Your ideas and style of presentation is Excellent
Using glossy materials such as Tiles etc not recommended for TV Unit, this makes you uncomfortable while watching TV with lights on during evening as the lights in the room reflect on the background of TV, so I highly recommend to use louvers/charcoal wall panels or simple matt finish laminates on ply instead of glossy light colored/marble style tiles. Make sure backside of TV is of darker shade, you can use light coloured storage unit below. Let me know your thoughts
