@@wheelersecuritygroup yes I do. I use both but the H8 has 10 watts vs 5watts on the H3. The H8 has a wider range mic gain. I run my H8 on 25 setting fyi. The H8 can just feels like a better radio. Great audio speaker and transmit audio. The H3 however does have more frequencies such as AM receive. I would say get both. The H3 is only 30 bucks. So it's not gonna break the bank. If you're going to use the radios to try and reach repeaters definitely get the H8. This would actually be a good video to do. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. But yes just get both but start with the H8 imo.
@@wheelersecuritygroup the only reason I would get the H3 really is to pair it with the small stubbie tidradio antenna and you have something that will fit in your pocket but it's only good for much closer communication. Short range. But with the stock antenna it would work fine for other purposes as well. I'll do a video to compare them. Good luck.
