As an early intervention special instructor, I found this video informative and even refreshing to hear families perspectives about their children. I have only worked with one child diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome in my over 30 years in my career. I found that the sensory and emotional issues were hardest to work with well. Unfortunately for the family involved 4 of 5 of their children were diagnosed, however the parents were so very helpful and attentive to their children's needs and taught me so much about how to work around their youngest child and his specific needs. These 3 sisters truly impressed me with their openness and I only hope their families see wonderful things from their children who by now are probably young adults. Be blessed.
To the Mums, it's not your fault. You're doing great! Sometimes life throws a curve ball, you can either give up, or push back. You ladies are pushing back. You're doing the best you can, take time to be sad. To grieve, but continue to push back.
They keep saying it's not at all like autism but it sounds very similar to like a medium functioning autism to me bc autistic people can have issues socially, emotionally, have sensory issues, and if they are low or medium functioning they can have developmental delays. I guess the biggest difference is that autism isn't a genetic disorder. Oh and this is random but that forest school looks super fun. I would have loved to do that as a kid!
I teach spec Ed and it can (depending on the child) be very much like autism. I’ve had children with Autism I’m my class that are very loving, etc. it’s a spectrum.
I have trouble believing that autism is not genetic. It is all through my family. My Dad had it now I can see the way he behaved was exactly like my grandchildren. I have at least 6 grandchildren with autism and two kids. Autism is genetic
A very big appreciation to Dr Igudia on UA-cam for helping me getting rid of my 11 years type 2 Diabetes disease with his natural herbs medication which I ordered from him on his UA-cam Channel. may God continue to bless your good work sir and I want to also recommend Dr Igudia to my fellow Americans who suffers from Diabetes.

The boys that are friends with Flynn warms my heart ♥️
What amazing mum's these 3 women seem to be. They seem very in-tune with their individual kids and ways to improve their lives.
15:36 What lovely lads Flynn and his group of friends are.
My son was diagnosed aged 4 now 15. I am a carrier and my one of my sisters also. Wish there was more awareness in the UK xx
The background music is way too loud
Its a tragedy for many girls that they look so normal and speak so well that people have no idea of the internal struggles going on.

It is simialr to autism. Btw high/low functioning is an outdated term. High or low support is a more inclusive term to use!

@@patriciafisher1170 it is very widely known now that autism is genetic. somewhere between 40-80% of autism risk is caused by genetic factors.
Thanks for sharing this video! Would you be able to share the CCG repeats for the 3 moms?
Blessings to you all
I want captions. Auto captions don't work at all (no captions shown).
Couldn't stay with it, awful background noise.
I wanted to say the same. The music is rather nice but it's louder than their words.
@@DroDro3 The spots that had no music was all I could hear
Horrible and loud "music" ruining this otherwise informative video. What is up with that plinky piano accompaniment?
Get your genetics tested!!
I have multiple relatives with this
I have it nothing wrong with me I just love myself
