Hey everybody!
It seems like everybody from Paul McCartney to Bruce Springsteen’s cat is touring in 2022!
We have had KISS lip-syncing, Mötley Crüe playing to a click track, with Vince Neil croaking out less than stellar vocals, and Foreigner is touring without a single original member!
Jon Bo Jovi has been criticized for bad vocals as well, along with Creedence Clearwater Revisited touring while playing with a cover-singer when you could just wait and see John Foggerty live!
Sometimes it seems that the Rock circuit is closer to a traveling circus, than it is to the touring circuits of yesteryear!
Well what about The Rolling Stones? Not only did they loose Charlie Watts last year in the middle of their tour, but many are saying that with only 2 out of 5 original Stones on stage, and one of them is finding it harder to achieve the sound he had even 10 years ago, they have been criticized for not being at the top of their Rock & Roll game!
Are they still “The World’s Greatest Rock Band’? Were they EVER the world’s greatest Rock Band? Or was that just a step closer to the more corporate-approach to touring that the band has embraced more and more over the decades?
