Thank you for sharing your story. My husband, son,and I officially left January 1, 2022. The awakening process is different for everyone. We were all regular pioneers and my husband and son were MS's. What started the wall crumbling was when I realized after a over the phone Bible study in 2020 that I could not teach JW doctrine using just the Bible. This was terrifying and traumatic. My husband had already been waking up. There is a lot more to our journey, but ultimately we could not remain a part of an organization that not only taught lies, but was a lie. Letting go of the indoctrination is challenging, but studying the Bible with new eyes has been a blessing and delight. We are enjoying the blessing of true Godly freedom and being able to follow our savior with no man getting in our way.

There’s a huge difference in life when you stop serving men and their multi million dollar real estate empire/publishing company with all their rules that go beyond what is written. Much of the “principles” Watchtower requires of their members goes well beyond what the scriptures say and is purely based on their interpretation at the time. Sometimes with deadly consequences! For example… the blood doctrine that has changed over the years and cost many their lives. Nowhere in the old covenant instructions on avoiding “eating” blood is the death penalty for doing so! In Leviticus 17:15-16, it requires one who ate blood to bathe, wash their garments and then come sundown they were considered clean before Jehovah again. Who then is Watchtower to require martyrdom when Jehovah does not? This is just one example of many ways that this man made organization burdens people. There is profound freedom in coming to know the real Jesus Christ. As he says in Matthew 11:30, his yoke is easy and his burden is light. This freedom is how he meant for us to live and we are warned to avoid the exact kind of men and organizations like Watchtower.

I believe that he has truly come to face in Christ Jesus, and I’m so very proud of him that he has left this organization. The Bible does it need to be interpreted by members of a freaking building. As far as I’m concerned Charles Taze Russell has been beaten. The Bible claims that these men don’t claim, is that Jesus Christ is our God and creator the Bible says that. His organization clearly goes against us, I would ask our new brother in Christ do you believe Jesus Christ is God he’s obviously going to say yes, obviously because the Bible teaches that. So I am so glad that we have a new brother in Christ who is willing to come to us with any questions and not be Shunned for anything stupid. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not like when you ask questions about scripture they don’t like it, but you can use their own doctrine against them, for example if you listen carefully to what they say, when they say oh yeah Jehovah God he’s called Almighty while Jesus is called mighty, I have spoken to several Jehovah’s Witnesses on this. And I’ve asked them is Jehovah God ever called mighty they have said no I have asked them why? They said well this would make him less powerful if he’s called mighty am I correct on that? ex Jehovah’s Witness?
All the time I was a JW, over forty years I couldn’t get used to the arrogance of brothers. Because they feel absolutely right about their belief it spills over into their daily life. To say I was wrong takes humility. To admit over media is showing courage I never see in so called brothers. You are inspiring my friend.
That hubris is top-down. The governing body has found 'new light' how many times? They keep changing the doctrine but never, ever admit they were wrong. The example watchtower sets for their followers explains it all.

Thanks for sharing. My mom married a strict JW she is 78. He cut most everyone out of her life. She has Heart failure kidney failure. None of us are worthy to be around her, none of us are Jehovah witnesses. So none of us can help care for her. I don’t even know what she looks like anymore it’s been a year plus. She is going to spend her last days with this man. With no family. I can only hope and pray that he cares for her. Like you said he’s very arrogant like some JWs can be. He is very sharp with his words to the point of abuse in his letters to me. Telling me how terrible of a person I am. There’s a lot to the story to long to text. You might have to get a lawyer and go to court to get access to your mother. You don’t need his permission. I’d call the dept for the aging if you have one in your state or country
So sorry to hear of your struggles. Lacking compassion and empathy. I often think about Jesus and the care he showed to the weak. He hates this hard and unloving way that witnesses do in the name of God.

The organization is collapsing from within! No new publishers are being brought in from the outside. Only the children from the JW organization are being added as new members. And even most of those are leaving in droves. Too many false prophecies from this organization about the end of the world. Last count from 1876 to the present is approximately 7 false Armageddon dates. I fled after doing a 50+ year stint in this false religion. Nothing but a cult!!!

I was POMI for years hoping to find the Watchtower that would pull me back in. When I would read the new literature it all seemed so nutty (overlapping generations). For me after believing Bethel was the only spiritually clean organization on earth and to see the Child Abuse Coverups was it for me. G Jacksons ARC statements were also shocking. It does take years to drop the "fear bone" but it does happen with time. How could anyone take S Lett seriously - this is the best the creator of the universe has to offer?

Yes, it is sad and painful to wake up but at least we are now really seeking truth. I remember 1975 very well and it financially devastated many families including mine and they just joke about how stupid we were. Hi Traci, there are issues with this organisation and I no longer have anything to do with it but the KJV is known to have thousands of errors, please do not start to think that Jesus is God because that is a falsehood, the Bible is very clear and one of the dangers is that some who leave the org turn to the lies from other false religions so Satan has tricked them yet again. Thank you for the great video. I was born and raised in the JW cult. Luckily I wasn't able to be indoctrinated as a child. I fought it all the way. Never got baptized. Just skipped out when I left home. But my brother was fully indoctrinated but finally left 8 years ago, in his 40's knowing nothing else. My mother is still a faithful pioneer for the publishing company. There were 7 of us kids. We're all out. Mom's all by herself now. She'll never let go.
I appreciate you speaking up, and hearing about your newly found intellectual/spiritual freedom. Most ppl who ponder these issues first don't consider their absolute freedom to explore all aspects of spirituality. They do not HAVE to believe anything. But culture, upbringing, and indoctrination all play into our sense of spiritual OBLIGATION. Just be mindful of your freedom to choose what you believe. There are very few facts when it comes to spirituality other than everyone has a view. Exercise your spirituality to benefit yourself, and may you find peace and happiness.

Oh you foolish Galatians.... Thank you Lord for moving the Holy Spirit through this beautiful man and opening his eyes to Your truth. No one can work their way into eternal life. Only through Jesus can we have salvation. It was late Jan or early Feb 2020 when I felt a physical hard tap on my chest above my heart. All of a sudden I burst into tears. I was completely confused by what I felt and why I was crying. I cried for days. I got the courage to share that experience with two other women in my life and they had the same experience. I used to be Wiccan so thought I needed to get back into spirituality but that wasn't satisfying and didn't feel right at all so after just two months I gave it up. Very slowly I had revelations and changed deep patterns in my heart such as my former hatred for my mother. I didn't put any of these revelations and changes together. Only a few short months ago did I hear and answer the call of Christ and now I can see everything He's done in my life to love me and I'm so grateful to Him.

Great job! My situation is very similar to yours. I still have family in the organization & one of them has admitted recently that he knows they have lied about so many things, yet still holds on to the belief that the governing body is the faithful slave. The indoctrination runs so deep that he would rather accept the lies. Once we realize they have no authority over us, thats when we truly wake up & can understand that no one is a master of our faith & Proverbs 14:15 makes full sense. "The simpleton believes everything he's told. A prudent man understands the need for proof".

My eyes were opened because when you dont go to meetings anymore and say you will stop with JW, they will not have contact anymore.. well one strange exit conversation but was not disfellowsh because i am still christian. Also friends who divorced because partner had other relationship ..elders say you are not an example and that's why you are not a servant anymore. Unbelievable and very painful and ..their own rules. But i felt indoctrined and stayed too long there which i regret but i will keep looking forward and stay positive in life..i hope.

Don't be discouraged brother in Jesus. There is no perfect church because we're all imperfect. Just find another believer because "Wherever two or more are gathered in His name, He is there in our midst". We need one another to worship and study together. The Body of Christ is everything, I've been searching for the perfect church since 1980 but am now discovering that we NEED one another, so keep searching! God is in charge, he will guide you. He's already given you His Son.
Thanks to you former JW “brother”, but a current one ☝️, I went through the same thing, feel very similar spirit that you had about “all authority” 1914, 1919 and so on. I would be very happy to share with you some of mine spiritual understanding as I see that we have similar reasonings - for abomination that actually, comes in the future and so on. Was a member in the foreign language in SF CA, for 25 years 18 of which was an elder, wonder if we can chat for some spiritual encouragement like in Romans 1 chapter. Hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts. The more ex witnesses do this the better as far as I’m concerned. I was watching the final part of the annual meeting earlier on the “exwitnessawake” channel here on YT. Johnathon, the one who runs the channel showed the presentation based on the last hundred years or so of the WBTS’s efforts to preach, the emphasis was to show the way in which the Bible Students, and later the JW’s have worked tirelessly over the years preaching the good news. It highlighted the enthusiasm the members have had carrying out this assignment since 1919 to date, using placards, literature, phonograms, sound cars, radio stations etc etc which they feel shows how Jesus has used the brothers along with technology to do this, and still does. Whilst watching the old video clips and photos that made up this segment, I couldn’t help thinking of the literature, and the teachings and beliefs being preached during that time. It occurred to me that whilst the purpose of this presentation was obviously to promote the fact that “Gods True Organization” have spearheaded Jesus’ commission to spread the good news, in reality, most of those teachings that were being preached as truth back then are now old light, incorrect and erroneous doctrines. So rather than showing how positive and commendable this work has been, for me it’s just highlighted that all of the time, money, effort and commitment spent was actually carried out to teach false doctrines, untruths, and false predictions. So really, when this came to an end, all in attendance were applauding the work of spreading a false teaching, in fact, if brothers today decided to use the material and subject matter as has been used since 1919, at the very least they would be warned not to, and would even be disfellowshipped if they refused to stop. So what is there to be proud about? And if we use critical thinking, what does this actually tell us about the “help” the organisation is supposed to have received to do it? Does this prove or suggest that Jesus and Jehovah blessed them? If not where did the guidance come from? And what about today? If the vast majority of the old beliefs are wrong, how can we be certain that what is taught now won’t be “refined” or even abandoned in the future? Realistically, based on their track record, should we really trust the Self-appointed faithful and discreet slave as they say we should? Has the Governing Body proved to Jehovah and Jesus that they can be trusted by them? On what basis can they be certain that Jehovah and Jesus do trust them? Are the old doctrines that were taught as truth and have now been Abandoned the way Jehovah and Jesus do things, do they really condone spreading wrong ideas to the world, is that really the way they operate? I seem to remember that Moses, a true prophet, was punished by God for misleading people by using one incorrect statement. In Revelation it states how serious it would be to add or delete anything, going beyond what is written, and in Deut 18 we see how there would be serious consequences for prophesying falsely, incurring the death sentence. So would he be happy to use the MO he condemns to teach people today? Let’s face it, the Watchtower are guilty of all the above , claiming it’s Jehovah who is ultimately behind it, in effect blaming him!
Congratulations! I’m so glad you are awake, many are living the organization, I’m 78 and left on 2016 at the age of 72. I couldn't be complicit in their lies, abuse and cover-ups of child abuse! On 2018 I understood I needed to share my experience and all I know about the organization so people get a clear view of their lies, now I've been making videos in UA-cam! I know I had helped many that are now living a happy life out of a high control group. Welcome to the truth that is Jesus, and about churches, I will never put a foot in one never again, that's for sure!

I was not born in but it was the hardest thing that I have ever done leaving the organization. 30 years later I still struggle…thank you for your video. This helps tremendously.
My main scripture, which we’ve also read thousands of times but in a very different context, was the one in Acts 5:29 “you must obey god as ruler rather than men”. When they started pushing the “trust the governing body no matter how strange it seems” this is the scripture I couldn’t get past. I officially faded a few years back and now have a repertoire of many scriptures that calls out the unbiblical teachings of JW’s. I don’t feel guilty but I feel content that I am not displeasing god by leaving
Thank you for your truthfulness, and my favourite word Duped I was in for 20 years and things that they were teaching never laid well with me. My exit was last year when we were studying their Pure worship Book page 174 ,16A where they say they no longer believe that Christendom is the Antitypical Jerusalem, I have no problem with that but if Christendom no longer represents Jerusalem WHO DOES and there are many Scriptures to be fulfilled, one being that the Disgusting Thing the UN as the JWs Belive will stand in the Holy Place so if it's not Christendom who is it. That and many more Scriptures and questions where sent to Bethel and they couldn't even have the decency to reply so I walked away never to return.

(8:18) I agree. The faithful slave parable was leaving it up to the reader to declare their identification with it if it resonated. I do not subscribe to slavery at all. It is violent and demoralizing but in the parable I see what value a person could be to do good moral works without pay. I see how the watchtower hijacked many children's brains and violated them in every way including economically and psychologically.

I started to wake up in 16 when I had a heart attack. Then when I had a triple bypass in 17, I had to listen to the meeting over the phone. Without the group around I could hear what they were saying Without the spell that they keep you in if you are there. I am 74 years now was in almost all of my life. Jesus saved me and I have never been happier. Congratulations 🎊 to your freedom. Great job, I’ve thought of putting out a vid as well. Initially when I left I remember saying I’d never do that. But now that I’m looking at the JW theology from the outside in, I feel their man made rules are hurting people much more than helping.

Ex JW here, glad to see so many get free from that cult. I had a near death experience almost 7 years back, after 18 years totally away and turned my back on God like so many ex JW’s. Me and my cousins raised in the JW’s turned to drugs and went all the way in when we got out of the craziness of JW’s. Guys, search your heart now, and ask God himself the Most High to confirm what I’m saying, I promise you he will. Hell is real, I am willing to risk my life on it. When I cried out to God for another chance, he gave it to me. I hear him audibly, and can attest we don’t have much time left. All who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. JW is false doctrine, The Father’s heart never condemns us, we condemn us by rejecting him. You don’t need watchtower or elder’s to know Jesus, ask him yourselves, he’s right there with you now and crazy about you. He’s hilarious, and so involved in every little detail of our lives. He loves our humanity, and laughs with us. Not the flesh stuff, but the funny and endearing stuff. Ask him to show you his humor, and his hat and watch what happens. He’s awesome, miracles are real, we see the craziest biblical miracles daily. Healings, demons cast out, and on and on. If your not having fun with God, your not serving him. Listen, I have so much fun with him, regular life is almost unbearable because I just want to be back having adventure with him. I’m telling you, ask him to help you forget everything you think you know about him and have a fresh start. He’ll meet you right there. Right now he will give you new eyes to see his word like never before. Throw away JW’s translation, and go to another version that recognizes the Trinity. Seek him on your own and pray! He cannot lie and you get to know the love of God, not legalistic law keeping and doctrine of men. Please don’t ever throw away God because of a few bad apples. Thank you for sharing your story. My husband, son,and I officially left January 1, 2022. The awakening process is different for everyone. We were all regular pioneers and my husband and son were MS's. What started the wall crumbling was when I realized after a over the phone Bible study in 2020 that I could not teach JW doctrine using just the Bible. This was terrifying and traumatic. My husband had already been waking up. There is a lot more to our journey, but ultimately we could not remain a part of an organization that not only taught lies, but was a lie. Letting go of the indoctrination is challenging, but studying the Bible with new eyes has been a blessing and delight. We are enjoying the blessing of true Godly freedom and being able to follow our savior with no man getting in our way.

There’s a huge difference in life when you stop serving men and their multi million dollar real estate empire/publishing company with all their rules that go beyond what is written. Much of the “principles” Watchtower requires of their members goes well beyond what the scriptures say and is purely based on their interpretation at the time. Sometimes with deadly consequences! For example… the blood doctrine that has changed over the years and cost many their lives. Nowhere in the old covenant instructions on avoiding “eating” blood is the death penalty for doing so! In Leviticus 17:15-16, it requires one who ate blood to bathe, wash their garments and then come sundown they were considered clean before Jehovah again. Who then is Watchtower to require martyrdom when Jehovah does not? This is just one example of many ways that this man made organization burdens people. There is profound freedom in coming to know the real Jesus Christ. As he says in Matthew 11:30, his yoke is easy and his burden is light. This freedom is how he meant for us to live and we are warned to avoid the exact kind of men and organizations like Watchtower.

I believe that he has truly come to face in Christ Jesus, and I’m so very proud of him that he has left this organization. The Bible does it need to be interpreted by members of a freaking building. As far as I’m concerned Charles Taze Russell has been beaten. The Bible claims that these men don’t claim, is that Jesus Christ is our God and creator the Bible says that. His organization clearly goes against us, I would ask our new brother in Christ do you believe Jesus Christ is God he’s obviously going to say yes, obviously because the Bible teaches that. So I am so glad that we have a new brother in Christ who is willing to come to us with any questions and not be Shunned for anything stupid. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not like when you ask questions about scripture they don’t like it, but you can use their own doctrine against them, for example if you listen carefully to what they say, when they say oh yeah Jehovah God he’s called Almighty while Jesus is called mighty, I have spoken to several Jehovah’s Witnesses on this. And I’ve asked them is Jehovah God ever called mighty they have said no I have asked them why? They said well this would make him less powerful if he’s called mighty am I correct on that? ex Jehovah’s Witness?
All the time I was a JW, over forty years I couldn’t get used to the arrogance of brothers. Because they feel absolutely right about their belief it spills over into their daily life. To say I was wrong takes humility. To admit over media is showing courage I never see in so called brothers. You are inspiring my friend.
That hubris is top-down. The governing body has found 'new light' how many times? They keep changing the doctrine but never, ever admit they were wrong.

Thanks for sharing. My mom married a strict JW she is 78. He cut most everyone out of her life. She has Heart failure kidney failure. None of us are worthy to be around her, none of us are Jehovah witnesses. So none of us can help care for her. I don’t even know what she looks like anymore it’s been a year plus. She is going to spend her last days with this man. With no family. I can only hope and pray that he cares for her. Like you said he’s very arrogant like some JWs can be. You might have to get a lawyer and go to court to get access to your mother. You don’t need his permission. I’d call the dept for the aging if you have one in your state or country

I was POMI for years hoping to find the Watchtower that would pull me back in. When I would read the new literature it all seemed so nutty (overlapping generations). For me after believing Bethel was the only spiritually clean organization on earth and to see the Child Abuse Coverups was it for me. G Jacksons ARC statements were also shocking. It does take years to drop the "fear bone" but it does happen with time. How could anyone take S Lett seriously - this is the best the creator of the universe has to offer?

Yes, it is sad and painful to wake up but at least we are now really seeking truth. Hi Traci, there are issues with this organisation and I no longer have anything to do with it but the KJV is known to have thousands of errors, please do not start to think that Jesus is God because that is a falsehood, the Bible is very clear and one of the dangers is that some who leave the org turn to the lies from other false religions so Satan has tricked them yet again.

Thank you for the great video. I was born and raised in the JW cult. Luckily I wasn't able to be indoctrinated as a child. I fought it all the way. Never got baptized. Just skipped out when I left home. But my brother was fully indoctrinated but finally left 8 years ago, in his 40's knowing nothing else. My mother is still a faithful pioneer for the publishing company. There were 7 of us kids. We're all out. Mom's all by herself now. She'll never let go.
I appreciate you speaking up, and hearing about your newly found intellectual/spiritual freedom. Most ppl who ponder these issues first don't consider their absolute freedom to explore all aspects of spirituality. They do not HAVE to believe anything. But culture, upbringing, and indoctrination all play into our sense of spiritual OBLIGATION. Just be mindful of your freedom to choose what you believe. There are very few facts when it comes to spirituality other than everyone has a view. Exercise your spirituality to benefit yourself, and may you find peace and happiness.

It was late Jan or early Feb 2020 when I felt a physical hard tap on my chest above my heart. All of a sudden I burst into tears. I was completely confused by what I felt and why I was crying. I cried for days. I got the courage to share that experience with two other women in my life and they had the same experience. I used to be Wiccan so thought I needed to get back into spirituality but that wasn't satisfying and didn't feel right at all so after just two months I gave it up. Very slowly I had revelations and changed deep patterns in my heart such as my former hatred for my mother. I didn't put any of these revelations and changes together. Only a few short months ago did I hear and answer the call of Christ and now I can see everything He's done in my life to love me and I'm so grateful to Him.

Great job! My situation is very similar to yours. I still have family in the organization & one of them has admitted recently that he knows they have lied about so many things, yet still holds on to the belief that the governing body is the faithful slave. The indoctrination runs so deep that he would rather accept the lies. Once we realize they have no authority over us, thats when we truly wake up & can understand that no one is a master of our faith & Proverbs 14:15 makes full sense. "The simpleton believes everything he's told. A prudent man understands the need for proof".

Everything you said I completely agree with. And my mind is blown once more as you pointed out what the scriptures say about Jesus being given ALL authority on heaven and earth when he died, not in 1914! I can add that one to the list of false teachings of the organization.

My eyes were opened because when you dont go to meetings anymore and say you will stop with JW, they will not have contact anymore.. well one strange exit conversation but was not disfellowsh because i am still christian. Just find another believer because "Wherever two or more are gathered in His name, He is there in our midst". We need one another to worship and study together. The Body of Christ is everything, I've been searching for the perfect church since 1980 but am now discovering that we NEED one another, so keep searching! God is in charge, he will guide you. He's already given you His Son.

Thanks to you former JW “brother”, but a current one ☝️, I went through the same thing, feel very similar spirit that you had about “all authority” 1914, 1919 and so on.
I would be very happy to share with you some of mine spiritual understanding as I see that we have similar reasonings - for abomination that actually, comes in the future and so on. Was a member in the foreign language in SF CA, for 25 years 18 of which was an elder, wonder if we can chat for some spiritual encouragement like in Romans 1 chapter. I would be happy to share some ideas, perhaps it would encourage you as well,I liked your idea about there is no true worship no where as if today 👍, absolute truth.

I was watching the final part of the annual meeting earlier on the “exwitnessawake” channel here on YT. Johnathon, the one who runs the channel showed the presentation based on the last hundred years or so of the WBTS’s efforts to preach, the emphasis was to show the way in which the Bible Students, and later the JW’s have worked tirelessly over the years preaching the good news. It highlighted the enthusiasm the members have had carrying out this assignment since 1919 to date, using placards, literature, phonograms, sound cars, radio stations etc etc which they feel shows how Jesus has used the brothers along with technology to do this, and still does.
Whilst watching the old video clips and photos that made up this segment, I couldn’t help thinking of the literature, and the teachings and beliefs being preached during that time. It occurred to me that whilst the purpose of this presentation was obviously to promote the fact that “Gods True Organization” have spearheaded Jesus’ commission to spread the good news, in reality, most of those teachings that were being preached as truth back then are now old light, incorrect and erroneous doctrines. So rather than showing how positive and commendable this work has been, for me it’s just highlighted that all of the time, money, effort and commitment spent was actually carried out to teach false doctrines, untruths, and false predictions. So really, when this came to an end, all in attendance were applauding the work of spreading a false teaching, in fact, if brothers today decided to use the material and subject matter as has been used since 1919, at the very least they would be warned not to, and would even be disfellowshipped if they refused to stop.
So what is there to be proud about? And if we use critical thinking, what does this actually tell us about the “help” the organisation is supposed to have received to do it? Does this prove or suggest that Jesus and Jehovah blessed them? If not where did the guidance come from? And what about today? If the vast majority of the old beliefs are wrong, how can we be certain that what is taught now won’t be “refined” or even abandoned in the future? Realistically, based on their track record, should we really trust the
Self-appointed faithful and discreet slave as they say we should? Has the Governing Body proved to Jehovah and Jesus that they can be trusted by them? On what basis can they be certain that Jehovah and Jesus do trust them? Are the old doctrines that were taught as truth and have now been
Abandoned the way Jehovah and Jesus do things, do they really condone spreading wrong ideas to the world, is that really the way they operate? I seem to remember that Moses, a true prophet, was punished by God for misleading people by using one incorrect statement. In Revelation it states how serious it would be to add or delete anything, going beyond what is written, and in Deut 18 we see how there would be serious consequences for prophesying falsely, incurring the death sentence. So would he be happy to use the MO he condemns to teach people today? Let’s face it, the Watchtower are guilty of all the above , claiming it’s Jehovah who is ultimately behind it, in effect blaming him!

Congratulations! I’m so glad you are awake, many are living the organization, I’m 78 and left on 2016 at the age of 72. I couldn't be complicit in their lies, abuse and cover-ups of child abuse! On 2018 I understood I needed to share my experience and all I know about the organization so people get a clear view of their lies, now I've been making videos in UA-cam! I know I had helped many that are now living a happy life out of a high control group. Welcome to the truth that is Jesus, and about churches, I will never put a foot in one never again, that's for sure!

I hear you, I was there back in 1975 when the book I studied "The Truth That Leads To Everlasting Life " definitely specified that the end was going to be that year, the end of 6,000 years and we were going into the Sabbath of the new 1,000 year reign of Christ. My main scripture, which we’ve also read thousands of times but in a very different context, was the one in Acts 5:29 “you must obey god as ruler rather than men”.
When they started pushing the “trust the governing body no matter how strange it seems” this is the scripture I couldn’t get past. I officially faded a few years back and now have a repertoire of many scriptures that calls out the unbiblical teachings of JW’s.
I don’t feel guilty but I feel content that I am not displeasing god by leaving
Thank you for your truthfulness, and my favourite word Duped I was in for 20 years and things that they were teaching never laid well with me. My exit was last year when we were studying their Pure worship Book page 174 ,16A where they say they no longer believe that Christendom is the Antitypical Jerusalem, I have no problem with that but if Christendom no longer represents Jerusalem WHO DOES and there are many Scriptures to be fulfilled, one being that the Disgusting Thing the UN as the JWs Belive will stand in the Holy Place so if it's not Christendom who is it. That and many more Scriptures and questions where sent to Bethel and they couldn't even have the decency to reply so I walked away never to return.

(8:18) I agree. The faithful slave parable was leaving it up to the reader to declare their identification with it if it resonated. I do not subscribe to slavery at all. It is violent and demoralizing but in the parable I see what value a person could be to do good moral works without pay. I started to wake up in 16 when I had a heart attack. Then when I had a triple bypass in 17, I had to listen to the meeting over the phone. Without the group around I could hear what they were saying Without the spell that they keep you in if you are there. I am 74 years now was in almost all of my life. Jesus saved me and I have never been happier. Congratulations 🎊 to your freedom.

But now that I’m looking at the JW theology from the outside in, I feel their man made rules are hurting people much more than helping.

Ex JW here, glad to see so many get free from that cult. I had a near death experience almost 7 years back, after 18 years totally away and turned my back on God like so many ex JW’s. Me and my cousins raised in the JW’s turned to drugs and went all the way in when we got out of the craziness of JW’s. Guys, search your heart now, and ask God himself the Most High to confirm what I’m saying, I promise you he will. Hell is real, I am willing to risk my life on it. When I cried out to God for another chance, he gave it to me. I hear him audibly, and can attest we don’t have much time left. All who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. JW is false doctrine, The Father’s heart never condemns us, we condemn us by rejecting him. You don’t need watchtower or elder’s to know Jesus, ask him yourselves, he’s right there with you now and crazy about you. He’s hilarious, and so involved in every little detail of our lives. He loves our humanity, and laughs with us. Not the flesh stuff, but the funny and endearing stuff. Ask him to show you his humor, and his hat and watch what happens. He’s awesome, miracles are real, we see the craziest biblical miracles daily. Healings, demons cast out, and on and on. If your not having fun with God, your not serving him. Listen, I have so much fun with him, regular life is almost unbearable because I just want to be back having adventure with him. I’m telling you, ask him to help you forget everything you think you know about him and have a fresh start. He’ll meet you right there. Right now he will give you new eyes to see his word like never before. Throw away JW’s translation, and go to another version that recognizes the Trinity. Seek him on your own and pray! He cannot lie and you get to know the love of God, not legalistic law keeping and doctrine of men. Please don’t ever throw away God because of a few bad apples. I really love you guys, I experienced the hurts, and I want you to get to know the real Jesus. Please consider this and stay blessed…
