I give it to the Wright Brother simply because their lines were as savage as they were fun to listen to it. "dudu dudu dudu!" You can tell that they were big fans of the Mario Brothers, even whilst they were tearing them apart.
Both duos seemed to have a lot of fun with this one. The acting was really great 😀
Great analysis! I totally agree that the Wright Brothers killed it although it's kind of close, but one thing that maybe you guys missed is in the Mario Bros first verse they say "You might fly like a hawk, but you fight like a kitty!" I think it's easy to miss that Kittyhawk is where the Wright Brother did their experiments.
It doesn't really make it hit harder as an insult, but it is an absolutely amazing word play and reference they just dropped in there.
Thanks for pointing that out. There are always a ton of clever lines that we miss in these which make them rewatchable over and over. Plus it shows how much research these people do on the characters 🙂😀
The Mario Bros were hella aggressive on this.
Their attitude was super aggressive for sure. It was a funky parody of them 😂
I love when they have Rhett and Link in ERB's.
Love your reactions guys, I really do. As you two love ERB, I would recommend eastern philosophers vs western philosophers. It is the best ERB said by them although is the most complex one

The two playing the Wright Brothers are Rhett and Link who are from Good Mythical Morning. They started their channel in 2012 and have released a new video every weekday and have over 2000 episodes. They are very funny and I would recommend the ones where they eat ghost pepper and Carolina reaper.
And "representing North Carolina" because they're even more North Carolinian than the Wright brothers (who were originally from Indiana)
They also appear as Louis and Clark in their ERB against Bill and Ted.

The song has a nice beat, but I'm a little disappointed that they didn't go further into the history of the characters.
My personal favorites are Stephen Hawking vs Albert Einstein and Eastern Philosophers vs Western Philosophers. I think they're both funny and clever.

When the Mario Brothers said they were going to knock the Wright Brothers off their quarters, they were talking about the North Carolina and Ohio state quarters. Two because the two states have a rivalry on which state was the "birthplace of flight": the state where they did most of their work or the state where they actually flew.
Unfortunately I don't think it works as an insult because you are admitting they were honored by being placed there in the first place.

You guys need to start checking out the Princess Rap Battles - Whitney Avalon is an absolute treasure and she gets some amazing guest stars to rap across from her. The Wizard of Oz vs. Alice in Wonderland is probably the best but they're all great.

I agree that the wright brothers totally killed and it was very close. I love the line dudda dudda dudda get down on your pipe and staying up all night playing donkey kong and also you think we're scared of two idiots addicted to 'shrooms. Mario Bros was an arcade game from ''83 by Nintendo. The wright brothers won this one hands down. This is one of the best rap battles ever. 🙂

The only rap I know with the Mario Bros is from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show with Lou Albano and Danny Wells (also already dead) ...and that awful but very charming Legend of Zelda cartoon series.
Where Link is the total douchbag and Zelda does all the work.
You maybe heard from it and the infamous MEME: "Well excuuuuuuuuse me princess..!"
I always thought the Zelda cartoon on Fridays was the best part of that show
@@RichardX1 I actually rewatched the Zelda cartoon series recently and I have to say I had a lot of fun with it and...it wasn't that bad, just like the Mega Man cartoon series back in the day. Sure, they were unfortunately responsible for the fact that we still have neither Zelda nor Mega Man (X) a proper anime, but they were as close to the source material as it was possible.
Hey, guys! I'm not sure if you'll see this comment but I really hope you react to the Glitchtale Series, made by Camila Cuevas. It's an Undertale Fan Animation with 2 Completed Seasons and a third season with only one episode so far.
I recommend watching the entire Season 1 in one video since it only spans around 40-50 minutes long, I think.

The series starts off really wonky but it gets better from there! Especially Season 2, where the artstyle evolves each and every episode!

I am totally for the Wright Brothers. Yeah Mario and Luigi are cool, but the Wrights are the literal inventors of Airplanes. They built the first plane to fly for over 30 minutes before it crashed.
