vitric I thought of the exact same song too by Hans during this scene!! The music in season 7 TWD was the best in my opinion, had me all teared up lol.
@@patrickoliver9133 This is my comment I made on my old account and I would say Negan has some redemption after the newest episode. I still don't forgive but I don't hate him like I did
The walking dead will be always a special place for me , it's an amazing show , it's more than surviving is friendship , is bond , is people making strength .
Yeah. I noticed that the little rising part in the first 20 seconds is from coda too! I'm pretty sure it has something to do when Maggie gets exited or gets her hopes up Becuase just before the ending in coda when rick and the group walk out of the hospital Maggie gets her hopes up and expects Beth and that rising music plays. same thing happens in this scene. Maggie sees all her friends again and it exited and that rising part of the music plays
Such a beautiful soundtrack for an inspiring scene. Its time to fight back and take back all that they've fought so hard for and all that they've lost. Rise Up...
adlerzwei and yet Carol smiles! We will lose none of our ranks. I felt so awful for Ezekiel but I knew he’d suffer the most since he’s just theatrical and thought that going to war with the Saviors would yield no casualties on his side
this season was great.. a story of complete and utter despair, mental breakdown, helpessness, submission to an evil power... then we transitioned to hope.. strength, friendship, sacrifice, more strength, more hope, unbreakable resolve to fight to the death! for freedome!
Still the greatest season premiere the show ever had. People don't like Scott Gimple for legitimate reasons, but man did he deliver on the opening of this season.
The Group is rising up! Beautiful ending with beautiful song! And amazing work B. Claimed, gotta love how pictures change at the very end. Seeing Maggie smile is so calming. Such an amazing Mid-Season Finale! ^^
This particular scene gave me hope and showed how a family can come together and stay strong against all odds. Best scene in my opinion this season. Thank you B. Claimed for this.
Just checked again - 268 likes in just over a day! You people seriously are the best! I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your constant support and kind comments and an extra big thanks to Adrian, who named this track. He has been naming tracks since Episode 5.14 and made his final contribution in this episode. Another big thanks to Will, who has been naming tracks along with Adrian since Episode 6.06. I couldn't do it without these guys! This is starting to feel like an acceptance speech so I'm gonna stop now. Thanks again folks and I'll see you for the second half of Season 7!
Thanks for uploading this, it's my favorite from any TWD episode. Season 7 TWD music was just so amazing! I see lot of people agreeing this song reminds them of Hans Zimmer's "Time" :)
Someone once said hitting those same few notes is inevitable in composing a emotional music track for film, especially those 4 notes of music. I bet Bear McCreary(the shows music composor) would say the same. If you look back at every great music composer they have that moment where they "accidentally copy" and play that same piece of music only you hear it in a different pitch cus there being different instruments used. X-men Days of Future Past even did it for their first trailer even though they meant to channel music used in the beach scene at the end of X-men First Class.
Not that I wanna be in an apocalypse, but being with these people during those many different situations, can teach you a lot. Very motivational score:) I do appreciate it much
When the enemy comes to break u down but u have angels on your side to help remind u of who u are is amazing which is how I felt with this series when it was out
When first heard it I called my son who also watches and asked if he could find out the name of this piece. I love classical music and instrumentals. I watched episode 13 tonight 'Bury Me Here' and feel it is also one instrumental with acoustic guitars that many will want to find out more info about including myself. They're just so heart wrenching in melody and chords. Thanks for giving a name to this piece. If you find out about tonight's music please post it. I will always check. Thanks again!
+B. Claimed I want to say that I appreciate all your hard work of uploading all of these. Without you, we wouldn't even have these unofficial tracks to listen to. Thank you so much. :)
1:09, 1:41, 2:13 and 2:45 is my favorite part of this music soundtrack. And I love the scene at 2:13 when Daryl gives Rick his gun back after hugging him
This was the best scene, it gave relief to the viewers. Their beloved characters had once again risen up from the worst beating ever and finally reunited.
Oh wait, you used multiple images, It's cool to see something new like Something To Fear track. I hope you do more OST videos like the way you did Something To Fear, upload two versions of it.
People saying after the first episode of this season it's been boring but I've been really hooked on to this season I really hope they don't go by the comics I hope they surprise us all and kill neegan
Not gunna happen JDM is officially a staple on the show he may die eventually but comic Negan is too imbedded into the story now it would be a drastic mistake if the tv series killed him off soon
B.Claimed, you are doing an awesome job. You are so precise and truthful in your work that I could not possibly thank you enough for this. Not only you are extracting all these themes that we probably wouldn't hear anywhere else other than here and on the show itself, but you are also telling us when they are played! I broke up in tears when Daryl gave Rick his gun. That object means so much in many ways, just like Hershel's watch, and we would all feel sad for them to be lost. The Revolver resembles Rick's own strength of will. It fashinates me how the showrunners can make stuff like this happen: even something like a fireweapon could achieve more of a mental/emotional value, instead of just being portrayed through its practical function. By getting back his own gun, the one he had ever since before the apocalypse, the one chosen by himself as Rick Grimes, Deputy Sheriff of King County, Atlanta, Georgia, is something which allows him to re-estabilish confidence and familiarity, needed to put him back as the chosen leader for the revolt.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Agree with what you are saying 100%. It's great that all of the central characters each have an item that we are shown to truly be a part of them - the revolver, watch, crossbow, katana and sheriff's hat. Each of them are a huge part of who the characters are, particularly the watch. It is a literal reminder of two of the most beloved members of the group the show has ever seen. But like you said, Rick Grimes is not Rick Grimes without his revolver.
This family separates with the tragedy at the beginning of the season ... But the tragedy unites them more than ever now in the middle of the season and the road to war began! Thanks for upload the epic soundtrack as always Claimed ;D
My ideal show finale is this, Alexandria is prospering and the crew is back together and happy. Daryl is outside shooting walkers with his bow and collecting the arrows back and as he looks up down the main road leading to the entrance, he faintly sees two people in the distance walking towards him. He then sees the two people he thought he would never see again. It's Michonne and she is happy to see Daryl and right next to her, as the camera slowly pans over, for the first time in 4 years, we finally see Rick alive and in happy tears. Daryl is in absolute shock and begins to run towards them in tears and both Rick and Daryl hug at the gates of Alexandria. The three of them head inside and Daryl leads Rick and Michonne to Judith and RJ. Rick in absolute tears runs towards his children and gives them the biggest hug of all time. Everybody else like Carol and Maggie realize Rick is alive and all get together in the center of Alexandria hugging and exchanging smiles. The final shot is Rick and Michonne with Judith and RJ looking towards the sunset as the series draws to a close. The answers to why Rick was gone for so long will inevitably be answered in the movies.
Everyone in this scene except for Daryl and Maggie are all gone by the end of 11x24. (I dont count Rick and Michonne since they never reunited with the group.)
My hat goes off to the musicians responsible for giving us the season 7 WD soundtrack. It has been brilliantly composed, emotional music and went hand in had with what was happening on screen. A big thank you from an English fan!! :)
I remember shouting “ALL-OUT WAR!” during this scene when they were walking to the mansion, honestly if it wasn’t for Bear’s incredible score in Season 7 & 8 I would’ve been out of touch with the show a long time ago
How come I never realised TWD was having deep emotionnal and actual top tier soundtrack !? I probably was too absorbed by the horror and endless cycle of bad things happening to characters I loved but still. It's no godamn excuse ! Let's go find more TWD soundtracks !
This scene would have been even more bad ass if Morgan, Richard, Carol and Ezekiel had rolled up to the hilltop gates looking for Jesus ready to fight and then Morgan, Carol and Rick and CO would have reunited but then I guess the second half would have started all out war and the finale would have been weak as hell than it already was.
What's so sad about the pictures at the end is that everyone besides Rick, Maggie, Daryl, Carol and Michonne even tho Carol wasn't in the pic they are all dead besides those few and Rick is gone. I hate it! But can't wait for Season 10 to start next month.
When daryl gave rick the revolver it made Rick remember that he is Rick grimes and he must protect the ones he love and people who died in negans wrath they have to fight they sick of it we are a army and where going to war
The moment the gun lands back in Ricks hand is the moment the real Rick Grimes returns
And he said in his mind to daryl ,,hello brother"
This is like the Walking Dead version of Time by Hans Zimmer. Just breathtaking.
vitric I literally was thinking the same thing the first time I watched this scene.
vitric I thought of the exact same song too by Hans during this scene!! The music in season 7 TWD was the best in my opinion, had me all teared up lol.

One of the most touching reunion ever, considering how much have happened with this bunch of people.
Itin Udin Yea and it being only 1 1/2 years since it all began
It's a few months longer than a year and a half, closer to two years since the outbreak began
They spent roughly a year in the prison between seasons 3 and 4. That was mentioned through dialogue. It's been ~3 years since the outbreak.
There is a timeline I saw on the Wiki which details all these details and it came out to under three years
Your mom came out to under three years
The "Omg Rick and Daryl just hugged" song ;)
Time to avenge avenge Abraham and our Glenn :')

Its awesome that now in 10x11 they used this song when Daryl marches to war in the Hilltop

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!
I love how this is basically a remix of coda and start to finish's score and put into one amazing score. All of course being mid season finales :)
Xpertfusion I literally thought of coda aswell when I watched this scene!
Yeah. I noticed that the little rising part in the first 20 seconds is from coda too! I also thought of 6.08 "No Turning Back".
Man, looking back Season 7 had some of the best music in this series. For a season that ranked so low among fans, the music is top notch.
One of the best soundtrack in human history, just fantastic, cosmic, unbeliavable, inspiring. TWD forever
Such a beautiful soundtrack for an inspiring scene. Its time to fight back and take back all that they've fought so hard for and all that they've lost.
