No, being objective and really without exaggeration, he is one of the best musicians in history, he sings, raps, is a multi-instrumentalist, composes, produces, he learned everything in a self-taught way, within his music there are personal issues but the way in which he expresses is in a way that other people also feel reflected, he uses his music to "clean" their problems, doubts and insecurities but also to help more people, at the same time makes a complex, difficult and beautiful universe in a way that I've never seen because beyond for example Trench is a concept album, it is a whole story that comes from his own mind and not only is it a story of an album, it comes from the past and continues, another beautiful thing about Tyler is his way of composition, he does not glorify and romanticize depression, anxiety or suicidal thoughts, he speaks enough to raise awareness and to talk about those important issues in an impressive way and finally another of his ways of composition is to make the songs to be played live, to involve thousands of people singing at the same time "I will stay alive" is something beautiful, words cannot explain. Sahlo - Enable Folina - Creative expression "I created this world To feel some control Destroy it if I want so I sing Sahlo Folina." That is pure genius
For those who don’t know, Sahlo Folina is not a person. It is two words. “Sahlo” means to enable, and “Folina” means to express yourself. So he is saying turn on your expressive self.
I've just reversed the part with "Sahlo Folina" and the music that sounds reversed - I can clearly hear "I need your voice" in the reversed "Sahlo Folina". And originally reversed music is just piano chords. I think it was a hint. :) Here, just listen: drive.google.com/open?id=1k9mgm6Skdf78zUyfMsfdNyG23HTtmVF1
I'd have to disagree tbh, I think we basically have the story of Dema and everything from Jumpsuit, NatN, and Levitate. This simple image I think has a better impact than a video. Something like Pet Cheetah would be cool and Morph. Unless they really nail a video for this song, I feel it won't do this song justice. The pure emotion throughout the instrumentals and his vocals is enough on its own. There might be a video for Leave the City I'd imagine, cause we got one for Goner and Truce.
I didn’t even have to stay up; is 10:00 right now where I am, and that’s when I usually go to bed, but I saw three notifications from twenty one pilots, immediately went into the bathroom, opened UA-cam, and started watching/ listening to these

Trench was, is and will probably always be my favorite TOP album. I will always remember the joy I felt, when I saw the early release of Jumpsuit and Nico And The Niners. And the entire album just blew my mind away. There is not a single song that didn't catch me. It reminds me of my old me, the dark place I was in and how much comfort and joy I found in TOP and especially this album. Now I don't want to go as far as to say that TOP and this album saved my life. They can't do that. But they certainly helped me get through some tough times. Trench will always have a special place in my heart. II-//

@@_Gonz0G_ Sahlo Folina means : In Banditos the line "Sahlo Folina" appears several times. I've seen several people think this is something backwards, but it actually has it's own meaning. "Sahlo" means to enable in Somali. Folina is a name and according to a name website I found, it means this: "Your name of Folina has made you happiest when you are expressing in some creative, artistic way, and not conforming to strict routine" So "Sahlo Folina" means to enable expressive creations. This makes a lot of sense considering the next verse is all about his ability to create the world of Trench. I got this off of reddit but it makes sense
I know they’re hugely talented but it’s gonna be hard to top this. Trench really was their peak, this song is arguably one of their best. This album was so beautiful and experimental, I really hope they take this direction again for their next work.
The softest echo could be enough for me to make it through ----- you know what I love about Tyler's lyrics, it's the fact that every time I hear them a part of my numb soul wakes up, deep sigh to the truth you breath with your words friend, you understand.
I hear this song through my addiction. I played this curled up in a ball in a roach motel room while withdrawing from meth & heroin. I was quite literally, dying. My body was done. I've just reversed the part with "Sahlo Folina" and the music that sounds reversed - I can clearly hear "I need your voice" in the reversed "Sahlo Folina". And originally reversed music is just piano chords. I think it was a hint. :) Here, just listen: drive.google.com/open?id=1k9mgm6Skdf78zUyfMsfdNyG23HTtmVF1

this song deserves a music video.
every single song of this beautiful piece of art album deserve a music video
I'd have to disagree tbh, I think we basically have the story of Dema and everything from Jumpsuit, NatN, and Levitate. This simple image I think has a better impact than a video. Something like Pet Cheetah would be cool and Morph. Unless they really nail a video for this song, I feel it won't do this song justice. The pure emotion throughout the instrumentals and his vocals is enough on its own. There might be a video for Leave the City I'd imagine, cause we got one for Goner and Truce.
Jayy Rockss all their songs do
I agree
All of them do, I think we can agree on that.

that is an understatement
trench was #1 in music charts for weeks when it came out
No it isn't lol what the heck
This comment is overrated. xD
II-//

I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
This is the sound we make
When in between two places
Where are we used to bleed
And where our blood needs to be
I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
I could take the high road
But I know that I'm going low
I'm a ban-I'm a bandito
In city, I feel my spirit is contained
Like neon inside the glass, they form my brain
But I recently discovered
It's a heatless fire
Like nicknames they give themselves to uninspire
Begin with bullet, now add fire to the proof
But I'm still not sure if fear's a rival or a close relative to truth
Either way it helps to hear these words bounce off of you
The softest echo could be enough for me to make it through

@@_Gonz0G_ Sahlo Folina means
:
In Banditos the line "Sahlo Folina" appears several times. I've seen several people think this is something backwards, but it actually has it's own meaning. "Sahlo" means to enable in Somali. Folina is a name and according to a name website I found, it means this:
"Your name of Folina has made you happiest when you are expressing in some creative, artistic way, and not conforming to strict routine"
So "Sahlo Folina" means to enable expressive creations.

I hear this song through my addiction. I played this curled up in a ball in a roach motel room while withdrawing from meth & heroin. I was quite literally, dying. My body was done.
