I find fishing far bank margin you do occasionally hook fish on the drop but you really do need to give them time and I catch 75% of my fish on the deck ,trouble is they pick the pellet up and because you haven’t got any tell tale shot you sometimes hook the fish just below the surface or miss the bite but it is my favourite method for catching carp great vids Andy thanks an elastic band helps mark the line with felt tip put you band over it then if a fish does belt off it will take line from under the band then you can go back to the marker put the band back in place
Can I ask question. When getting to venue in the morning. Where should you start plumbing at first to start fishing? Do you start further out and as day goes on start fishing the margin?? Thank s
Only went packington once in the 1990s went in to the fishery office / reception area and asked if I could have a quick walk round to see the lakes and told them I was coming over at the weekend to fish... "cost you £1 to walk round"... Never been back since... Don't know whether that happens anywhere else but it really pissed me off 😡
I wish they would go back to saying what pound line they use because I've used diawa sensor 4lb line which is 0.20 and also used Maxima chameleon 4lb line which is 0.17 it's so confusing just tell us what LB line your using .

I’ve always been wary of using the line clip. Ideal for marking but what happens if you hook a big fish that wants to give you the run around?
Quickly take it off. Generally this doesn't tend to happen if you play fish correctly
From a ghostie to a common to a mirror lol 😆
Andy, in one of your previous videos regarding pellet waggler fishing, you have opted for a 520 reel?
