Scott's Cheap Flights is badass! I took my 6 year old to China in March via a flight I found on Cheapflights. I paid $690 round trip for both of us including taxes and fees. Headed to Colombia in 2 weeks! The only downside is it becomes a bit addictive always checking your email to see what little early Christmas present they've presented to you.
Google flights also works with Cheapoair,. As u maybe don’t know u can also search with google incognito. So if u want to search 10 times to see if a flight price dropped with google incognito the will neve know u already checked that flight so they alway give you good and different prices. If u go through regular google some times they said welcome back and they have the flight already set up and price don’t change. Also google flights never send you alerts when prices drop even if u are signed in with them. All the other webs yes they do send u lots of alerts.
I’m confused. What good is the cheap flight from Buffalo in the spring when she is no where near Buffalo? You’d have to add on the cost to get from where you are to these ‘saver’ airports. Doesn’t seem like there would be much, if any, savings? Am I missing something?
jkeithv65 I got that. I’m not sure what good picking five cities to fly out of really is... most people fly out of one, maybe two airports. Probably neither are Buffalo where airlines have these cheap flights to try to get more butts in seats.
Very helpful and a pleasure to watch.. what I didnt get was why would I put in 5 different departure places.. From Charlotte to BUF.. if you know where you will be.. I can understand maybe check various possible destinations and see which is cheaper but why put different states.. also. when the prices show up on the calendar it doesnt say from where to where.. I didnt get it.. sorry.. thanks though.. the other info is really good.
In the video, the choice is to book only for 1 or two weeks, what about the option for 1 month or for 6 weeks or whatever we choose? Another problem I find is that there is no option for multi-city traveling. For example I am travelling to Bangalore, but on my return flight I want to start from a different airport>
@@leroynav5975 This is (mostly) folklore.. Having worked for Lufthansa back-office when I was living in Frankfurt, I can assure you that an airline will NEVER change the price of a flight based on the information contained within your browser cookies or your IP, or other hardware identifiers. Google Flights seems pretty useless to me. Is there a way to track prices or show a calendar for the cheapest flight dates for a multi-city trip? I want to fly from SLC to Frankfurt, Cologne or Dusseldorf next June and return 3 weeks later via Budapest or Berlin. Also, how do you log in so it will track prices for you?

Yes you can, you just need to be logged in to your Google account. After choosing your dates you can follow all the flights that cover that route (there's a blue switch on the left side) , or after you've chosen a specific flight (switch will be on the right side). Good luck!
