  • Testing another new shock setup.
This time with more changes, especially on the rear.
    Front shocks change:
    - Switched to short soft spring above the piston (no droop, only sprung)
    - Moved mounting to the uppermost hole closest to the front axle on the front of the body
    Rear shocks change:
    - Switched to medium soft spring above the piston (no droop, only sprung)
    - Increased diameter of 2 (out of 4) holes in the piston to 1.5mm
    - Switched rod ends to twice the length of the original ones
    - Moved mounting to one hole before the last one on the back of the body
    - Moved mounting of shocks and lower links on rear axle closer to the wheels, making the link/shock angle wider
Overall, the biggest improvement over the last change (#1) is an increased articulation and a bit faster rear shock movement which helps when the car is flexing between obstacles. Moreover, these changes should also help on sidehill climbs and apparently benefits steep descends too.

Nice shots, one can really see the suspension work! Any over/underdrive in action?

      Thank you!
I wrote my shock setup in the description if you are interested.
      25% underdrive in rear axle.
I like your nick, reminds me of the time I played UT 😆
