    Thank You For Your Feedback #1: The natural response to negative feedback is not “thank you.”
    Thank You For Your Feedback #2: The normal response to negative feedback is to get upset and defensive, even if you only become slightly defensive.
    Thank You For Your Feedback #3: How we react to negative feedback trains people whether will give us negative feedback again.
    Thank You For Your Feedback #4: Resist becoming defensive when receiving negative feedback, no matter how difficult that it is to do.
    Thank You For Your Feedback #5: Instead of becoming defensive when receiving negative feedback, do the opposite of what employees are expecting. Say “thank you” instead. Over time employees will trust that you’re a safe person to whom to give feedback.
