The first "the living threats are worse than the undead" guy before they beat a dead horse with that concept in the show. Maybe there's a "sacrifice everyone" option in the zombie level.

Something about this being a steam release including multiple games made me think of it: have you ever played William and Sly? It's a super relaxing 2D platformer that plays like classic Metroid, just super simplified. It used to be a flash game, but they released it on Steam fairly recently for free. You play as a fox in a forest and you hunt down mushrooms and secret passages. Its chill vibe really suits you.

That's a lie. There's plenty of youtubers that, while I'm typing this, there uploading thousands upon thousands of let's play, right now. You just want your favorite youtuber (which is fine) but there's MANY small channel with really good/high quality and you never seen them because very few people give a chance to see a video that has less than 100 views
I love this series! It's also kinda reminds me of the Chzo Mythos series (horror point and click). They are 20 years old at this point but I still like to go back to these games every few years. I'd love to see you play them!

Scriptwelder is one of my favourite game devs, his games are all so atmospheric. I remember the time Markiplier played them all these years ago. I am glad to see you try them now. If you haven't yet played some of his stand alones, like 400 Years and A Small Talk at the Back of Beyond, I highly recommend them. Don't Escape 4 is a great puzzle survival adventure, but if you are not doing well on time management you'll find it extra hard. I do believe you can beat it, and without a cheatsheet at that.

The second game actually had a lot of possible endings depending if you recruited all three characters or not. It was entirely possible for you to survive but the Father and Jeremy not to make it, stuff like that. Various endings with 1/2/3 characters surviving or not.

The second game is by far the harder of the three and I don't blame you for having a harder time with it. I've played these through several times and I still can never remember everything in the second game when I replay it. It's okay if these games aren't super clear on what you need to do. It's less okay when it's not so clear on what you're able to do, which is where the second game lacked polish. Personally I rank the games 4 > 3 > 1 > 2 Also, getting the priest is a bit unfortunate. It's really easy to make the connection if you talk to the priest before you see the drawing on the wall. The priest says "I've lost hope" and the picture says "there is hope". But if you see the picture first it's kind of meaningless and a lot harder to make the connection. Don't escape 4 is most like the second game, but much more polished and generally clearer with with a lot of references to all of the previous games. It's also much longer. It's really good and I hope you play it!
I did not recongize this game series, or at least the devloper, until you clicked in and i saw the font text. Deep Sleep was one of those weird indie horrors I watched when I was younger so it was lind of nostalgic seeing this game

The main character has very typical borderline personality traits (so did her mother) and like with all cluster B personality disorders there is an element of living in a distorted reality. The way she saw Amelie and Maya is a pretty good example of how splitting looks (one day someone is the best person you’ve ever met, and then the next suddenly they are the worst thing. Very black/white thinking), which is a common psychological trait of BPD. People with BPD also suffer from a weak internal sense of self, and because of that they struggle to self validate and rely on external validation to tell them who they are as a person. BPD is a tricky and painful condition to live with.

You should play Contradiction! It's an atmospheric FMV game where you play as a detective to solve a murder in a creepy town. But it's also full of funny moments and dialogue!

As a nerd who played them all to 100%, you should try these games out, if you watched the vid, dont play the first, theres only one way to win really so its not like you need to try that one, but all of the others have multiple endings, its fun even if you watched it, i did and then played them all it was lovely,not the fourth but i really hope to tho.
