You almost cut your finger off?! How deep did the grinder cut into your finger? Did you have a good hand surgeon Reattach it? How long ago did that happen!
Always enjoy your videos brother. 2 quick questions: 1. what happened to your hand and how long before you're back to trimming? 2. I've seen other videos where they would put a cow that hurt into a stall full of straw for padding. That not necessary here? Thanks again. 👍
Okay so firstly thanks for the message!! This is an older video but basically I almost cut my finger off when my chute malfunctioned. Cow panicked and kicked the grinder into my finger. All sorted now! 2. For the quickest heal rate we need the cows standing and walking. It promotes blood flow so for lame cows I actually don’t want them near to the parlour in a comfy bed where they don’t stand. I kinda want them to stand and walk for a few hours per day to help it heal, almost like when you sprain an ankle and they want you to move for blood flow etc
It is a high yielding dairy cow so yeah that is super normal. I think when most people picture cows they picture old fashioned fat dumpy little things. Where as this girl would stand well over 5 foot tall and probably gives 10-12 tons of milk per year

Her foot was so bad with those ulcers. I know this is going to be a while to heal up, so please show us your rechecks. Thanks for helping her out.
Definitely up for a recheck on this poor girl. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Hope she feels better and heals soon.
I would really like to see the progress of the healing.
Poor cow. Definitely would like to see the recheck.
You were all just BRILLIANT
Love to see a follow-up video for sure❤❤❤

This happened maybe 12 months ago now… yeah I had a good dr who sorted it! Took 20 stitches to get it right but it was pretty messy!
Thats a gnarly looking hoof, you used a whole lot a bandage for that wrap.
I've never seen two ulcers on one foot before!
I'm wondering if there is a follow-up video, too...
That’s one huge mess. I also would love to see recheck.

@keepingcowsmoovin2986 Thanks for taking time to reply bro. Keep the videos coming! 👍
Estes tumores não podem ser retirados??
Def want the recheck
😢😢glad u can fix her
Holy shit what a difficult trim.
No iodine?
Holy crap. Aside from some completely necrotic claws that I’ve seen on the hoof gp, this might be the worst and weirdest foot I’ve ever seen.
That was some job 🎉
Is that a double sole ulser?
Those are the worst foot ulcers I have seen. I don't think I have ever seen a cow with two on one hoof . Looking to see how she does.
Not to sound stupid. New to these kinda videos but why are the cows so thin? You can see her bones. Is that normal?

I would think the cow would walk back where you don't want her to put pressure because of placement of horse shoe lifts.
Your awesome
Thanks!

Closer camera shots through the trimming process.
Strangest trim I've ever seen.
It’s probably the strangest trim I’ve ever done too!
Porfavor acerca mas la 🎥 cámara gracias
On future videos we film them a lot closer and do a better edit 😂 I promise
That poor cow! Was that all one ulcer or had two issues birthed a monster baby on her foot?
Ummm I’m not really sure! It just kinda exploded out of the hoof!
There are the new biodegradable wraps now that stay on longer, and then disintegrate.
Need to zoom in
update on that poor girl 😒
Ouch😮😮😮
Mmmmm I don’t know
😱💔😭
DO YOU CARE TO EXPLAIN HOW SHE GOT SO NELGECTED????
