"Invisibility" hits home - I like how even if mobs don't take a poke at you they'll still track your every movement just waiting for you to pop back in
Right.. ive always been annoyed by that. I'll be invis n they just staring right at me knowing exactly where I am but usually won't attack til visible again. I've been killed like that so many times.. if I didn't have a timer telling me when it turns off sometimes would never know how I died cause I get killed the instant its off n u can't even tell ur visible yet before ur dead
Dealing with that shit is what finally broke me away from being a Hunter main to using Warlock back when Beyond Light Launched. Invisibility is so cool and allows for a lot of tactical approaching to pve content but the inconsistencies are so bad
@@Scripzure That simply isn't true. The issue with Destiny is that they were coded to stop attacking but they never bothered to make them stop tracking. Other games they stop tracking as well

I respect the devs and hard work they put I to making this game, but it really sucks spending 10-30 minutes doing a GM and then dying through a wall, or having and enemy literally teleport to you for zero logical reason. I respect this is supposed to be difficult content, but my fireteams end up failing more to shenanigans than actual player errors.
I think what ends up happening is they program specific windows to do things or counterplay, but the 2001 10hz servers we're still running on don't update fast enough to deal with packet loss from some people's less-than-stellar connections. So we get instant ohk boss teleports and hitboxes that don't occupy even remotely the same space as the animations lol. I love destiny but I think an upgrade to even like 20-30hz servers would clear up a ton of issues in pvp and pve content edit: got got by autocorrect
I think he’s said before in the past he normally does it in one attempt or just a few tries if that. Not sure if it was under a comment correcting someone or the description but he’s said it before.
I cant even get past that same room in lightblade with my team. Every champion and the lightbearer hive just teleport around so there's no way to even target any one enemy. We didnt know that there were only 2 barrier knights in that room until the 4th run
You are such a legend man I appreciate all the content! I am sorry you have these issues too with inconsistent enemy locations, for a relatively casual as myself I can only imagine the frustration grows as the stakes go up 😞
It was actually an intentional change made waaay back in D2Y1. Originally, Invis removed aim assist for anything targeting you, PvP or PvE. But then people realized the Stormcaller super is entirely based on aim assist, so one invis dodge could negate an entire super, because it couldn’t “aim assist” onto the target. So they made the change to only remove aim assist during the dodge animation, not during invis. Then, much more recently, they removed the dodge’s ability to remove aim assist as well. So now nothing involving invis actually breaks aim assist, it just stops enemies from targeting you (usually)
Before the 30th anniversary came out, dodge invis would take off any tracking projectiles that were already tracking you. Smoke invis never had that so if you had a tracking projectile on you and smoked invis after it would still track you. After the 30th anniversary Bungie changed it so that if something was tracking you, dodge invis wouldn't take off the tracking anymore.
On one hand, it’s nice to know that even you need multiple tries to do it. On the other hand, this sent me into a rage for you and that I’m at work kept me from flipping out lol.
Same here, Eso (sorta). I haven’t tried solo GMs but I was at the end boss of Pit of Heresy flawless run and my Gjallerhorn decided to lock onto a dust particle right in front of my face. Cool Bungie. Cool.

I swear Bungie just teleports stuff around to mess with us. I don’t know how many times something that wasn’t there a second ago kills me like that. I’m yelling, “He wasn’t there a second ago!!!” Then, I don’t want to even talk about one shot kills… I have to shoot several times to stun a champion or to break something’s shields, but they can one shot me. Yep…. Why can’t we pick up their weapons, evidently they’re so much better! I want one of those scorn bows, you know the ones that can one shot you this season! Yeah, want one! Then, there’s stuff moving the second you cast your super. It’s like they know…. I sneak up behind something and somehow they dodge my super while shooting at absolutely nothing across the room!

These attacks still one shot at regular psi ops and legendary campaign and such. So even easier content the enemies get cheesy kills. Sometimes they just ignore your team and focus you across the map, wich was specially annoying in Gambit with the old Ogre and Sniper Primevals.
Funny enough, one of the community managers acknowledged that scorn snipers are broken in that they can one-shot anyone under near max resil, but said they wouldn’t be fixing until next season lol
@@Chwarzerd Found this out the hard way when I tried to run one of the Throne World Legend Lost Sectors, there were like 4 or 5 snipers at the start that just gun you down from a long hallway with no cover. Was one of the most infuriating Destiny experiences of my life, and Crucible exists lol.
teleporting enemies has been an issue since the introduction of stasis and it never got fixed. I was thinking it could be desynced enemy placement between player sessions but it happens on solo so its not that.

First of all I need to say your vids are awesome. I call getting killed like that "bungie bullshit" . Also Scorn crossbow kills u in 1 shot from across the map and u can't see them, that's bungie bs. A flurry of enemy bullets doing right angles around corners and kills u, that's bungie bs.
I once killed a scorn and ran up its dead body since it had ammo and a better shot on the champs but then he decided to throw a grenade 30 sec after it died
I truly felt pain on that last one. My man's has a commitment when it comes to what the people want. As well an undefeated mentality. The one to solo all

Id still be super interested personally even if they remained in the same format as your videos with no narration, just gameplay. Respect what you do and your privacy!
Was gonna say for birthplace if you hop on the banner in the back right then on top of the pillar you can jump up and behind the statue in the back of the room effectively being able to just whittle away at the boss. Only issue is you gotta get back there between teleports
the teleporting enemies is what made me stop doing solo GMs. I can deal with my own mistakes. but when I'm in the boss room/ room before boss and I die to an unstop suddenly behind me, man its hard to find the motivation to keep going
Amazing how much the Hive have improved upon a 2+ year old Titan guardian move. We still complain about the tracking on the throws...it's better but it's no where as good as the Hive version.
Teleporting mobs / mob position desyncing really started getting noticeable in Season of the Chosen. But the underlying changes (Beyond Light's merging of the physics host with the mission host) seems to not be able to handle the combined traffic?
to be fair that last room with the invis enemy you can get behind the statue and take no damage. you have to do it every time he teleports you. once back there tho you can take out all the enemies safely unless you dont want to be safe.
This season Bungo said fuck consistency, and fuck rules and logic. Here, get one shot by a fucking Unstop that is stunned and not even facing you. They can now magically manifest projectiles out of their asses!
I can feel some pain... and maybe a little bit of anger too😂. It happens to me all the all even out of nightfalls. There was this one time I tried to solo a dungeon and I took one step and got killed by the Architects.😂

What I don’t understand is that hive sentinel shield somewhat “tracking” you instead of “ricochet” they way it was programmed to be, I had to take a break from the LightBlade Grandmaster for a bit, and just deal with Glassway first sense that’s basically the hardest one
That happens a shit ton in solo lost sectors. There are some places in some sectors I jsut can go cause the enemies will just..... spawn there. And I'm talking about like, top of a shack, Back corner etc

Then you got Rhulk who still hasn't been fixed- The scorn snipers and void grenades- Basically, just delete the scorn and the universe will be balanced agajn
To be fair, the hive sentinel shields don't need to "see" you. They can smell fear.

every game where you go invisible, the enemies are still aware of where you are. that's just how it works

Yeah any seeking projectiles still track through invis, even stuff like gjallahorn's wolfpack rounds in PvP, its really weird

If there's one phrase my teammates hear from me more than any other, well, besides "I hate glaives", it's "The computer's such a freakin cheater!"

This stuff happens a lot, I find, in WQ activities, even at the vanilla levels I play (as a W). It gets old very quickly.

i swear nightfalls have been really de-syncy recently. champions will be a pixel away from death but cant be finishered

I did all the grandmasters yesterday and I had teleporting champs in pretty much every single one. Bungie really needs to pay attention to that issue.
