Well done on the wardrobe room island Jamie! You really are quite the carpenter! Gemma I'd suggest putting a thin piece of glass or a type of acrylic sheet on top of the marble wrap bcuz putting make up on there could stain it or laying objects with sharp edges could scratch it. I moved into my first house a week before Christmas last year, and I agree it is definitely challenging and one of the most frustrating and emotionally draining situations a person/couple will ever have to deal with. Saturday morning cup of tea☕.. Gemma (and Jamie) 😊. Smiling and laughing in the first 5 mins 😂.. Jamie's 2 pink cup "decor" discovery in Gemma office "sitting on the window sill, chilling!" 😂. I have been decluttering, deep cleaning and building new furniture etc this week while my kids are with their dad... So these types of videos help motivate me! Thanks😊.

I loved listening to you two talk about your mortgage experience! I’ve recently became a mortgage underwriter in the US and it’s fascinating to here the other side of things!!
Awesome job on the island. You will want to be careful not to stain it or spill candle wax if you use a candle on it. Perhaps a very very think piece of glass could go over it to make it easy to clean and protect the marble wrap. Can't wait to see what's next.

For the island, I agree that a round tray would look really nice, although I think it would be better if it was wooden, instead of black. I feel it would be really pretty to have a bit of an accent, because there’s already so much black & white contrast :) The room looks amazing though, you two have done an amazing job.
Love the dressing room..only thing is the too many black handles etc I am not big on the black on white combo …if it was like brass or gold oooh la la and a velvet chair bu5 that’s just for me lol it is good to see you go outside of the box away from all the grey …it’s a great change to see the woods and naturals!
