Absolutely LOVE❤your channel! So glad I came across it. Thank you for all the great content!
You have been do helpful to me because I have been having trouble with mines I'm so grateful for you ❤️
Very helpful comments and observations. Very grateful to you for finding the time to post the video. Thanks!
Great options! This is all new to me, I got my first sensor this week and this was very helpful!
Hi. I’m a newbie w/ this sensor. I found you and so glad that I did. Great tips and ideas. I’m feeling better about this already.
Thank you for this informative video. I received my libra today ❤
Thank you for the info! I love your channel!
Thank you so much! I just put on my first one yesterday and somehow lost it today. These tips will help for sure!
Lol, on Tuesday night after work, I’m listening to videos about libre 2. Mine showed high this evening but now has dropped. Love my lifestyle libre2. Totally recommend. It’s a good tool to see trends. Tips help know what others are doing.
Thank you so much for all your information. Just got my first sensor yesterday.
Hi!!! I'm new to the cgm Freestyle libre and I wanted to thank you for sharing your experiences. As a newbie I did find it helpful.
Thank you for doing this video. I am new to your channel and you helped me ease my anxiety about the free style Libre 2. I refuse to do the finger sticks because they hurt for a while. Thanks to you I am going to get the free style libre 2 because I know I need to know my blood sugar levels. I’m type 2
Thank you so much hun me and my son was very successful applying his libre 2 thanks to you. The first time before we watched your video the libre fell off within 10 minutes. Came across your video and you help a whole lot my son is so happy to not prick his finger... Thank you again 💓
Thank you so much for the information. The biggest thing I’m going to make sure I do is press down around the outside of the sensor. As common sense you think that would be I never thought of it. It’s the simple things that can be overlooked. Btw.. you always make me smile when you start your videos with your beautiful big smile keep it up and keep the tips coming they are great!
Great job! And thank you!
Excellent tips
Good help on lows. I have had that happen a few times. I’m too tired to finger prick, so I’ll have to try next time and see if I’m really that low.
It’s such a battle for me! Thanks for the tips
Thank you for the advise They got me trying this i will try these things
Thanks Very Helpful!
This was helpful, like, I learned abt compression load, like, I haven't heard of this before. I was hoping for, like, a visual demonstration, like, applying liquid medical glue and like, a circular cover. Thanks for the video. Thumbs 👍
i use ambrosia's blucon over libre sensor for monitoring my son's sugars and i use 3d holder for it. It not only helps blucon to stay in place but helps manage position of sensor too.
Great video.
Thank you
I too have LADA, it is weird to explain to folks….thanks for your video❤️😁❤️
I tried using Nightrider Blucon with libre sensor. It helps me get readings on my Apple watch directly while on the run without any need to scan!
Very helpful tips! Thank you! Something that I do to help my sensor stick really well is I use both alcohol wipes and rub each one on my skin for a long time to make sure my skin is prepped and clean. I also wash my arm with soap and water before I use the alcohol wipes.
Yesssss! Super clean skin is a big factor in getting it to stick well. Any residue seems to weaken the adhesive.
Thank you so much for these videos! You are my personal inspiration in going thru my new journey. My sensor would fall off every 6th day if it wasn’t for this video I would be still struggling.
You are so welcome! I'm glad to help, and really glad this helped your sensor stay put!
I use the product call Skin prep wipes works well for me after I do the alcohol wipe. The skin prep gives that sticky glue like feel. Helps keep the sensor secured on your arm. Let both dry before sensor. You can find that product at medical supply stores only. Not found in drug stores. Love using my FreeStyle Libre2.
Thank you very much! :)
You are very funny. You make me laugh. But really you always have good information your so helpful. And i think you are really making people feel better.
I’m glad you get my jokes, and that you’re always here first with the best comments!
Amen to that!
Hey Mila! Great informative video. Something else I do is shave the backside of my arm. Even though it’s just more fine hairs it helps to make the surface really smooth.
That is such a great tip! I would guess that also helps with pulling it off - it sounds so much less painful!
Thanks for the tips! You can use a little cooking oil or baby oil on a cotton ball to remove your sensor.
Hi Mila, love your channel! What is the skin glue you mentioned that helps it stick?
your ring is so pretty
I use skin grip plasters specifically for the libre
Good tips. Some I already do and some I'll start doing. I've only had 1 stay on the whole 14 days. And I'm a Texas girl also in Ft worth area.
Hi Elonda, could you please say what tips you used and didn't work? Have the new tips helped you keep it on for 14 days? I have mine coming in the mail and I want to do everything I can to keep it on for 14 days. I do a sauna every day and I inferred you being from Texas, that sweat was a primary issue for you?
@@gammerata hi. I take a shower before applying new disk. Clean area with alcohol let it dry. Apply skin tag let it dry. Add disk. This routine has helped it stay on for the whole 14 days multiple times.

Thanks for responding, appreciate the info !!

Any concern about the skin tac being introduced into your body since the needle is piercing the skin tac. That’s my major reservation at this time
@@gammerata no I haven't had any concern. And have had no problems. Hope it helps you
I was watching your video on Ozempic. Have you gotten your new A1C test? I’m so curious. My dr recommended it so I’ve been looking into it.
I get new labs tomorrow! And I have my follow up with my doctor next week; so I’m planning to do an update sometime next week hopefully! If you’re subscribed with notifications on it’ll alert you ☺️. If I can remember, I’ll come back and comment with the link!
My Libre is also saying right now my 90 day average glucose is 148, which would be about a 6.8 A1C if the data is accurate.
These sensors totally suck. The adhesive sticks to skin fine, but the sensor itself comes off the adhesive. first 7 sensors worked fine, but the last 4 fail after a couple of days. One sensor failed right after the 1 hour warm up. Would not transmit, and then an hour later ended itself. Glad I am not paying for these. Problem is, that the insurance does not want to keep paying for the failures either. So.... I can not count on this system. I do carefully apply, and was shown how to apply by a nurse. did it fine for 7 sensors, so I am pretty sure it is not me goofing it up.
Im new to the Libre 3 system today. My biggest concern is I have a tendency to have skin reactions to adhesives on my skin! Im hoping this wont be an issue.
Sometimes a skin barrier like Skintac works wonders. Some folks also use products like Flonase on the skin first and then let it dry and stick the sensor on. It’s said to help with the allergy!
Can you put SkinTac directly on the sensor before it's applied to the skin? Not on the fiber but around it?
I usually avoid doing anything to the sensor itself, because I don't want to void the opportunity to return it if something goes wrong. I apply SkinTac directly to my skin instead.
Wash, Exfoliate, wash, alcohol, skin tack, sincere, warm hand, press seams down, patch, warm hand, press down
I have no choice every two weeks. I have to sleep on my left side because of acid reflux.
Though Stephen don't really work that I had to take mine off the sensor too if they didn't work that well it told me right now to take it off and I track calling the company and somebody from the Philippines who's talking to me I couldn't understand them and I told him I wanna speak to somebody in the USA I help you I'll help me and I couldn't understand what you were saying so I just hanged up the phone on him I don't think we didn't work
Go to their website - you can now report malfunctioning CGMs online and get a replacement.
My problem is getting it off after 14 days. I always wear a patch over mine and it never falls off.
Soaking it in an oil based product usually works for me, and I bought this stuff on Amazon for removals of my insulin patch and it’s been wonderful: amzn.to/41hfHqD. It’s gotten way more expensive since I started using it though, so I’m looking for alternatives.
Lotion also works as well. I have my Mom slather lotion on and around the sensor, let the lotion sit for 10-15 minutes and the sensor it comes right off
Had this on for 1 day and it started to liftoff the skin a little. I exercise doing HIIT work and I noticed this happening near the end of the workout. Also, this reads 20-25 points higher than my glucometer. Disappointed as this is not an asset.
Have you tried using skintac? It’s a skin barrier that helps it stay on, but also helps for people with skin allergies. I live in a very humid climate and skin tac has helped my sensor survive cycling, running and swimming (plus showers).
@@TheHangryWoman Ordered something similar. Hope it helps. Still not sure about its accuracy.
Curious, are you still using it? I’ve noticed it’s pealing a little on 3rd day..even with skintac and I haven’t done any crazy exercise. Hmm
Sounda like you have MODY. Should contact Mark Cucuzzella, the running doctor. He also haa MODY. He's very helpful.
I have LADA - I was re-diagnosed after a type 2 misdiagnosis in 2020.
My cellphone exhausted after installing the app
I now u r too busy, i need help... well i hvquestions! Birth is the most it makes me want yo cry, my focot say i am border lineman
