    I love how *obvious* everything seems when someone does it really well. No extra movement, no drama ... so simple! 🤣

    Great content. Its so much better having the 2 standards of rider to compare techniques, it really helps explain the theory behind the techniques.

    Whatever pedagogic angle you take, it is always super informative . Thanks for your work ! As Tarres changed the trial, applying bike technique, it seems now that the "monocycle style" is more and more a win win in hard enduro climbs. And forces to work perfect balance and control ;)

    One thing I noticed which you didn't comment on was the different amount of revs put in by the Joe compared to the Pro. Feeding in the clutch at exactly the right time makes a big difference. Too many average Joes are too big on throttle, not enough clutch control.

    I love the analysis and side by side analysis on what makes a more efficient ride up that hill. Am wondering: being a shorter rider with a smaller inseam than you or James, what do you think a smaller and lighter rider would need to do differently than the technique used by James in this section (pivot turning / lifting the front ...)

    The key is to maintain balance and shift your center of gravity through ped, not seat😊

    In addition to Donner being a challenging course, you have to deal with pressure from bottlenecks and riders crowding you at each obstacle. Obviously if you can get these techniques down then that isnt such a problem 😉

    2:37 that engine sounds weird like it’s straight piped but in an echoey way. Like it’s under water or the silencer is empty, kinda sounds like a 4stroke

    • @johnbranson7253
      @johnbranson7253 3 місяці тому

      Yes sounds weird, even more than just needing a re-pack (although it does need that).

    Imagine understanding how tiring it is to actually ride a bike like that.. any complaining just shows you've never rode in anything more than a field. Talk about the science all you want. It's so much more than just doing what you say... And your right, you probably would... If you ever tried. Lol.
