Thank you Jase for mentioning "The Chosen." I am also a huge fan. It is so wonderful seeing the story being told showing the humanity of each individual who was part of the greatest story ever told.
I have to remind you it's a man's construct so I have to stop complaining out loud when it doesn't exactly match up with the Bible. I always have been a stickler for details! Hubby has his hands full with me but I try to stay silent LOL! He's used to it. I respect him like no other & I love being in submission to his guidance cause I know God's in every decision

My husband passed away Saturday, ive been laying in bed weeping , listening to the Robertson's and this episode made me LOL jase saying he looked like a carnie, scruffy! Have you looked in the mirror? Hahah I think your all handsome under the homeless look. Like look at Allan and Willie when they cleaned up? So handsome! And flea markets are a blast!

The flea market in Canton, TX is called First Monday. Its amazing!
You can find anything at First Monday if you’re willing to look for it. It started because farmers would trade stuff on the first Monday of the month and grew from that. Been going on for well over a hundred years.

1st Monday - Canton TX. Every month on the weekend before the First Monday of the month. While part of it is like a big garage sale, the majority of it is a medium for hundreds of small vendors to sell their items - from food to crafts to resale.
Jase was with my cousin at the event in Canton. He works for Garrett and we are from the Canton area. The event is called First Monday.

Wow... I'm in April with my brothers Phil and Si 🤗 🎂 I'm April 10th and the rest of the family is the 25th, 2on the 26th and the 30th. Eating birthday cake becomes a chore, not a treat 🤢
I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Canton with a big truck and I've always wanted to get into metal detecting. I like digging in the dirt and I love finding free goodies in the ground which I've actually done while digging in my garden... Before I lost my garden anyway.
Someday someone will find my gold heart locket buried in the yard where I lost it. I think that was one of the reasons why I brought my Dad's metal detector home with me. Now I don't know what happened to it but I think one of my sons has it. I gotta get it back. I think it would be great exercise too. Sounds like loads of fun to me.

I got saved on April 24 in 1974, so I thought “my born again birthday is the same as Phil’s birthday!” I was 21 and got saved during Jesus Movement. My high school boyfriend went from College Station, Texas our hometown to Los Angeles on a bus and had been witnessed to and got saved. I heard on the phone the wonderful change in him and a month later I drove to Los Angeles and prayed with his sister and asked Jesus in my heart. It was the best birthday ever in this life❤️

First Monday in Canton every month, whenever there is a first Monday of the month. It is that weekend. Like May 1-3 this next month
The Canton flea market is called first Monday trade days, which is open the first weekend before the first Monday of each month.
World Famous First Monday Trades Day held the first Monday Weekend of every month. It's history is rich and is very interesting. I live about 30 miles from there in Gun Barrel City. Thank you for the podcast and all you do for the Kingdom.

Thanks for sharing that Jesus was working and expended much human energy while on the earth. He did so much more than was recorded. Jase, I’ve raised the bar... I’m reading the Gospel according to John on a regular basis. Weekly, I don’t know but your comment encouraged . Thanks Phil, Alan and Jase for relaying how you explain the gift of Jesus and the Resurrection and the hope to others . I’m bookmarking this one for sure .

HE PUT US IN OUR MOTHERS WOMB, HE FORMED US, HE HAS GIVEN US A PURPOSE FOR LIFE! Hallelujah! I love y'all! My sister that died 3 - 21 -21 would have been 81 on April 24, 2021. But she's walking The Streets of Gold with Jesus now! I will see her one day!

I like fleemarkets and I’ve been to Canton several times. It’s a good place to get used tools and they always have weapons and swords and such.
I think you learn each time you read a verse I know I've read some verse it depends on how I feel about it that day

I lost my best friend of 8 years she had her granddaughter I helped since she was a infant it's been 6 years my heart is hurting it's hard I get on my needs every night and pray to my king and my father it still hurts I loved them

Thank you for the podcast! My boyfriend and I have been listening to your podcast lately and I have a question. There is someone I know who smokes weed and I ask them why they do so. Their answer is always God put it here for us to smoke it. I know that God put it here to help people with pain and etc; but the devil also deceive people to think that it is ok to smoke weed and get high for pleasure. My question is how can I tell them that they need to stop smoking weed because it is a sin. Where should I study in the Bible for that answer? I know Phil used to smoke weed, how did you finally say that’s it this sin will no longer take over me any longer. Can you please talk about this in a future podcast this person does listen to your name podcast also. Thank you!

A flea market is not only composed of “junk” there are also things like canned goods that people can things that people grow in their garden and crafts that people make for sale so if we market is not just junk it’s also some new things some handmade things some homemade things such as jellies and pies and breads y’all need to go to one one time

Phil, honest question. Is it ok to hunt? I know you should not kill as it says in the bible. What are your thoughts on animals souls? What are your thoughts on animal rights and cruelty? What is taking too much?? Hope to hear from you. Love your podcast
They've been very vocal on what the Bible says about hunting and eating meat. Don't worry about it at all, we were given dominion over animals and are to use them as resources and food. The killing spoken of in the Bible is killing of people almost exclusively, as human life is set apart from animal life.
