    As a West African during ebola i can tell you that whats app thing didn't do much. local news channels such as Radios where the major channels of communication but i love the talk, amazing!

    Melissa, thanks so much for the gold mine of valuable information in this video and on your website. I am a worship pastor working on my doctoral degree and am currently taking a class on pastor care in grief, loss, and trauma. I have been tasked with writing a first hours action plan for my geographical area (Florida...hurricanes). Would your crisis ready model translate to this sort of endeavor, or would you suggest something else?

    Good talk. West Africa comprises of many countries; some of which did not experience the Ebola crisis. Might help to narrow down to the specific countries in your BBC anecdote.

      Hi +Rose Wangechi, you're right that not all west African countries experienced the Ebola crisis. I'll aim to be more specific in the future. Though the point of the story is to share a brilliant proactive strategy for effect crisis comms. I hope that message wasn't lost in the lack of explicit detail. Thanks for weighing in!

If I could have said more, I would have in the TEDx - though even though I was a little restricted, I still thought it was a relatable story that would reach people the way I wanted it to.     Could you do a video on cancel culture? And how it has influenced your work?
    After I saw the Carson charity being canceled and shut down. I really felt like this was the beginning of something horrible. Is it manageable with planning? Or are the risks so random it isn't?
