- Special thanks to my good friend and long-time collaborator, Skander Bibani, who helped me out with elements of this track.
I blended elements from the 3-D era version with the lively 1990s era version of this track. It was incredibly fun to make, especially the solos!
Visuals were created by hand in Blender.
And I almost burned my cinnabon buns in the microwave, because I got lost in dancing to this

This cover is just insane! I enjoyed every single second of it. This captures the '91 tour sound and atmosphere so well that I'm impressed. I feel you took some inspiration/references from the Milan (Italy) '91 gig and the election is perfect. That gig has one of the best MNS performances ever.

Amazing cover! I just have one question: how did you do the effect between 1:12 to 2:20 (the thing where the boing boom tschack vocal line sounds like it's being scratched, but not quite the exact sound). I've actually always wondered how Florian (may he rest in peace) did that live because I noticed that it sounded different every time. If you know, could you please tell me? It would be really helpful!
Thank you! To achieve that effect, you have to trigger the voice samples (boing/bumm/tschak/peng/zong/pss) in a certain pattern with a fast envelope on each of the samples. The pattern stays the same but Florian modulates this pattern via simple pitch bending and also muting different samples, which I presume he did live.

The equipment I used includes a Korg MS-20 VST, Orchestron Choir patch for Kontakt, Arturia Synclavier V, NI FM8, Emu Emulator-II patches for Kontakt and drum samples from a Roland TR-808, Linn LM1, and a Linn Linndrum.
No vocoders were used in this! Vocal samples are mostly taken from multitrack recordings of Music Non Stop which I had to extract and clean up. I also used my Votrax SC-02 speech synthesizer to layer certain elements.

@@AndrewShawMusik Absolutely awesome work Andrew. You have faithfully re-created the tight funk like rhythm & that classic sense of space between the sounds. Especially from 8:00, it sounds so expansive, The same feeling I got from the original album recording. There was so much space between the individual sounds, yet there's a close tight funkiness to it. Brilliantly produced.

Re-recorded with as few samples from the original record as possible. All drum samples are sourced from their respective drum machines. The only samples I took from the original records are the voice samples, which are very unique to this song and difficult to imitate!

It makes sense to start like “Musique Non Stop”. The “Boing Boom/Bumm Tschak” visuals are hard to recreate. There are 3 videos with the visuals. ua-cam.com/video/awK3ZywUpqk/v-deo.html , ua-cam.com/video/hRzer0ubrPo/v-deo.html . This one has “Bumm”, ua-cam.com/video/18dstyhYpWk/v-deo.html . The “Bumm” one has bad quality so, take a screenshot of it and see if you can upgrade the quality by enhancing that photo with A.I. You can use Remini. I know it’s just a mix of the 3D and 1991 versions.

@@pankaburek59 But, it’s live based off of Milano ‘91. Milano started with “Boing Boom/Bumm Tschak”. This is supposed to be a mix of the 3D version and 1991 live versions.

Thank you! The snare in MNS is a very classic TR-808 style snare drum.
I've used the TR-808 in GarageBand for my MNS cover.

Where is the orchestra hit from? Emulator library? Shouldn't the voice around 12:17 "Everything"? be "Extended"? In the 1991 live versions this voice was done with the TI Speak and Spell (or rather samples of it). In 1990 the Atari ST speech synthesizer "S.A.M." was also used on Numbers.

the video just drags on, many scenes are just too long and tiring, but what bothers me about the Kraftwerk live show is that the scenes are too boring, but still a good video that I certainly couldn't do better
das Video zieht sich einfach in die Länge, viele Szenen sind einfach viel zu lang und ermüdend, aber stört mich auch an der Kraftwerk live show, das die Szenen zu langweilig sind, dennoch ein gutes Video , das ich sicherlich nicht besser könnte
