Alexa; Debuted last month, has one video for her song called 'Bomb' which is awesome (IMO). The kicker here is that she's from Tulsa. Non-Rookies Dreamcatcher: So good that their management company changed its name to Dreamcatcher Entertainment (was Happyface Ent.). This group has a rock edge to their music, which I like. You should watch their videos in release order because they tell an ongoing story, a somewhat dark and creepy story. Start with 'Chase Me' and 'Good Night' and go from there. I was going to add (G)I-dle, but then I remembered that you watched Queendom. You probably already know about them. Loona; A 12 member girl group with amazing vocals and their dancing is on point. Their synchronization is really very impressive, considering the number of people in the group. They've also done dance covers to BTS's 'Fire' and NCT's 'Cherry Bomb' (among others). The Soloists Chung Ha; Just an all around good performer. 'Gotta Go' and 'Snapping' are her 2 latest videos and they are both very good. Have you seen the times when the sound system fails at their shows and they get the crowd chanting until the technical crew can get it back on? Three shows a day in peak season, they have learned to hold the crowd in their hand on the best and worst day. They are some of the hardest working professionals ever, and it shows. They take nothing for granted and paradoxically enough that is how they appear to own everything.
Heading into Queendom, they just wanted to perform well for their fans & have fun, but you could tell from MMM's reaction, winning Queendom really meant a lot to them.It's such a great time to be a fan. Can't wait for their comeback special!

They are so captivating, and their vocals are obviously amazing as always. When you think they can't possibly get even better, they do! They get on stage and they own it, they take over. Mamamoo tore the Stage, and Everytime they perform they tore my soul as well. I think Queendom is going to be like a guide of how to perform to all new traines, because all the groups and Park Boom put something in their performances; a must do or must try to all the Girl Groups out there. Is always good to see the born of a new Moomoo.

I was also spoiled waiting for the eng subs video. I agreed with everything you said about the performance and also (G)I-dle's Lion in particular was really good. I highly recommend watching the full cam version on Mnet channel for this and (G)I-Idle. You really get to see how hard the back up dancers are working. Fun fact, the female MC Lee Dahee is a self proclaimed Moomoo. I read she posted a picture of a signed radish lightstick on her instagram awhile back. She's and Moonbyul had conversations and that's why the hug between the two was special.
oh geez, the dahee/moonbyul instagram interactions have been killing fans for a while, esp right when they started... there's a reason international fans have been calling lee dahee the moomoo president, though when she was told about that she said she's not good enough to be the president, just to call her the moomoo unnie (she and byul are also supposed to have a meal together at some point. it's been brought up several times)

been waiting for your reaction video lol I watched the Queendom live broadcast last Thursday. I couldn't stop screaming and shouting during their performance. Gosh I freaking love them. And they freaking slayed it once again. Feel so proud to be a Moomoo.

10 days until the album! and i'm sure it's already been suggested in at least one previous video, but there's always their performance at the 2018 mamas in japan. just make sure you find the 8 minute long upload (or the 11 minute long one, which includes them accepting awards, if you want) since mnet themselves only ever uploaded their performance in segments of about 2 minutes each... (on top of a lot of other annoyances. hopefully they'll get treated better this year, including an actual dressing room...) and then on solar tripping... i swear she's got a penchant for that in this show, since she slipped in the "good luck" performance, too (actually aggravating her slipped disc, which is why they only had moonbyul and hwasa for parts of some episodes). thankfully this one didn't seem to hurt her, so i jokingly say the slip was because she was the only one not wearing boots... she went with regular heels while the other three wore what appear to be identical heeled boots, though you could only really see wheein's with their outfit designs

the same reaction I had the first time watching it!! I was so excited like .. okay Idol and OMG had great songs with amazing performances! their dances with their backup dancers, the concept and everything. But mannn NO ONE I repeat NO ONE own the stage like mamamoo!! they don't have to prepare aything incredible, the song, the outfits and the choreo all was simple yet, THE FREAKING OWNED THE STAGE!! They just have to bring their vocals and their PRESENCE!! and that's all. mamamoo really deserve to be first at everything, I've never seen such perfect performances! and I can't wait for the comeback, they're already driving me crazy with the teasers!

Couple of thoughts: You should check out the preview for their Gogobebe album. The four of them just sat in chairs and sang snippets of each song a capella. They were spot-on every time. Most of the comments said something like, "Mamamoo just flexed on the whole K-Pop industry." Two: The streaming of their song probably put them over the top. 400K to 250K is a huge difference. Three: You have to give OMG & (G) Idle credit for keeping it close. Pretty much everyone expected Mamamoo to win, from the reactions I saw. It was almost but not quite a foregone conclusion that they were going to come out on top. I honestly felt a little sorry for the other groups going against Mamamoo.
I think what makes mmm special is the way they always connect to their fans and audience. They make time to involved the audience, be it urging them to jam along, eye contact, talking to them, their adlibs (i miss their adlibs!!) Even that one perf of Hwasa with Kei, she wasn't happy with it until they connect with their fans. In MMMs mind, the performance is for the people. Also, once the comeback drops it's over for us* bebes. *Us and our wallets 😂
its okay jen, I know it is very saddening when you worked hard editing the video and then it didnt work out as you wanted to, but, still I really enjoyed watching your reaction and still can feel the excitement as when I was watching the live show. I was also tearing up on Hwasa’s part, even though I’m still a new Moomoo since their Egotistic era, but I began searched any that related to them, and it makes me so into Mamamoo. They are really well deserved and to look back from how they started their journey, it is just amazing. They build up their own way, path and genuine music. Now, I am so so glad that many people began to recognize their talent. right now, I really can’t wait for their comeback and also your reaction ! Looking forward to it jen ! 😁
Thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts and feelings about Mamamoo. You're such a good moomoo with your love for the girls and respect & support for all the artists. This performance isn't as simple as people are saying but because they were subtle about it I think it's largely gone unnoticed, which unfortunately is typical of the way MMM's artistry is overlooked and underappreciated by the GP. Imo they incorporated the symbolic elements so smoothly into the choreo that they slip into our subconscious like a pebbles dropping into a well, where they resonate emotionally without us being aware of what happened. I'm sure I bore the hell out of moomoos with my theories and interpretations so I'll just say that I think we should connect the dots between the beginning with the heavenly white cowgirls and the black, wraith-like dancers, Hwasa calling them forth from the dead and/or distant past, Solar arriving like an angel flying in to join her, and the final iconic pose that looks like a piece of classical or religious sculpture from the renaissance. To me that image symbolizes love and unity, bonding together to face the future bravely. I think Destiny blends the mythology of the American West with the Korean belief in fated relationships through multiple lives.

I was obsessed with Destiny until the teasers started to drop and then got re-obsessed as they went through the MMMMultiverses and the members converged in the final teaser of each universe. I think Destiny is the pre-release theme song just like Paint Me was for the 4S4C project. The Queendom performance should be called Destined To Be Mamamoo. This concept is looking like a sci-fi version of a time-spanning kdrama where the four fated souls endure tragedy and separation through multiple lives and finally join together to fulfill their Destiny to Bless Life and Carry Knowledge as Mamamoo. They're f-ing killing me. This album is going to be so good it's scary. 😱

I gotta admit, I watched it live and I was afraid like hell of OMG winning, I mean, Mamamoo did great but OMG and G-idle's performances literally won the round, but due to Mamamoo's consistency through the show and how great moomoos did on charts, so kept my hopes up. But when they won, geez I freaked out so badly 😂😂😂 I just couldn't contain my happiness. I just love seeing the girls happiness.

It was 7am but I managed to watch it live. Waiting for the MCs to announce who won, my heart was pounding SO HARD! They said Mamamoo, and was literally jumping around my room😅! I don't get emotional easily, and rarely does seeing Mamamoo cry make me cry as well because of that, but seeing Hyejin struggle to finish her speech had me crying with her.😭😭
And the Solar tripping part, I hadn't even noticed until someone else pointed it out. I did notice the part right after it looked like her and Byul almost ran into each other, but I hadn't thought much of it. Turns out it was cause the trip messed with Yong's timing just a little bit😅
Aww Thank you for continuously trying to upload this this performance was beautiful as was your reaction. I think all the participating groups got their fair share of criticism and hate throughout the run of the show & I can only hope in the future we can get a show that encourages gg friendships rather than unnecessary competition & forced drama. I enjoyed the performances but I’d rather see more interactions like the workshop for the unit round than the concept of queendom as a whole. the industry pits these women against each other enough as it is. It was heartbreaking to see some of the girls cry when they were chosen “below” another group & that was just cruel to have them announce it in front of each other. I was also spoiled waiting for the eng subs video. I agreed with everything you said about the performance and also (G)I-dle's Lion in particular was really good. I highly recommend watching the full cam version on Mnet channel for this and (G)I-Idle. You really get to see how hard the back up dancers are working. Fun fact, the female MC Lee Dahee is a self proclaimed Moomoo. I read she posted a picture of a signed radish lightstick on her instagram awhile back. She's and Moonbyul had conversations and that's why the hug between the two was special.
oh geez, the dahee/moonbyul instagram interactions have been killing fans for a while, esp right when they started... there's a reason international fans have been calling lee dahee the moomoo president, though when she was told about that she said she's not good enough to be the president, just to call her the moomoo unnie
(she and byul are also supposed to have a meal together at some point. it's been brought up several times)

And yes it's impossible to not appreciate the great effort that every group made, for that it was such a big problematic moment. I was feeling like, nooo oh my girl deserve this but the others too but my moomoo inside me is scratching to see them win the show and that two presenters made me feel so upset for don't telling us who were the winner.... argh I'm really glad that Mamamoo won it but at the same time I feel like all of them are winners to me. I don't know if you felt the same confrotation but welll it was really nice to see you reacting to all of their content. Mamamoo, big artists and they didn't care about rankings... they won and they deserved this

and i'm sure it's already been suggested in at least one previous video, but there's always their performance at the 2018 mamas in japan. just make sure you find the 8 minute long upload (or the 11 minute long one, which includes them accepting awards, if you want) since mnet themselves only ever uploaded their performance in segments of about 2 minutes each... (on top of a lot of other annoyances. hopefully they'll get treated better this year, including an actual dressing room...)
and then on solar tripping... i swear she's got a penchant for that in this show, since she slipped in the "good luck" performance, too (actually aggravating her slipped disc, which is why they only had moonbyul and hwasa for parts of some episodes). thankfully this one didn't seem to hurt her, so i jokingly say the slip was because she was the only one not wearing boots... she went with regular heels while the other three wore what appear to be identical heeled boots, though you could only really see wheein's with their outfit designs

the same reaction I had the first time watching it!! I was so excited like .. okay Idol and OMG had great songs with amazing performances! their dances with their backup dancers, the concept and everything. But mannn NO ONE I repeat NO ONE own the stage like mamamoo!! they don't have to prepare aything incredible, the song, the outfits and the choreo all was simple yet, THE FREAKING OWNED THE STAGE!! They just have to bring their vocals and their PRESENCE!! and that's all.
mamamoo really deserve to be first at everything, I've never seen such perfect performances! and I can't wait for the comeback, they're already driving me crazy with the teasers!

i think Destiny choreo is the hardest choreo that they ever did.
Couple of thoughts: You should check out the preview for their Gogobebe album. The four of them just sat in chairs and sang snippets of each song a capella. They were spot-on every time. Most of the comments said something like, "Mamamoo just flexed on the whole K-Pop industry."
Two: The streaming of their song probably put them over the top. 400K to 250K is a huge difference.
Three: You have to give OMG & (G) Idle credit for keeping it close. Pretty much everyone expected Mamamoo to win, from the reactions I saw. It was almost but not quite a foregone conclusion that they were going to come out on top. I honestly felt a little sorry for the other groups going against Mamamoo.
I think what makes mmm special is the way they always connect to their fans and audience. They make time to involved the audience, be it urging them to jam along, eye contact, talking to them, their adlibs (i miss their adlibs!!) Even that one perf of Hwasa with Kei, she wasn't happy with it until they connect with their fans. In MMMs mind, the performance is for the people.
Also, once the comeback drops it's over for us* bebes.

its okay jen, I know it is very saddening when you worked hard editing the video and then it didnt work out as you wanted to, but, still I really enjoyed watching your reaction and still can feel the excitement as when I was watching the live show.
I was also tearing up on Hwasa’s part, even though I’m still a new Moomoo since their Egotistic era, but I began searched any that related to them, and it makes me so into Mamamoo. They are really well deserved and to look back from how they started their journey, it is just amazing. They build up their own way, path and genuine music. Now, I am so so glad that many people began to recognize their talent.

This performance isn't as simple as people are saying but because they were subtle about it I think it's largely gone unnoticed, which unfortunately is typical of the way MMM's artistry is overlooked and underappreciated by the GP. Imo they incorporated the symbolic elements so smoothly into the choreo that they slip into our subconscious like a pebbles dropping into a well, where they resonate emotionally without us being aware of what happened. I'm sure I bore the hell out of moomoos with my theories and interpretations so I'll just say that I think we should connect the dots between the beginning with the heavenly white cowgirls and the black, wraith-like dancers, Hwasa calling them forth from the dead and/or distant past, Solar arriving like an angel flying in to join her, and the final iconic pose that looks like a piece of classical or religious sculpture from the renaissance. To me that image symbolizes love and unity, bonding together to face the future bravely. I think Destiny blends the mythology of the American West with the Korean belief in fated relationships through multiple lives.

I was obsessed with Destiny until the teasers started to drop and then got re-obsessed as they went through the MMMMultiverses and the members converged in the final teaser of each universe. I think Destiny is the pre-release theme song just like Paint Me was for the 4S4C project. The Queendom performance should be called Destined To Be Mamamoo. This concept is looking like a sci-fi version of a time-spanning kdrama where the four fated souls endure tragedy and separation through multiple lives and finally join together to fulfill their Destiny to Bless Life and Carry Knowledge as Mamamoo. They're f-ing killing me. This album is going to be so good it's scary. 😱

I gotta admit, I watched it live and I was afraid like hell of OMG winning, I mean, Mamamoo did great but OMG and G-idle's performances literally won the round, but due to Mamamoo's consistency through the show and how great moomoos did on charts, so kept my hopes up. But when they won, geez I freaked out so badly 😂😂😂 I just couldn't contain my happiness. I just love seeing the girls happiness.

It was 7am but I managed to watch it live. Waiting for the MCs to announce who won, my heart was pounding SO HARD! They said Mamamoo, and was literally jumping around my room😅! I don't get emotional easily, and rarely does seeing Mamamoo cry make me cry as well because of that, but seeing Hyejin struggle to finish her speech had me crying with her.😭😭
And the Solar tripping part, I hadn't even noticed until someone else pointed it out. I did notice the part right after it looked like her and Byul almost ran into each other, but I hadn't thought much of it. Turns out it was cause the trip messed with Yong's timing just a little bit😅

Aww Thank you for continuously trying to upload this this performance was beautiful as was your reaction. I think all the participating groups got their fair share of criticism and hate throughout the run of the show & I can only hope in the future we can get a show that encourages gg friendships rather than unnecessary competition & forced drama. I enjoyed the performances but I’d rather see more interactions like the workshop for the unit round than the concept of queendom as a whole. the industry pits these women against each other enough as it is. It was heartbreaking to see some of the girls cry when they were chosen “below” another group & that was just cruel to have them announce it in front of each other. Anyway I hope the best for all the groups they are all queens :)

The performance itself should be fine but MNet & other channels won’t allow to upload more than that. I had the same issues months ago with Wheein on King of Masked Singer & got copyright striked instantly. It’s a shame but reactions to these types of shows are really dangerous for reactors. I'm a fan for 10 years and i only like only her in kpop until i accidentally found Mamamoo in 2016 since i love to watch WGM and Solar participate in that variety show.
