It’s so funny how everyone’s criticising KSI’s boxing yet Tommy Fury the “professional boxer” wasn’t any better in fact was clearly the lesser opponent
They said any good boxer can put knock out some like ksi's style... I guess tommy is not a good boxer now is he.

Tommy didn’t KO either of his opponents and won both by decision. Tommy’s celebration of the wins against Jake Paul and KSI we’re embarrassing. He should’ve celebrated by saying ‘I knew I would win because I am a pro boxer’. Instead he cried after winning against Jake and acted like he’d won a championship against kSI. Pathetic.

I don’t get why so many ppl are criticizing the clinching. Both sides were doing it, and when they did they were dirty boxing like crazy. It wasn’t boring hugs like ppl make it seem.
I mean it's the same people who confuse clinching with hugging so what do you expect?
Every time ksi threw a shot he literally grab held of Tommy every time
and actually it was tommy who extended the clinch, had KSI's head in an arm lock and pushed his weight down on him to tire him out. that was literally his strategy and that was why he was buzzing that he had the size advantage in this fight.

Like I’m not gonna act like I’m a pro.
But when you’re first taught boxing besides the jab and the overhand they teach u how to work in the clinch, because a lot people don’t know what to do when that happens.
They show you how to safely enter and exit the clinch, get ur shots off in the clinch, put you’re weight on them and then push them when u get out.
KSI stayed out of range so Tommy couldn’t just jab him like Jake, then jumped into to range, sometimes missed and sometimes landed the right clean, and then out punched Tommy in the clinch.
Tommy didn’t land anything besides back of the head shots which he continued to land after the deduction. And in the clinch Tommy was clueless what to do in those situations.
Tommy was the bigger, more experienced and superior technical fighter. So KSI made it dirty to win it.
People complaining about a hug fest is only valid if you wanted entertainment, but people acting like it’s illegal is funny as fuck. Clinching is part of the sport.
Yep, I’ve seen pro boxers just leaning on each other in the clinch repeatedly trying to catch their breath. These guys were throwing hands in the clinch. The accumulation of those rabbit punches isn’t a joke. How about ppl get on Tommy’s ass for not being able to catch JJ and his predictable karate style, hands low no defense stance? A decent boxer would have slipped and ripped JJ to the underworld

I love how no one mentions the fact that Tommy fought much worse than against Jake trying to inflate KSI's performance haha. Dude couldn't string one combination together tonight and was allergic to left hooks or uppercuts that could have given him the knockdown as JJ was staggered on mutiple ocassions.

JJ's strategy was genius. He was bouncing outside of Tommy's range which makes it hard for Tommy to Jab or read his footwork to estimate when JJ's gonna throw. Then, JJ was lightning speed walking into range and throwing the overhand. Very unusual style but IT WORKED. Tommy had no idea when JJ was gonna throw and was sooo useless during the clinch. The only reason the judges gave it to Tommy is because they didn't like JJ's boxing style and didn't want to go off script and give a "professional boxer" who is part of the FURY clan and has been boxing since 6 years old his first loss against a youtuber who trains boxing for a hobby.

The scribbled out score card is wild. Fixing games so early in this new trend of crossover boxing is an easy way to prevent it from continuing to grow. Nobody would've known who Tommy Fury was if it weren't for Jake and KSI, and the disrespect Tommy shows to KSI would only be acceptable if he was actually in a higher league but clearly "UA-cam" boxing is exactly where he belongs. It should've been called as a draw.
It was the correct scorecard. Watch it back without your bias and watch it without your emotions controlling the scoring, and youll see 57-56 in favor of Tommy Fury is correct.

Not tryna knock a man down more when hes lost, but his tactics, although effective, highlighted his lack of boxing talent/ability. Ksi basically hugged Tommy for the entire fight (initiated the clinch most times and held on even when Tommy let go), but fair play to him he made it competitive. However, this should be a loss for both of them; Tommy because he didn't look like a professional boxer in there, and for JJ too because he clearly lost the fight.

Clinching is part of boxing, but excessive clinching needs to be penalized. After a few clinches, if it becomes clear a fighter is using excessive clinching as a gameplay to avoid fighting inside, there needs to be warnings, points taken away, and then DQs. It is anti-boxing, a fighter should get by with blocking, head movement, and footwork on defense.

I don't think it was a ROBBERY I think it was too close to say someone was robbed it could have gone either way. most people thought it was 3-3 with the point deduction in the final round and with a clinch fest the judges had a hard fight to score. you could argue a Tommy win, ksi win or a draw and I'd probably agree with you.
It was a robbery because Tommy shouldn’t have won it was either a Ksi win or a draw because of the point deduction. Tommy is the pro he didn’t convince anyone he was the pro and he cheated, he purposely hit head shots to the back it wasn’t even Ksi moving his head it was in the clinch and he punched Ksi after the bell only 1 point was deducted as well

12:45 All 3 tickets have mathematical errors on them. The middle ticket looks like numbers were changed. First round from 7 to 9 and the second round looks like it was changed from 8 to 9. Even with the new numbers, there was a minus 1, so the total should have been 56 not 57.

The judges didn’t count the scores right. They gave Tommy an extra point. Look at the scorecards. It actually is a robbery, it would’ve been a draw and Tommy got lucky to have not had 2 or 3 points knocked off for punches on the back of his head and the one after the round ended.

KSI landed 2 overhands the entire fight whereas Tommy was landing clean jabs, walking KSI down and pushing the pace of the fight. Even if both were landing equally, there was only one guy in there who was coming forward, and that was Tommy. Most of these influencer boxers started boxing a few years ago, compared to professionals who more than likely started at a young age. he had less significant strikes, secondly boxing is scored on a round by round basis, JJ landed nearly 50% of all his shots in the first two rounds, therefore he won the first two, fluked a point deduction and lost the next four rounds, that is a loss of 57-56. He was also not more aggressive and clinched every time he could, he barely landed a punch outside the clinch in the final four rounds, in 3,4 and 6 he didn't land anything outside of the clinch, pretty pathetic performance from KSI tbh.

Swinging wild as jj was is extremely awkward and jumping around with his guard down would make it difficult for any boxer to deal with. Tommy wanted to box while jj jump forward threw hands and went for the hug clinch every time he attacked, it makes it look like jj doing more but realistically most of jj shots came from in the clinch or just has he was going into the clinch while he threw hands. Can’t lie I thought Tommy was going to go all out in this fight but seemed like his game plan was just to try out box him and let him jump around while out boxing him which worked in his favour.
This is a example of a really good trainer. Even while the fight was happening he gave calm and clear advice. TOP TIER if you ask me!
