Hello Wow I was hoping no one would ever ask that 🙂 So difficult for me because there are so many. I can like a Sailor EF, a diplomat M (very opposite nib), a visconti or an Asvine pen etc... In a general way, I'm trying to dodge the question, because I could consider half of my collection as "favorite", ready to go with any of them and completely happy. Additionally, many people then could conclude what is for example my favourite kind of nibs. What I prefer in pens is to adapt myself to the pen, and just like it for all the positive it brings to me. It means : what are my favourite pens ... in which fields ? So many parameters, my "favourite" can change depending on what I need at one moment. ex/ I can like a pen for the look, and find the nib just OK. I can like a nib and the pen looks just OK. ex/ I need to write in a small space or I have all the room I need. ex/ I need to travel (plane). etc.... It is infinite. Yet, even if I'm not a huge fan of "my best pen is ....", let's say: we are at the end of the year, I will try to propose few video about my favorite pens (hum) beg. of next year.
You made the statement. The pen is beautiful, I personally like that ink window. But this pen and its hammered brother aren't worth the money. I'm not sure if the current prices reflecting only the greed of dealers or if it's the retail price Majohn forced by a high wholesaler price. The V16 is the better alternative and on my list but I'll wait a few more month, waiting if retail prices cool down. Your 45 Euros bargain shows what is possible and I don't believe this particular dealer made a loss. Anyway, anotheer detailed and well made review.
Excellent review. I see in your commentary; in the conclusion; that you prefer Asvine pens. Specifically, do you prefer the J16 to this Majohn pen? They have a lot in common; on the surface. A comparison video would be interesting.
Thank you. I'm preparing the J16 review which will be a bit special (and long) because I've replaced the nib ... I've not planned a comparison, but let's modify a bit things then: I will add a 1 or 2mn comparison at the end of the video. My opinion is simple and clear: I prefer the J16. Just the price, the Majohn price is 50% higher than the Asvine price, and absolutely nothing can justify this.
Excellente revue!
@17:36 -> now you could add the J16. (The video itself was finished before I own the J16)
Hello my friend , could you in the future , make a video of your favourite nibs and pens ?🖖🖖🖖
