraria, since I last paused in the middle of the Lunar Event.
But this is more important.

ok, the Subway story was funny, but i've never had a bad experience at a Subway. ever. okay, there were two Subways i didn't like, but other than that, i've loved every Subway i've been to

As someone who worked at Subway, you were pretty spot on with a lot of what you said...however we are trained to do that. I worked at a location that when it was busy, it was extremely busy, and when it was slow, it was SO slow, so we were taught and learned to take care of multiple people at the same time. Also there's a specific amount of the veggies we can put on, so that person who overloaded on spinach was in the wrong. You put on the amount and if they ask for more, you give them more. Also not everyone gets the flatbreads toasted, some prefer it not, which is weird, so that's why we ask.
This was not a rant, as I worked there I can agree it's pretty stupid, but it's what we were trained.
Barry's drum solo gets me everytime.
