We headed to our local Dollar Tree and bought some cheap vinyl to see how well, or not well, it really worked. I use the DT vinyl for paper crafting.
Great video and thanks for being honest! The only good use I found for Dollar Tree vinyl is etching glass. It worked surprisingly well for that and ceramics that won't need washing (with mod podge).
No longer available in Canadian Dollar Tree stores. So disappointed. It worked really well.

I've had such great experience with it. I wouldn't use it on forever projects but I used silver glitter on ornaments for little kids in script and it stuck great! Also, the permanent vinyl was extremely sticky and I struggled to get the adhesive off of my project after using it as a stencil. I won't hesitate to use it again.

Good to know. I bought glitter vinyl at Tuesday morning. I loved the look but I would not trust it over any time. Tossed the label so I don't remember the product name, it cost 4.99. but I don't think I will buy it again.
Every time I try it no matter how low the settings it tears up
I tried it when it first came out… you did far better cutting and weeding than I did. I threw it out .

When I use the Dollar tree vinyl I noticed that you couldn’t do intricate cuts because the little cuts were slide when the blade tried to cut it.. larger words it cut perfectly. And it would always cut through to the mat. Don’t buy the Glitter Vinyl it’s horrible. I only use the Glitter Vinyl to decorate mini wine bottles.

Try some other blanks. Although I’ve seen it doesn’t work very well at all.
