Dr. Monroe received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine (Cum Laude) in Washington, DC and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in the department of neurosurgery. Dr. Monroe has privileges at Spartanburg Regional Medical System, Mary Black Health System, and Pelham Hospital.
