- Unboxing my 5th gen honda prelude all wheel drive kit. We decided to build a 5th gen honda prelude and partnered with S1 Built to make it happen. We unboxed the kit to find amazing quality and top notch attention to detail. Spolier alert: Fitment is perfect and thats another video to come.

I was so stoked when s1 made this kit. I want to convert mine to rwd. Like it should have been in the first place. Selling my 4th car to get the kit soon

Watching ypur TRC INTERVIEW your about the same age as me so our avail cars of our lives llots of same these things rival indy cars of 70s in every way but cost and there just not as fast in any way salute you are a pioneer and icant wait to see whats next in achievments with awd h22 power
I'm assuming that there are parts that I would need besides just this S1Built AWD kit in order to make my 5th gen AWD. (Such as your h22 bellhousing?) I'd love to see a comprehensive list of ALL of the parts that are required to make a Prelude AWD along with their costs. I'm a layman who doesn't know much about drivetrain components, and it would make it a lot easier to take the plunge if I knew what I was getting myself into and the costs associated with doing something like this... Can't wait to see more!
Correct, in order to stay all H-series, you would need my awd bell housing. Thank you for the feed back, its somthing ill defintely consider making. There are so many options and ill try to name them.

I know there are lots of options and considerations that need to be made, but it would be nice to have some sort of pathway or idea on all the components that are required. It's probably something I could figure out with enough of a thorough investigation and watching lots of different videos from both s1built and the fewh22 crew, but I think it would be useful to have that information compiled somewhere. Either way I'm going to dig into this more. Just my thoughts.

@@jarrettlabate5595 Oh my lord. Is that just the AWD system? Or engine modifications as well? I was thinking / hoping it was going to run closer to $10-15k. I'm running h series, but figured I'd need the bellhousing, s1builts AWD prelude kit, and some parts from a K series Honda, and maybe some other misc things...
The s-1 kit by itself is like 9 Grand to do a k-swap is about 10 grand and then I don't know how much I spent on my turbo but probably around another 10k
not to mention, I was going to buy that kit from S1 built lol it’s nice to see what I would be buying before I buy it lol

I recently saw a documentary about your life on some other channel and I noticed you had an aftermarket harness on the h22, where did you get that harness from did you make one yourself?

hey guys im doing a 4th gen prelude.Its a father son project.unfortunatly i had a stroke and have been broke.i got a new engine but need a clutch ,timing belt and water pump. i would be greatful for any kind of help whatsoever.

@@itsjustweezer4054 i been thinking about this myself, went through 2 preludes, was gonna go for a RWD newer s550 mustang or possible gr86. Now im thinking this kit could be used for a RWD conversion. With custom fab you could swap in a k series w/ a BRZ transmission or maybe a 1uz + t56 transmission if you wanted a v8.... i may need to get a prelude again
