I love happy place hate I do have to recommend Between Us by Mhairi McFarlane as the anti-happy place, it also came out last year and is also about a friend group going to a house together but 1) the trip causes the main woman to have issues with her partner (due to strange hijinx) and 2) the friend group feels incredibly lived in. Reading that friend group made me hate happy place more lmao
