i feel like the issues around conspiracy, coercion, death threats, assault and battery, brandishing deadly weapons, kidnapping should have came first but idk yea lets focus on the items under any other lens than motive first cool.
How the hell do they act like nothing happened when he was beat and threatened to be killed for items? In the states that would be pretty serious, at least I think.
I'm hearing... assault, attempted murder, assault with the intent to murder, premeditated assault with the intent to commit murder and identity theft. (1. Discussed 'taking' the 'items' in question, and following through with it. 2. Kicking the boy, punching him. 3. Pulling the chair he was using to play on his password locked account out from under him and using his private account, linked with his private EMail, which most likely had his private information on it (Ie. Passwords, recovery information, payment information, address, shipping information etc.) without his written, and or verbal consent. Its the slammer for the kids, and a thorough investigation into the parent's conduct which led to this point, with potential CPS involvement.
If i ever found out my kid did some crap like this and it was proven, hell no i wouldnt appeal it. Kid would get no PC for a good long while on top of the community service the court gave.

After some confusion I finally understood what he was talking about. That mutual friend stole his party hat and told him it was me. pretty sure the kid whos party hat was stolen is in jail for violent crimes.
isnt the more concerning thing the fact these 2 boys physicaly harmed the kid, ignoring the theft aspect assualting someone regardless of age is still a serious crime
As a dutch, i can give some insight why there is little info on the younger boy. Under a certain age we try to keep information to minimum, when he turns 18 he shouldn't have a criminal record.
This kid gets three (3) knives pulled on him and the defense lawyer's argument is that technically stealing items is a part of Runescape. Did he call his cousin Vinny or something?
I don't think he was trying to brag in the interrogation, I think he was trying to explain how the game works to an adult that, in the mid-2000s, was probably not familiar the concept of an MMO.
Even if they dident get charged for theft they would still get charged for abduction, assault and death threats aswell as brandishing a deadly weapon no?
What are you talking about theft for the court case? They assaulted him, threatened him with knives, threatened his life, that's a court case in itself.
What I'm curious about is why on earth were they pushing theft charges over assault. The kid's life was threatened with a dangerous weapon. Both of the boys confessed they attacked Lucas.

Why was the focus on the stolen items, not the fact they beat the shit outta him lmfao
Under UK law, the perpetrators would have gained unauthorised access to computer material and therefore have broken the law under the computer misuse act.
If someone stole my items im coming back with a Drag Warhammer 😅
I remember seeing this on the news at the time! It was indeed about a halloween mask
Can I ask where you got the Runescape campfire wallpaper for your desktop background? Great vids btw, I just subbed.
Love the info we’d normally never see. Such a great channel here.
Glad to see others pointing out the real obvious crime. Like yeah it can be debated if it really was theft or not but what can not be debated is the older boy and younger boy committed assault and intimidation AT MINIMUM.
"can't steal something you can't even touch" betting the people behind crypto heists love this logic.
i feel like the issues around conspiracy, coercion, death threats, assault and battery, brandishing deadly weapons, kidnapping should have came first but idk yea lets focus on the items under any other lens than motive first cool.
Imagine being concerned by the theft charge, when they kidnapped and assaulted the kid.
You're a lovely man Colonello ❤
Thank you :D
Robbing a kid for his stuff in Runescape, under the threat of knifing him, is disgusting and pathetic.
Funny how the whole assault, kidnapping, and threatening to kill was all swept under the rug
How the hell do they act like nothing happened when he was beat and threatened to be killed for items? In the states that would be pretty serious, at least I think.
Imagine it Jagex would have sued the kid for stealing the digital goods. Would’ve been a hilarious backfire to the parents.
He should have just casted ice barrage on them and ran away saying “lol rats”
Hahahaha i life in netherlands and this story every dutch runescape player know this 😂
If i ever found out my kid did some crap like this and it was proven, hell no i wouldnt appeal it. Kid would get no PC for a good long while on top of the community service the court gave.
Child abduction, threats with a deadly weapon, physical assault, nbd… take my osrs bank call the lawyer
I'm dutch and I remember seeing this on the news back in the day!
Back in like 2003 I had a kid show up at my house, I didnt know him but I knew he was a friend of a friend. When I opened the door he asked me for his P hat back.
I mean, you now look there is a digital item worth a value now in Bitcoin, so the courts were definitely on to something
Hello Colonello great video. Where could we get your campfire background wallpaper from?
I got arrested for being too subscribed to Colonello
6:31 doesn't matter if someone has ever been punished for digital theft, they wanted to kill him man...
Did Jagex ever ban the old and young kids runescape accounts? Cool video
good work as always
As a dutch, i can give some insight why there is little info on the younger boy.
Under a certain age we try to keep information to minimum, when he turns 18 he shouldn't have a criminal record.
Interesting, thank you!
Community Service for assault with a deadly weapon is crazy, minor status included.
Love your vids nello
Thank you Sin
