Cribbage is magical and goes everywhere. I am currently in 5 asynchronous Cribbage games on BGA right now and a few a sync playes of Paperback 2. I need to get Bannangrams it is available at B&N and Target. House rule for Scable = words must be 3 letters or more.
Cribbage is so simple and fun! And 3 letters? But I studied all those words 🤣

You two are just so wonderful! I am always smiling while watching your videos. We just got back from camping and we have a pop up camper as well! It was pretty windy here and we wanted to play Dead Man's Draw (card game) so we set up inside at the table. It was nice to have that option. Thank you for the game ideas to just leave inside the camper, we'll do that! One of our favorite games is Euchre. Fun trick taking came where you are teamed up with one other player (4 total people) and you have to win 3 out of the 5 tricks. Just need one deck of cards. Super fun! This is a great series idea - several people have been asking about travel games lately on Reddit. Thank you again!
Thank you so much! 🧡 That inside table is a necessity when it get too buggy or rainy! I think euchre has some similarities to Pinochle. I will have to check it out!
Palm Island has been my go-to game to play at/on the beach for a few years now! There are actually a couple of 2 player variants - it’s mostly multiplayer solitaire, but the co-op version in particular you need to work together to overcome disasters like hurricanes, famine, and a volcano eruption that threaten your island civilizations.
I've been having so much fun with it! I will have to let Billie know that she actually can play with me 😂 Thanks!!
Love camping anywhere in New England but I haven’t gone much since getting into gaming. Next time I will definitely be bringing the Button Shy games I won!!
Rhode Island is my favorite place to camp but anywhere up in New England is just lovely. Your games are on their way! Hope you enjoy them!

It's a classic. Easy to find rules online too
We love camping but usually end up staying in a cabin because husband don't like sleeping in a tent. Always have palm island, my button shy bag full with doom machine, orchard, circle the wagon, tussie mussie, death valley, and more, uno cards, waterproof playing cards, rummikube, and dice to play all sorts of games
Cabins definitely count! My sister and I sometimes stay in a cabin if we're running away for a gaming/knitting weekend. Waterproof cards are a great idea. I think we have a waterproof UNO deck in the camper.
Camping is most definitely not for us. We went once years ago (tent camping). I think we should have known something was up since we were the only ones in a tent, all the other campers had RVs. When we were finally going to go to bed we started hearing a bunch of howling. When I tell you we all got up, packed up our stuff and quickly got out of there and ended up at a questionable motel. It's one of those funny now moments but scary as hell at the time.

Batman love letter and mint works is the games we always by campfire. Because it fit on our cooler.
Cooler sized games are hard to come by!
Next month we are camping at Shawnee state park in PA. Some nice parks in NY are Allegeny state park, Letchworth state park and Hamlin Beach state park.
Shawnee like near the skiing? I never thought to look around there. Always fun to find new places to camp!

Wow, I've always wanted to go camping and have an experience such as a cougar nosing around the campsite (and live to tell the tale of course!).
Last time I went on holiday (we stayed in an old-timey house, so a far cry from camping!) I took 'The Lost Expedition', 'OK Play' and 'Herd Mentality'. Needless to say, Herd Mentality was the unanimously favoured game and once the cards ran out we came up with our own questions; it rather turned into a battle of Who-Gets-The-Most-Inside-Jokes.
Also, my copy of Grove (the sequel to Orchard) has been shipped and I am super keen to gets my mitts on it and play. I have a feeling it's the type of game that would be great for camping trips too.
I have always dreamed of being that spontaneous type that plays solo card games while waiting in line! Unfortunately, the very thought makes my soul scream in horror. There's no way I could concentrate on cards with my mind wildly alert to everything else going on around me. I feel like a rebel just glancing at my phone on the bus xD Baby-steps.
I can't wait to play Grove! I don't think mine has shipped yet. Playing a game standing in line is not always the best plan but every now and then it can work.
Careful with the RV comments. 😊 When we camp we microwave popcorn and play games like Castles of Burgundy, Viticulture, and Cascadia. And we camp,every day.

I would play scrabble with you! Learning the two and three letter words is smart, not cheating. No one says chess players who have learned play sequences are cheating. They are considered experts and champions.
