and hes doing complete reps, not half reps
He’s doing chest touch and locking out at the top which makes it much harder than what I see a lot of powerlifters do, this is an insane feat of strength
@@lucasbrandt5501 1. you wont see powerlifters not touch chest and lockout, since it's literally required in competition 2. julius is technically also a powerlifter 3. its mostly the bodybuilder guys doing the form you mean, where they dont lockout and have that weird motion at the elbows.
to be fair he weighs 700 lbs
Same. And no chest bounce at all
I think that 15 repetitions of 505 lbs is ridiculously impressive.
Watch Kirill doing 555 for 9 that is equally insane.
@@alexenache6942
Kyrill defo got more endurance
@JohnDoe-id5ih Yeah that is Julius weakness because he is the strongest but that comes at a high price with.
Julius' current strength is probably around where kirill was at his prime. @@alexenache6942
@@JohnDoe-id5ihI don''t know if I'd say that, Julius did 600 for 9, and has repped over 700 which we never saw Kirill do.
julie really out here making 500 look like 225
More like 135 for average people
Well, all men should be able to press roughly their body weight
@@Decristostylenah, 225
@@kris985 You need to touch some grass if you think the average person be benching 225 for reps. I guess 225 is the new 135.😂🤦♂️
If you actually believe it is common for people to bench 225 for 15 reps then you either don’t lift or you are delusional. Most people I see in the gym are benching around the range of 135-185 for males with reps and for women they are benching between 45-95 pounds for reps. In my 8 months using a public gym I have only seen about 4 to 5 people bench 225 for reps. The other amount of time was spent in a home gym.
@@Decristostylesocial media has really fucked with peoples perception of how hard it is to get a 225 bench for reps lol
Lerry wheels has to learn bench press range of motion with Julius
and julius needs to learn how yo maintain that physique while benching the same .
Larry did 500x12 whilst weighing 200lbs less than Julius
@@esnezz3766irrelevant. This isn’t a PFP contest 😂😂😂
@@RunForPeace-hk1cuvery relevant this dude looks terrible
If it was like 20lbs I would agree with you, PFP people are annoying. But 2 fucking hundred, that is pretty damn noteworthy. That is an entire grown ass man in difference. Lol
Might be strong as fuck but the guy looks on the verge of a heart attack
Yeah he’s strong but he need to lose weight.
If julius does a pr single it's a wr or 800.his last pr single was 796
More reps with lower weight doesn't always mean more 1rm potential. He can't do 796 again right now tbh but he will likely get back to it with time
@tylerspecht7553 idk. He seems shot. He rescheduled this last 800 attempt like 5 times. News from his camp is he's worried his next attempt will be his last. Doctor is worried he's gonna die if he keeps up his cycle while being 450+lbs
This is amazing
Agreed, holy s$!t
Great job
Monsterpower , Julius still grinding to 800 and he will succeed , this 15 times 229 is superhuman
Ive seen a guy hit 500 for a double a couple times in the gym. The whole gym stopped what they were doing and watched. I couldn't imagine seeing a guy treat 505 like a warm up. Get that 800 big Julious!
I used to lift with a guy who could press 5 plates 3-5 times for his last set. Quietest and most humble guy in out whole workout group.
It's not often you see bench press technique this good on UA-cam.
That form is amazing I had bad form from start now I’m doing this correct no bouncing no dipping just down up down up
my goat
Awesome and also shows how strong Eric Spot was as he benched 500 pounds for 17 reps at 315 pounds bodyweight and had only really just got started in PL before his shoulder injury.
Yeah spoto is just different. Excellent arm wrestler as well
Damn, someone out benched the best bencher?
@@sonnyblack0870 spoto was/ will always be one of the best of all time. If I remember correctly he did 600 for like 6 or 8 reps and had gas in the tank for 2 more
Imagine if he stop eatint all that processed food and eating late what he could accomplish. Dude is a beast but i seen a video of him indulging in mcdonalds.
@@sonnyblack0870You seem to not understand the concept of pound for pound. Larry Wheels is a far more impressive bencher (pound for pound), and generally all around stronger, than this blob. How long you think it takes Julius to find his weiner underneath all that fat. 😂🤣🤣 It's ok I'm sure you're on your hands and knees ready to help him.
That was Nasty!!!!
En plus il les fait propres ils les verrouille incroyable JULIUS 👍💪
Andrey smaev recently bench pressed 200x25
205*
Is this impressive?
@@Pedant_Patrolkg
It wasn't even 20 reps plus he used the elbow sleeves and wasn't doing a full lockout. Still impressive but let's not add to it in order to embellish it lol.
It was no way near this technique. But still crazy impressive especially in his weight class. But his 1 rm is 300kg touch and go. U can clearly see on insta soo I believe in a competition rn he can do 280kgs without sleeves. But his real power is his pulling strength. That’s extraterrestrial fosure
Not paused but most impressed
He is made for that, I feel.
Easy. Fast to. Man that awesome
How can someone be this strong
It’s that power belly, well done sir
Damn
Any records related to cardio are safe at this time. If you are strong but can't last 30 seconds what good are you?
Martina Bradley did 15 SUMO Bench Press reps with 27 kg yesterday - a new PB for her
😂
First
I think he’s only 59 weeks out from the show too haha haven’t seen his countdown in a while
800 or not. Just make it!!!
goddamn
That is at my dad's gym and that is his friend
where's the pauses at besides the last few reps?
Ikr
Осëл
Yeah doesn't count! Not even a strong guy!...
@@loganlandis5935You are missing the point, clown. The foreigner commentator said "he did paused reps".
lets calm down rAUUUUUL
hes he holding back doing the 800lbs bench for an official competition?
Not worth it to go so heavy, all the time. I just learned that the hard way with a torn pec tendon because I wasn't backing off and doing higher reps
@@chancefluke7833 I know what you mean. I have torn my pec in 2015, when I stupidly decided to do an additional heavy set after an hard drop-set. On the 5th rep it hurt, on the 6th rep it tore like a rubber band. Since since then I could never go 100% on chest or shoulder again, can't go heavier than 120kg without my pec starting to feel like it's slowly tearing apart again. Also on longer drives with the hands on the wheel it feels like stitches or small cramps in my pec. I hope it will be better for you and that you have done a surgery to re attach the torn tendon again, because normally it won't do it by itselfl.
We were promised 800
Im so glad where I live u have to wear a top in the gym
Nice barrel belly 😂😂
‘’225lb for 10 reps? Damn your pretty strong dude’’ ‘’nah 225kg.’’
I knew he was heavy, but didn't know he was that heavy. 473 is huge.
Understatement of the year... walking heart attack. I'm very curious to see his blood work/vitals. 😬
@@Tritiuminducedfusion Man, I don't wish that on anybody. Not saying you do, you're just stating your opinion, but I imagine he's that big to achieve his bench goal. I'd bet he drops a ton of weight when he's done competing.
I got that weight for 3 sets of 10 reps.
15 is still impressive though.
Of course you did
how does julius maddox have no competitors? danial zamani?
Dudes fake and fraud until he does in comp
Gragas 🍺🍺
Great feet of strength but is it worth the probable body/health damage from the huge amount of PEDs he had to take for an extended period?
Each rep was not paused lol wtf. Like reps 2-10 were touch and go lol
Full rom tho.
And?
It's always the nobodys that have something negative to say lol
@@Kev_Ridge The point is that the narration in the video is wrong. Doesn't take away from Julius though.
Full range of motion and controlled speed. I don't care if he paused. Those are all legit reps
Dont you just wanna motorboat that
Not only did he bench 1.6x my max, he did it for 15 reps 😢
Every time, his last rep is always kareeing towards the j-cups lol. He needs to learn to grind and lockout, so when he goes for the 800, he isn't giving up if it isn't moving well.
Eric spoto did 15 reps with 500 but next time please keep on a shirt
He’s going to be so shriveled up a small after his heart gives out
6’3” 473 pounds is the biggest human ever
Nah Thor and Brian Shaw would make him look tiny.
@dyelbodybuild5601 he weight more than them😂. But seriously this is not healthy at all
Why does it look like the bar path is a straight line?
What do you mean? The bar movement should be always on a nearly straight line on the bench press. The bar should normally touch the lower or middle chest with the elbows pulled in and go up and down on a straight line and never above the throat or face in worst case. That's dangerous when the bar accidentally drops and bad for the shoulder joints. Only equipped bench press is different because of the tight bench shirt.
@@IronWarrior95the best bar path is a curved path, where u push down into lower chest, and push up towards the rack.
@@bikramdhaliwal2113Pretty sure it's this... iron warrior seems autistic.
So he’s lift pretty much his weight I can also at 146
Omg that belly 😂
I'm stronger pound for pound
@@Reppintimefitness Are you half his weight and can bench 400 lbs?
I can bench 2x my bw. 🙂
Dude is shaped like a pear lol.
Andrey Smaev is going for you.
Is 800 still in his future?
Thats one of thé questions in life
The craziest part is he GAINED power with those last pause reps! Kinda like every puase acutally gave him a small rest in between reps.
I don’t see a pause on some of those reps.
Since when did the "pause" become a must in bench pressing? Why do you people keep adding more bs.
473 lbs, lol. If he lives 10 more years, I'd be stunned. Hope it was worth it 🤷♂️.
Sure he’s not going to live long but he died what he loved doing 😂
@@Koch3665ikr? He might live a short life, but he didn't waste it talking trash online like this guy.
Quality over quantity 😂😂😂
Wait for Smaev
Guys are a walking heart attack
That's what I said. Some donkey said he's in good health, I nearly 💩 myself laughing at that. His life to live though 🤷♂️. His heart and liver are the real stars here.
Great although the term paused on every rep is loosely applied.
Ye definitely wasn't paused except first few reps, but regardless
Still full rom tho.
Fantastic but not sure I saw any pauses, mostly bounces.
not paused theyre tngo but amazing
My dude built like humpty dumpty
He weighs how much???
473 pounds that’s what u need to bench 800 pounds
You didn't listen to the video? Lazy Gen Z.
He's starting to get the early stages of Palumboism, AKA the 'Bubble Gut', and I don't think it's just his fat. There's likely some HGH swimming around in there enlarging his organs
Maybe, but I’m pretty sure he’s just got a lot of fat on him-he does weight well over 400 pounds
He's a world class athlete, of course he's juicing like crazy
@@glorytoukraine5524"Athlete" lol
@@Tritiuminducedfusion it's not because he's stupidly fat. Otherwise you'd be an athlete too

Doesn't matter. Nothing's gonna make up for what he did to the library of Alexandria
Young lad from the UK just did 405 pounds for 40 reps
The grim reaper from the uk 🇬🇧 did 15 reps easy
Most men weighing 200lbs or more cannot bench 50lbs more than their own body weight for 10 or more reps. Make that 2 or more reps.
99.99% of gym goes can't do it, don't even get me started on the average man.
louis cyr is still the strongest freak in the past 130 years. he did so many feats. 1 was his backpress. didn’t even practice for it….. which makes it even more nuts. he backpressed 4300lbs
Sorry no he's not currently the strongest bench presser in the world
That is not a pause. It's touch and go.When i used to compete in usapl and adfpa it was a 2 second pause on the chest.
How is bro 215kg
genetic freak
He’s 6’3 and hugely overweight. Mass moves mass though.
@@radspencer3584 mass move mass? bro man is a legit genetic freak even with mass, u wouldnt bench half of what he does in a lifetime even for reps.
@@TradeInfinitum doesn’t change the fact that he’s hugely overweight. Both Eddie Hall and Thor had to weigh in excess of 450lbs to deadlift 500kg. Mass moves mass. Period.

That's the proper way to spot
What did we just witness? This is more impressive than Tom Platz 525 for 23, and Platz was using fake weights
Platz were not fat as fuck tho, bench press scales well with bodyweight.
Platz is more impressive lmao
Fake weights? Low I.Q. tards say anything.
You taco and burrito eating joker.
bodybuilders shouldn’t be compared to power lifters in strength
Not impressed he weighs almost 500 pounds
Hard to keep a good relative strength at that size
He doesn't need to impress the unimpressive ☺
Bro weighs 500 pounds. Of course he should be able to do this? I can bench my body weight 20 times. Pound for pound i didnt think he was that heavy. I can also squat 2.5 times my body weight. Can he squat 1250 pounds?😂
Probably be more impressive if he wasnt 400#
Close-grip bench is superior to Wide-grip bench.
If he loses his belly, would he still be as strong? 🤔
No, he would probably not be as strong. He would loose a bit of power.
No
Josh Baker might be able to be the first to hit 800
He’s very fragile though I don’t think he’ll be about for much longer. The guy needs to grow thicker skin
Looks like he has a hernia on his lower abdomen hopefully not
Julius is one of the only guys doing AMRAP with big weights and complete reps.. the other guys are doing half reps. Half reps = no reps.. Julius is official.. anything less than full reps do not count.
Fatty liver / liver cirrhosis that gut doesn't look like fat it looks like swelling
Some PEDs are really hard on the organs and also cause water retention
@@jam9297 when power / body - builders get that gut swelling does it go away? And do they live long/ normal life expectation?
Because there's some body builders that at 70 and still huge and doing shows so it makes me wonder how bad those PEDs are or if it's just abuse
@@nathanielalaburgDelhiit is often due to abuse but imo everything you put inside a healthy body with good natural test levels is abuse. It's always gonna have a negative impact on health. A belly like his will never be flat again and the damage he has done to himself with all the peds over the years can not be reversed. But that is his choice and what julius does is just incredible. Some organs can recover when damaged others can not. The liver is known for it's recovery abilities but his heart has grown so much due to the ped abuse... he will have increased risk of cardiovascular disease or stroke etc for the rest of his life. He can also get insulin resistance which can not be reversed when it's too late... just stay away from drugs

You really put "only" and "700 pounds" in the same sentence. Typical anime pfp brain.
@kalb390 not even 2 times hi body weight 🤣. Most bodybuilders can lift more than 2 times their body weight. With low fat too. Bodybuilders in off season is even stronger. Would lift 3 times their weight
