A lot of cloud companies use the airport code for their data centers. Like SYD2, SYD7, IAD1, IAD9, or LON3-6. Funny story: a group of four data centers in Dallas are on the same property, but not the same building. So when you want a DC tech to go change out 50 failed drives, you gotta check which building it's in, and if it's not the one with the parts crib, and it's raining, they have to get a truck to move them. Can't use the golf cart which is what they normally used to get between buildings.
I used to prefer Dulles over Reagan but as traffic got hellacious, I would only go if the price was worth it. Now they have a metro line going to Dulles so I may start flying into Dulles again as it was usually slightly cheaper than Reagan.
DEN was the code for Stapleton International Airport in Denver. In 1995 the new Airport was designated DIA. DEN is not the code for Denver International. DIA is.

The stars were in alignment and there was no traffic on a Sunday morning. I actually got her there in ten minutes. So ... Check and double check your tickets and ask questions!
Ironies of all ironies is both Dulles (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA) are located in Virginia. Thurgood Marshall BWI near Baltimore is actually the ideal airport in the region.
Interesting. Especially since DCA, or Reagan National Airport, only goes a certain amount of miles and only in the USA. Dulles flies everywhere in the Americas and Europe. Also, it's well over an hour drive in the afternoon from Reagan to Dulles if you mess up.
They are pretty close to each other, so I guess worse comes to worse, if you did show up to the airport early you can make it to the other place with an Uber in about 30 minutes...

Orlando International Airport used to be McCoy Air Force Base before being converted to commercial use. They just never changed the code from its military days. McCoy - MCO.
It depends on where you are going in the DC area. If you are going to DC itself it is closer. But I go to Bethesda, MD and find Dulles easier to get to.
